Chapter 27

Cole, Three Months Later

We are officially at the eight-month mark of Ellie’s pregnancy.

She is really showing now. Sometimes I wonder if they made a mistake and there are two babies in there—I don’t tell her that though; I’m not that stupid.

Today we are getting the nursery done. The baby shower is next week, and we want to have the room ready before we bring in all the stuff we will be getting.

We have decided on a pale-sage, pale-pink, and floral theme in the nursery.

So today Jordan, Bri, Greg, and Dianne are coming over.

Jordan, Greg, and I are going to paint the room and put up the wallpaper.

Ellie, Dianne, and Bri are going to be doing what laundry we have for the baby.

There are so many clothes already, despite us not even having had the shower yet.

I’m not sure where they are all going to go.

Greg, Jordan, and I are painting the nursery. The door is closed so the fumes don’t get out of the room, but this also works to my advantage, especially now while we are taking a break. “Hey, Greg. Can I talk to you about something?” I say.

“Of course,” he says and glances at Jordan.

“You need me to leave?” Jordan asks.

“Nah, you know what this is about.”

“Everything all right?” Greg asks.

“Yeah, I just wanted a chance to talk to you about something.” I take a long pause to calm my nerves.

Seemingly tired of waiting on me to ask, Greg interrupts, “You want to marry my daughter?”

I look at him, stunned for a minute, and he starts laughing. “Did you really think I didn’t know this was coming, son?” he says, still laughing, which causes Jordan to laugh right along with him.

“I mean, no, but I was expecting to ask you before you just blurted it out at me,” I say, now laughing too.

“Cole, I already consider you part of my family. Obviously we had our concerns when we first met, but I’ve seen how good you have been for Ellie. She’s having your child. You have my blessing.”

“Thank you. I appreciate it. I’d do anything for her.”

“I know you would. Now let’s get back to work.”

Jordan claps me on the back and quietly laughs, then we resume painting.

About an hour later, we are done. We start setting up the crib and other furniture.

I leave Greg and Jordan to do that, and I go to check and see how much the girls have gotten done.

I walk into the dining room, where they are all around the table, folding the massive piles of laundry.

I lean against the entryway, just watching Ellie.

She seems so at ease. She is laughing at something I assume Bri has said and swaying with the music they have going in the background.

She goes to spin, and that’s when she notices me. She freezes and smiles at me.

“I was just coming to see how it was going in here,” I say.

“We still have a lot left.” She glances at the pile.

“I see that. We finished the painting and put up the wallpaper. We decided to go ahead and set up the furniture. I’m going to go back in there and help with the rest. Like I said, I was just checking in.”

The smile that lights up her face takes my breath away. “All right. I’ll have Bri let you know if we get done before you do,” she says.

“OK.” I stand there for a moment longer before I force myself to go back and help build our daughter’s furniture.

Ellie

Mom, Bri, and I are almost done with all the baby’s laundry. I cannot believe how much clothing there is, and we haven’t even had the baby shower yet. This baby is going to have enough clothes to wear three outfits a day and still not make it through all of them.

“Hey, Bri. Can you go let them know we are almost done?” I ask.

“Yep!” she says and walks toward the nursery.

I look at Mom, and she is staring at me. “What?” I ask.

“You just look so beautiful. Pregnancy looks good on you. I looked like a beached whale both times I was pregnant.”

“Oh, whatever, Mom.”

“I’m serious. It’s no wonder Cole can’t keep his eyes and hands off you when you look like that.”

“I feel huge.”

“That is to be expected, but trust me, you look great.”

“She isn’t lying,” Cole says from behind me, making me jump.

“Hey,” I say, smiling at him.

“We just finished the last piece of furniture when Bri came in.”

“How does it look?”

“It looks great. I think you will love it.”

“I can’t wait to see it.”

“We will let it air out overnight, and then you should be able to see it in the morning.”

“I’m going to go check it out quick,” Mom says as she walks out of the room.

“I think I will leave all these clothes here until the room is aired out,” I say to Cole.

“That works, that way they don’t get paint smell stuck on them.”

“Exactly.”

“Ellie, the room looks beautiful. They did amazing on it,” Bri says as they all come walking in the room.

“That is a lot of clothes,” Jordan says, staring at the piles of baby clothes sitting on the table.

“I know. I can’t believe how much there is already,” I say.

“Well, when you buy something every time you go anywhere, it tends to add up,” Cole says.

“It’s just so cute, I can’t resist.”

“I know, Ellie Girl,” he says, smiling at me.

“So have you two thought of a name for her yet?” Bri asks.

I glance at Cole. “We have a few ideas but haven’t decided yet.”

“I can’t wait until you decide!” Bri says.

We all talk for a little longer before everyone leaves. Again, it’s just Cole and me.

“Let’s plan a date night for next weekend,” he says as he hugs me.

“That sounds fun.”

“Anything special you want to do?”

“I’m fine with anything. It will be nice to have a night out.”

“OK. I’ll think of something.” Then he kisses me. “I think I need an encore of your dancing earlier.”

“I am not dancing for you,” I say, laughing.

“Why not?”

“Because I’m so huge!”

“You are not huge. You look incredible. Edible even,” he says as he nips my neck.

“Please just do it. If your mom and Bri wouldn’t have been here, I would have taken you right on that table when I walked in earlier.

But I don’t think they would have appreciated that, so I contained myself. ” He smirks at me.

I laugh. “Yeah, I’m glad you didn’t. Fine, one dance, that’s it.”

“I get to pick the song though,” he says, smiling at me.

“All right.”

We move to the living room, and he grabs his phone and looks up a song. Music starts playing, and I stand there while he gets comfortable on the couch.

“I’m waiting,” he says with an eyebrow raised.

I turn around so I am facing away from him and start dancing as sexily as I can being eight months pregnant.

I glance over my shoulder at him. He is leaned back and has each arm draped over the back of the couch.

He looks up into my eyes and then back down my body again.

I slowly start removing my clothes to the beat of the music.

Once I am down to my thong and bra, I slowly dance toward him.

His eyes watch my every move. When I get in front of him, I start giving him a lap dance.

He moves one of his arms toward me, and I stop him.

“No touching,” I say, and he groans. I continue teasing him with a lap dance, and I can feel how hard he is while I grind my ass on him.

I’m getting turned on just by him being turned on, and I did not expect this to be so hot when I feel so fat.

I straddle his lap, my back to his front, and then I lean forward and place my hands on the coffee table. My ass is now right in his face.

“Please tell me I can touch you now,” he begs.

“Yes. Please touch me, Cole.”

“Fuck,” he says, grabbing my hips. He pulls my ass closer to his face, shoves my thong out of the way, and then his mouth is on me. He starts thrusting his tongue into my opening, and I moan out.

“That feels so good. Don’t stop,” I say as I start pushing myself into his face more.

He suddenly stops, and I whimper. “I need to be inside you, baby,” he rasps.

I lower back onto my knees so I am straddling him again with my back to him, and he lines himself up with me. Once he is right where he needs to be, I start riding him. My movements quickly start getting slow. I am getting too tired from the extra weight of the baby.

“Lie down, Ellie,” he says, helping me up off him and down onto the couch beside him.

He is kneeling between my legs. Then he strokes his cock a couple of times before slamming it into me.

“Oh fuck,” he says as he starts thrusting into me.

He starts rubbing circles on my clit with his fingers. I’m not going to last.

“I don’t know how much longer I can last, Ellie Girl. You feel so fucking incredible wrapped around me. I don’t know how it gets better every time, but it fucking does.”

“I’m so close,” I say.

“Good.” He uses his other hand to pinch my nipple, and I’m suddenly climaxing, my release encouraging his. “Fuck,” he breathes out. He slowly pulls out of me. “Let’s go take a bath.” He pulls me up.

We take a nice long bath together, and then we go to bed.
