Left with little choice, Erin and Theo pack into a tiny Smart car and pursue the pair through ferry disasters, Christmas chaos, and far too much forced proximity.

Between the grief Erin has kept buried and the connection she never expected with Theo, she begins to suspect that Maeve has not lost her mind—she has decided to start living again, and Erin may want that second chance too.
