44. CHAPTER 44

ARIA

M y dresser drawer was mocking me.

I should get rid of those letters piling up in it, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it.

Jason was a dark cloud looming over me that I couldn’t shake.

I felt Sebastian’s arm around my waist, pulling me close. My eyes lingered on the drawer a few more seconds before I turned, half smiling at him.

“I don’t know why you still have this place when I want you at mine all the time.”

“It’s where I live.”

“Come on, Nyx. It’ll be just like old times.” He started kissing my neck. “Well, apart from the fact I’ll be fucking you all the time.”

I playfully hit his chest. “So that’s why you want me there.”

“You can’t blame a man for trying.” He kissed my lips.

“But no, that’s not the only reason. I want you there because I want you fully in my life, all the time.

However, I respect that you want to do things on your own, and if you don’t want to give up this place just yet, I understand.

” He kissed the tip of my nose and then my forehead.

I did want to be with him all the time, but I couldn’t rely on him like that.

I wouldn’t lose myself to a man again. I needed to be able to stand on my own two feet, no matter what happened.

This was my new beginning, a chance to start over from everything that happened to me.

I never expected to find someone, let alone Sebastian, and I was glad he understood that.

He rested his hands on my cheeks as he looked into my eyes. “Right now, though … I just want to hear how good I make you feel.”

His lips met mine, full of desperation, like an addict who had been waiting for their fix.

He backed me onto the bed and positioned himself between my legs.

He’d barely touched me, and I was already dripping, aching to feel him inside.

He ripped my leggings down like he couldn’t wait to get inside of them, then started teasing lazy circles with his tongue over my inner thigh, causing my body to shiver as I gripped the bed sheet.

“Beg me for it,” he whispered as he carried on kissing me, knowing full well I was desperate for him.

“Please, Sebastian.” My voice shook with every word as my body ached. “I need you.”

“That’s my girl,” he growled.

As soon as his tongue hit me, I could feel that electricity dancing under my skin, setting that fire ablaze. Desperate whimpers fell from my mouth as he started enjoying his favourite meal.

“Oh, fuck, Sebastian. Please don’t stop.”

My body arched as he gripped my hips, pulling me further to him and burying his face between my thighs. I fisted the blanket tighter as I felt the heat coil around me.

“Don’t you dare come. I want to enjoy you,” he growled.

My breathing got heavier, and my body quivered as I tried to stop myself from fully letting go. He slid two fingers into me, causing an intense moan from my lips.

“That’s a good girl.”

He teasingly sucked my clit, his fingers pushing deep to bring me to the precipice, then slowly withdrew them, edging me to the point that I wanted to self-destruct, and I knew it wouldn’t be long before my body betrayed me.

“Sebastian, please,” I begged, my voice quivering, desperate to let go.

“How badly do you want it?”

I couldn’t hold back any longer. My body was begging to be filled by him.

I rose to my knees. He looked at me, but I didn’t give him a chance to say a word as I pulled his top off in frustration and ran my hands up his bare chest, our lips crashing together.

Then I pushed him to the bed, climbing on top, and started grinding against his hard cock, soaking his trouser fabric.

“Fuck, Nyx.” He groaned.

I unclicked his buckle, and those trousers soon came off. I slowly eased my way down, taking every inch of him as I felt the heat rising in my core.

“You’re always so fucking tight around me.”

His hands pressed into my back, his body rising, to pull us together. I wrapped my arms around his neck, rolling my hips hard. I was on fire, ready to jump over the edge. His hands found my arse and squeezed it tightly, bouncing me on him, as he bit my bottom lip.

“You’re a bad girl,” he growled in my ear, then started kissing my neck.

“I’m your bad girl,” I whispered back.

He bit my neck as I felt his lips curl into a smile. “Come for me, Nyx.”

My motions got faster as he pounded into me, the heat between us burning every part of me as my orgasm hit. Moans fell from my lips, that pure euphoric feeling rushing over me, forcing my body to shake.

His motions got harder as he slammed me up and down against him, picking up speed. My pussy clenched around him.

“Oh fuck,” he moaned, his body trembling against mine, releasing all of him into me.

His lips met mine. The kiss was raw, primal, claiming.

My breathing was heavy, but I didn’t need oxygen when I had him.

I could hear Sebastian in the kitchen as I sat down at my dressing table, the drawer tormenting me.

I needed to deal with this.

Taking my phone out, I looked over at the door, then shot off a text.

Aria: I need your help. Can you find out if Jason has been sending me letters?

The bubbles came up fast.

Callum: I’ll do what I can.

Taking a deep breath, I threw some clothes on and made my way to the living room, where Sebastian was sitting on the sofa, his elbows on his legs and fingers together, his chin resting on them. He’d made coffee and breakfast muffins covered in butter, just how I liked them, so I grabbed one.

“Do you want to tell me why someone is sending you red roses?” he asked calmly.

“What?”

Sebastian picked up a bouquet from next to the sofa and held it out to me.

“Are these from you?” I asked, trying to figure out if this was a joke.

“Aria, I know you hate red roses, so why would it be me?” He raised his brow at me, his jaw clenched.

I put the muffin down and fiddled with my sleeve. “I don’t know who they’re from.” I tried to stop my voice from shaking, a sick feeling forming in my stomach.

I swallowed hard, trying to clear the lump in my throat.

“Serfina. Serfina said she was sending me flowers,” I blurted out, my voice going up a notch.

“Aria,” he said quietly, “if there’s something you need to tell me, now’s the time.” It felt like his eyes were piercing my soul.

I couldn’t. Jason wasn’t someone Sebastian needed to involve himself with. He had already been walking a fine line when we were younger, and now that he was on the straight and narrow, I wouldn’t be the one to draw him back there.

“There’s nothing. It was Serfina.”

He searched my eyes for more, but I wasn’t going to let him see it.

He sighed, placing his hand on my cheek, kissing my forehead.

“I need to go deal with something. I'll pick you up later,” he said, grabbing his coat.

“Sebastian, please don’t go,” I called.

His chest rose high as he turned to face me. “You’re fucking lying to me, Aria.”

“I’m not. Please.”

He let out a breath through his nose and tucked the loose hair behind my ears, resting his hands on my jaw.

“You know where to find me when you want to tell me the truth. I’ll pick you up at six for dinner.”

He pressed a kiss to my forehead and left.
