Chapter 16 #3

Gene can’t hold back—his release overtakes him, shooting cum onto the linoleum floor.

Ray strokes him through it, still pumping into him, extending the high more than Gene ever thought possible.

His vision blurs, seeing stars. His whole body is on fire.

All sorts of euphoria consumes him, still trying to be as quiet as possible, as Ray keeps thrusting and thrusting—

Ray slows down suddenly as Gene feels a rush of warmth inside him.

He pants, and so does Ray, raspy and moaning lowly.

He doesn’t let go of Gene’s cock yet, simply holding them both there, Gene trapped against the counter.

Breath after breath, Gene’s mind becomes clearer, starting to regain focus again.

He sees Ray in the mirror, looking so goddamn beautiful.

“Fuck, that was absolutely amazing,” Gene says out loud what he’s thinking.

“It was. I told you I was gonna make a mess out of you,” Ray chuckles, leaning over and resting his head on Gene’s shoulder blade, giving it a kiss.

“You really did.” He chuckles as well. “Now we really gotta clean up.”

“For sure. Here…”

Ray finally lets go of Gene’s cock, some of the sticky cum leaving with it, and he eases out of him, stepping away to snag a box of tissues on the counter.

Or, maybe it’s more like waddling away, with his pants still around his ankles.

It’s a funny sight; Gene smiles. Ray pulls out some tissues and wipes himself clean.

He then hands the box to Gene who does the same, making sure he doesn’t step in the puddle on the floor.

“I guess I’ll use some of these to clean up that mess,” Gene says, setting the tissues down temporarily on the counter so he can pull his pants up, zipping up his fly.

“Nah, I’d rather see you lick it all up.” Ray winks.

“What?” Gene laughs. “You’re disgusting.”

Ray adjusts himself, zipping up his own pants and tucking back in his shirt. “Just thought it’d be funny.”

“I guess it was.”

Gene grabs some more tissues and cleans up his mess, grabbing all the used ones and throwing them into the little trash can in the corner.

That was easy enough. Hopefully no one is going to be suspicious of just some tissues…

well, unless maybe they smell something funny.

But there’s a bottle of cologne on the counter; Gene decides to grab it and spray around the trash, just in case.

“Good idea,” Ray says. He steps closer to Gene, raising his hand and caressing Gene’s cheek.

It’s like on instinct—Gene leans into his touch, then forward, kissing Ray’s lips.

The taste is bittersweet, knowing they’ll have to go back out to the party after this.

But Gene wants to taste him one last time.

Maybe they’ll have another chance like this again.

It was easy enough for Ray to set something up without anyone suspecting anything, even getting away with it when Pat knocked on the door.

If this is all they’re allotted, then Gene will take what he can get.

Anything to have Ray.

Their lips part; Ray smiles. “You look a bit flushed. Maybe we should use some concealer to brighten your complexion.”

“If you think that’ll work, yeah.”

Gene sets the cologne down back on the counter and Ray digs through the make-up, finding what he needs, but also explaining to Gene that stirring it all up will make their excuse of ‘cleaning up’ more convincing.

He applies some of the concealer to Gene’s face, the powder almost causing him to sneeze.

But he appears fine when he gazes at himself in the mirror, and figures it’s probably time to head out.

“Don’t forget what you came in here for,” Gene says.

“What do you… oh!” Ray chuckles, then steps over to the locker, opening it. “Yeah, this.”

After Ray pockets his wallet, the two finally head out, shutting the door behind themselves once they’re out in the hallway.

Ray leads as Gene follows, walking back toward the greenroom.

Oh, if only Gene could hold his hand, but he knows they need to play it cool in case anyone spots them.

What happened in the dressing room has to stay between Ray and Gene—and only them.

Once back at the party, Pat notices them instantly. She waves them over. Gene looks at Ray, who looks at him back, face saying something along the lines of: I guess it’s back to reality now.

Carol is standing next to Pat, of course, with Carol looking a bit more dazed than Gene usually sees her.

They’re still over by the tables, with various other people congregating around as well.

Nicky is sitting in a folding chair right beside them, smoking a joint and eating a cookie, not paying anyone any mind.

Gene walks with Ray toward them, and Pat speaks up first.

“That took a bit longer than I expected.”

“Shut up, it’s fine.” Ray laughs it off. “Everything’s settled and no one will have to worry.”

“If you say so.” Pat shrugs.

“How much time has passed, anyway?” Carol asks, not looking at anyone in particular, but off into space. “I was getting worried you got lost.”

“I didn’t, I’m fine!” Ray reassures. “You’ve been having fun, babe?”

There’s that term again that grates Gene’s insides. He tries to ignore it.

“Yeah, they’ve got some good snacks here.” Carol nods. “Dennis is a pretty good DJ, too; he’s working the stereo over there.” It’s hard to hear over the chatter, but faintly, Gene can hear the newest T. Rex album playing in the distance.

“Well, he better be a good DJ. He’s got a good ear to find the Dusty Brooms in the first place, to want to be our manager,” Ray laughs.

“Come on, let’s get a bit closer to the music.” Carol grabs Ray’s shoulder, pulling him closer to her.

“Oh, uh… okay!” Ray doesn’t even hesitate; he simply lets her drag him away from the table and around the other people, leaving Gene in the dust.

There Gene is, standing by Pat and Nicky, dumbstruck, unable to chase after the one he wants the most.

He shouldn’t be upset. He knew this would happen, as it does every time Ray is around Carol.

That’s just how life is. He shouldn’t let it get to him.

But it hurts so much more, remembering what happened only minutes ago.

The way Ray held him against the counter, fucking him, pleasuring him out of his goddamn mind…

“Well, did you have anything you wanted to do tonight, Gene?” It’s Nicky asking.

“Oh, uh… no, nothing in particular. Just hanging out with you guys, I guess.”

“Alright. Did you want a hit, man?” He holds out his joint.

“Yeah, sure.” Gene doesn’t have to think twice. He accepts it gladly, sucking in the smoke as if his life depends on it.

It probably does, honestly.

He knows he’ll need more than just one joint to calm his racing mind.
