Chapter Four #3
“Fuck,” I hiss and throw myself off the bed and onto the floor.
I can hear the faint vibrations still, but it’s the fucking moan that does it for me.
I am too goddamn curious now, so I slowly peek my head up to look at him, and he is lying back on his bed with his eyes closed as he strokes his cock.
I watch in awe as he slips in and out of it.
He has his fist tightened around the blanket under him, and he is breathing heavily.
I stay where I am and listen to his beautiful moans, wishing I were that goddamn toy. What I wouldn’t give to be fucked by him right now. I know it’s just because I am still trying to break out of the cycle of abuse I was in before.
I keep my hand over my mouth so I don’t get caught, but I am definitely going to hell for peeping on my high school bully jerking off.
He lets go of the toy while still on his cock, and I realize it’s sucking and vibrating from the way it moves and sounds.
He grits his teeth and groans as he rocks his hips, but lets the toy work his orgasm out of him.
“Oh fuck, Liv,” he moans as his body tenses.
Did he just… Oh, dear heavens… By the time he is done coming, he is panting, and so am I.
It’s leaking out of the base, and I fucking wish it were me.
He’s trouble… So much fucking trouble…
Now that I’m done being a creep, I crawl to the doorway and stand up. I wait a few seconds before walking into my bedroom like I didn’t just watch all of that. I glance over, and what looks to be the bathroom is cracked open, and the light is on. Steam is coming out, so he’s in the shower now.
I quickly change into a giant shirt and go out to my living room to sit on the couch with my e-reader. I plan to pretend that I didn’t see anything, but I know he saw me. I have no fucking idea why he continued… Unless he wanted me to see… Wanted to see if I’d watch or shut the curtains.
The minutes tick by before a light knock sounds at the door, and it opens. “Hey,” I say, not looking up immediately. “That was fast.”
“And here I was about to apologize for taking too long,” he muses as he shuts my front door.
“No, you’re good,” I say with a smile. I make the mistake of scanning his body. Dear God, the man is wearing gray sweatpants. My eyes snap up to his face, and his smile is wicked.
“You okay, Liv?” he asks.
“Mhmm,” I choke out with a smile. “Whatcha cooking me?”
“Technically, I’m going to heat you up something I made last night,” he says. “It’s fettuccine Alfredo.”
“Oh, bless you!” I gasp, and he laughs.
“I thought you might like it. I made it for Kate on her birthday last year, and I think she cried.”
“That tracks,” I laugh as he walks to the kitchen with a cold bag.
I pull my legs up and rest my e-reader against my thighs as I lean back on the couch. This way I can watch him but look like I’m reading if he looks over. He moves around the kitchen, gathering what he needs to heat it up on the stove.
He glances over, and I’m not quick enough, so he catches me staring at him. I sink into the couch more and blush hard. “Something you want to talk about, Liv?” Bodhi asks with a smirk as he looks back at the stove.
“Nope,” I say quickly. I try to focus on reading, but I can’t. I look up at him, and he’s watching me now, and my face is about to burst into flames. Instead of trying to play it off, I groan dramatically and flop over on the sectional to pull a throw pillow over my face.
“What’s wrong?” Bodhi asks, and he sounds closer. The couch dips next to me, so I don’t move. “Come on. Sit up here and eat.”
“Ugh,” I groan and make myself sit up. He sets a plate of food in my lap, and he has a plate, too. It looks and smells amazing. “This looks incredible.”
“I hope you like it,” he says, taking a bite of his food. I look at him for a moment, and he smiles at me. “Something on your mind?”
“Nope,” I say, turning back to my food to eat. It’s absolutely amazing, and about halfway through, I realize I am eating like a pig. I suddenly stop when all I can hear is Jason’s voice in my head.
“This is why you’re so fat.”
“Slow down, pig.”
“Eat another one, fat ass.”
It all starts to overwhelm me, so I set the plate on the ottoman in front of me. I am desperately fighting back tears. I go to stand up and escape before I start crying, but Bodhi sets his plate down next to mine.
I look up at him with tears filling my eyes, and he says nothing but puts his arms out.
I lean into him, and he wraps me in a hug, causing a sob to crack from my chest. He gently rocks us and rubs my back as I cry through flashes of memories.
He doesn’t judge me or demand an explanation because he understands.
He knows what is happening because he watched his own mother being abused.
Really, he might be the only one outside of Daisy who understands.
“I’m sorry,” I sniffle.
“Hey,” he says, lifting my chin. “Do not apologize.”
“I fucking hate crying,” I say. Looking up at him calms me in an almost instinctive way, and that’s a terrifying feeling.
