Chapter 24

Jordan

They increasingly spent time together at Jordan's cabin, a beautiful three-bedroom haven on a sprawling property. The cabin was a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, its wooden walls and cozy fireplace creating a sense of seclusion and peace. Large windows framed views of the surrounding woods, each room bathed in natural light.

One evening, as they sat by the fireplace, the soft crackle of burning wood filling the room, Alex opened up about his friend, Brian Decker.

"The thing about Brian," Alex began, "was his incredible sense of humor. Even in the toughest times, he could make you laugh." Alex’s eyes were distant, lost in the memories. Jordan listened, his presence a silent support.

Alex continued, "He had this way of seeing the good in every situation. I guess that's what I miss the most. His optimism, his laughter." A small, sad smile played on his lips as he spoke.

Jordan reached out, his hand finding Alex's. "He sounds like he was an amazing person. Someone who brought a lot of light into your life."

Alex nodded, squeezing Jordan's hand. "He did. And talking about him with you, here in this place, it feels right. Like I’m keeping his memory alive in a way."

They sat there for a while, Alex sharing stories of Brian, the conversation a mix of laughter and tears .

As the night deepened and the fire dwindled to glowing embers, they retired to the cabin's master bedroom, the day's events settling around them like a soft blanket. The night was silent in the cabin—the only sound was the gentle breathing of Alex and Jordan as they lay in bed, quickly falling asleep.

Suddenly, Shadow leaped up on the bed as Alex bolted upright, his scream piercing the stillness of the night. It was a sound filled with raw terror. His body shook violently with a panic attack, his eyes wide and unseeing.

Jordan, startled awake by Alex's scream, was initially gripped by fear. But as he saw the depth of Alex's anguish, his fear was quickly replaced by a determination to help. He reached out, arms wrapping around Alex in a firm, comforting embrace.

"Alex, it's okay. You're safe," Jordan said, his voice calm, starkly contrasting to the moment's chaos. Shadow’s presence was powerful. He nuzzled Alex gently and moved around from his back to his side.

Alex was lost in the throes of the panic attack, his body trembling, tears streaming down his face. Jordan struggled to hold him, whispering words of comfort. "I'm here, Alex. You're not alone."

Slowly, the peak of the panic attack began to wane. Once erratic and shallow, Alex's breathing deepened, the shaking gradually subsiding. Jordan's unwavering support, the warmth of his embrace, and the comforting weight of Shadow by their side all anchored Alex back to the present.

As the terror receded, Alex's sobs turned into gentle crying. Jordan continued to hold him, a silent guardian in the dark.

"I've got you," Jordan murmured, his strength unyielding. He stroked Alex's hair.

In time, Alex's tears slowed, his body relaxing as the last remnants of the nightmare faded. Exhausted, he nestled into Jordan, the steadiness of his heartbeat a comforting rhythm in the quiet room. Shadow, still by their side, lay down, his body a protective presence. With Jordan's arms around him and Shadow's warmth at his side, Alex drifted back to sleep.

Jordan lay awake for a while, watching over Alex, his heart aching for the man he cared so much for .

The first light of dawn began seeping through the curtains when Alex awoke. Beside him, Jordan, sleeping lightly, woke up, immediately attentive to Alex’s movements. Shadow lay curled at their feet, a silent sentinel even in sleep.

Alex’s eyes met Jordan's, a storm of emotions swirling in their depths. “I’m sorry,” he whispered, his voice barely audible. “Talking about Brian... I think it might have triggered the episode.”

Jordan reached out, gently cupping Alex's cheek. “Don’t apologize, it’s okay,” he said softly.

Alex’s gaze dropped. “I feel embarrassed... like I’m broken somehow.”

Jordan shook his head, his fingers tenderly lifting Alex's chin so their eyes met again. “You’re not broken, Alex. You’re healing from a trauma that would overwhelm anyone. Losing your best friend, your brothers in arms... it’s a lot to carry. Don’t ever apologize to me for this. This is all part of you processing the pain. And I want you to know I’m not going anywhere, sweetheart.”

“You being here... it means everything to me,” Alex said, his voice steadier now.

Jordan smiled. “I’m here for you, Alex. We’re kind of in this thing together.”

They lay there in silence, wrapped in each other’s embrace, Shadow at their feet, as the new day began.

Over time, Jordan saw a noticeable shift in Alex. His visits to Dr. Martin seemed to have a transformative effect, each session leaving him lighter and more focused, a stark contrast to the withdrawn demeanor he used to exhibit. Jordan marveled at the change, attributing it to Dr. Martin's expertise, whom he now half-jokingly called a “miracle worker.”

The following Saturday morning was unfolding in its usual peaceful rhythm. Jordan clad only in shorts and his hearing aids, his hair tousled from sleep, walked into the kitchen, excited by the smell of the beautiful breakfast that Alex was preparing. He loved Saturdays, their day off from running and the clinic, where Alex made him an excellent breakfast. However, what he saw instead was a scene of adorable mischief.

With his front paws on the counter, Shadow, who was generally well-behaved, was in the midst of a stealthy operation. The plate of bacon, which had been left unattended, was now nearly empty, save for one last piece. Shadow's eyes were locked on Jordan, broad and almost comically guilty. He moved in slow motion, his snout inching towards the final piece of bacon as if he were a master thief trying to avoid detection.

Jordan couldn't help but chuckle at the sight.

"Shadow, Alex isn’t going to be happy about this," he said in a light, teasing tone.

At the sound of Jordan's voice, Shadow seemed to realize the game was up. With one last longing glance at the bacon, he scampered off the counter and trotted over to his bed in the corner, curling up and trying to look innocent.

Shaking his head in amusement, Jordan stepped onto the porch where Alex enjoyed his morning tea. Alex looked up as Jordan approached, and his eyes immediately lit up.

"Well, hello there," he said with an appreciative smile, his gaze briefly lingering on Jordan's shirtless torso. "You look... great this morning."

Jordan's cheeks colored slightly at the compliment, but he quickly moved on to the reason for his visit.

"So, I have some news about your bacon," he began, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Alex's expression shifted from admiration to curiosity. "My bacon?"

Jordan nodded, trying to keep a straight face. "Shadow decided to help himself to the last of it. He was quite the stealthy little thief."

For a moment, Alex's face fell in exaggerated despair.

"My bacon? Shadow ate my bacon?" he whined, mimicking a child's lament. He leaned back in his chair, a theatrical hand over his heart. "Betrayed by my dog over bacon!"

Jordan laughed. "He seemed to think it was worth the risk. You should have seen him trying to be sneaky."

Alex joined in the laughter. "I guess I'll have to hide it in the microwave next time. Or maybe share it with the bacon bandit.” He shook his head with mock solemnity. “That was the last of it, so today we get eggs, oatmeal, and toast,” he said sadly. “My bacon.” He gave Jordan a booboo face. Jordan laughed.

Jordan, with a mischievous look in his eye, said, "I can help you forget about your bacon with some sausage."

Alex replied, "You did not just say that. Yes, of course, but you didn’t say that.”

The area of the property that the cabin was on was very private. You could hear cars driving up the gravel driveway almost a quarter mile away. Jordan had become bold lately with his nudity on the porch when Alex was around.

Jordan shed his shorts and underwear. He approached Alex, who was sitting in the stout chair that he claimed as his own. He climbed up onto Alex's lap and kissed him. He was gentle at first—then, as it became more passionate, it became sloppy and aggressive. Each of them waged war with their tongues with loud moans.

Jordan grabbed Alex's full black hair with his left hand and took control. Alex's moan was loud and rewarding. He reached under Alex's shirt and grabbed hold of his right nipple, and Jordan was rewarded by Alex's erection poking into his leg. They continued kissing, each kiss more passionate than the last. Alex's moans made Jordan wonder why he would ever remove hearing aids from his ears again. To miss out on the joys of Alex's sounds would be sinful.

Alex had been more submissive in the bedroom with each passing day. Jordan tied Alex down to the bed before with some neckties. Jordan licked every inch of Alex's body and edged him for almost two hours. Alex was so overwhelmed he wept. He had never experienced an edging session before. Later that night, he was on Amazon ordering restraints. He kept asking to try it again.

Now, Jordan let go of his nipple and rose up in the oversized chair, his impressive erection taunting Alex. Still holding onto Alex's hair, he held his head in place as he slapped his dick on each side of Alex's face. Both men never broke eye contact.

Jordan reached out with three fingers and entered Alex's mouth. Alex spread his lips and welcomed the intrusion. Jordan was skillful at getting his mouth ready for the onslaught that was about to occur. His fingers went deeper with each stroke, testing Alex's gag reflexes. Alex rewarded him by opening his mouth so wide that he invited a fourth finger in. Jordan accommodated and continued as Alex shed a single tear.

Jordan removed his fingers and put the head of his dick into Alex's waiting mouth. Jordan was more forceful with fucking his face since their first time. Alex learned to breathe and take everything that Jordan offered. The noise from the cabin could have scared away nearby wildlife.

Jordan's thrusts intensified. He realized Alex had become the perfect vessel for his needs and desires. After several minutes, sweat dripped off Jordan's brow as his grip on Alex's hair tightened. Still not breaking eye contact, he exploded down Alex's throat. His muscles and body spasmed in delight.

Alex swallowed every bit that Jordan had to offer him. He stayed in place as he recovered from the vicious attack on his mouth. His breathing returned to normal as he waited patiently. He had grown accustomed to letting Jordan take the lead and greatly enjoyed it, too.

Jordan felt his dick softening in Alex's throat. He enjoyed the sensation it gave him. Alex mentioned last night that it was one of his favorite parts of face fucking. They received their test results recently. Now, they were exclusive and wanted no barriers between them. Jordan was happy because condoms are uncomfortable for him.

Jordan pulled his softening dick out of Alex's mouth and slid to his knees back on top of Alex's lap. He was still holding onto Alex's hair. He kissed him passionately. Alex's moans were everything to Jordan.

"I taste pretty good,” Jordan said. “Thanks for putting the pineapple in my salad last night."

Alex laughs loudly. "You are most welcome. And I agree, you taste amazing. Damn Jordan, what the hell are you doing to me? I’m turning into such a slut for you."

"You’ve always been a slut. You just never had someone like me to show you how to do it right." Both men broke into laughter.

Alex stood up from the chair, his hard dick constrained by the underwear and shorts that he was wearing. Jordan was still in his arms, and he carried him inside the house like he weighed nothing.

Once inside, Alex headed for the bedroom and gently laid Jordan on the bed. He backed up and teased off his clothes for Jordan .

Alex reached into the nightstand drawer. He pulled out the leather restraints that he ordered. He looked into Jordan's eyes with a mischievous grin and asked, "Edge me?"

Jordan got up, took the restraints from Alex with a huge smile, and guided him to the bed.

Later, they exited the shower together, filling the morning air with laughter. They were starving, since they chose sex over breakfast earlier in the morning. It had been almost two hours, and it was time to get dressed and eat before the event that afternoon. It was shaping up to be a perfect day.

The day of Lisa's wedding had arrived, a much-anticipated event that had everyone at the clinic buzzing excitedly. The ceremony was held at the local Episcopal church, a grand structure with stained glass windows that cast colorful patterns on the pews. Lisa, radiant and classic like Audrey Hepburn, was the epitome of timeless beauty as she walked down the aisle. Her dark brown hair was elegantly styled in a chignon, with a few delicate tendrils framing her heart-shaped face. Her almond-shaped eyes, the color of rich mocha, sparkled with joy.

Her skin, smooth and luminous, seemed to glow with happiness. The bridal gown was a masterpiece of lace and silk, elegantly accentuating her slender figure and adding to her ethereal appearance. The dress's intricate lacework and flowing silk complemented her graceful poise, making her every step down the aisle look effortless and regal. With her luminous smile and radiant aura, she captured the hearts of all present.

Sean, her soon-to-be husband, waited at the altar, his eyes brimming with emotion. He was the picture of a rugged outdoorsman, with short, neatly trimmed hair and a well-groomed goatee that added to his rugged charm. His skin was tanned from years of outdoor adventures, and his physique was strong and athletic, built from the physical demands of his job as a paramedic and his love for hiking and climbing.

In his suit, Sean looked handsome but slightly out of place, fidgeting with the collar and sleeves as if they were trying to restrain his natural, rugged demeanor. His eyes, a piercing blue, were filled with admiration and love for Lisa. Despite his slight discomfort in the formal attire, his gaze never left her, filled with admiration and love for the woman who looked every bit like a vision from a dream. His hands, rough from years of hard work, trembled slightly, not from nerves but from the overwhelming emotion of the moment. As Lisa approached, Sean's fidgeting ceased, and he stood still, utterly captivated by his radiant bride.

The church was filled to the brim with over a hundred guests, including most of the clinic's staff. The air was thick with the scent of flowers and the soft murmur of excited whispers.

But the natural spectacle was yet to come –- the outdoor reception held on the clinic property. Lisa had insisted that everyone bring their pets, turning the event into a delightful mix of elegance and furry chaos.

Jordan had bought Shadow a tuxedo, and the dog looked unexpectedly dapper in it. The sight of Shadow in a tux, complete with a tiny bow tie, had everyone cooing and laughing. He seemed to understand the importance of the occasion, carrying himself with an air of canine sophistication.

As the reception unfolded under the canopy of twinkling lights, the scene was a tapestry of joy and celebration. Tables adorned with elegant floral arrangements were interspersed with dogs of all sizes, some donning their wedding attire, adding a whimsical charm to the festivities.

Alex and Jordan mingled among the guests, their smiles as wide as everyone else's. The atmosphere was infectious, celebrating Lisa and Sean's love and the community they had built around the clinic.

The highlight of the evening came when Shadow, in his tux, decided to join the dance floor. With surprising grace, even with his injured paw, he pranced around, his tail wagging to the rhythm of the music, drawing laughter and applause from the guests. Linda leaned over to Jordan and said, "I think Shadow might be the real star of this wedding."

Alex chuckled, his eyes following Shadow's happy antics. "He's stealing the show. We might have to sign him up for dance lessons after this. "

As the night wore on, the air filled with music, laughter, and the occasional bark. Amid their first dance, Lisa and Sean looked like the perfect couple, their love shining as bright as the stars above.

The reception perfectly blended elegance and fun, reflecting Lisa's vibrant personality. It was a night to remember for Alex and Jordan, a celebration that encapsulated the joy, love, and community that defined their lives.

They drove back to the cabin after taking Linda home, with Shadow dozing in the back seat, still wearing remnants of his tux. Alex and Jordan shared a contented silence. Moments like these, filled with laughter, love, and some canine humor, made their journey together all the more special.
