Chapter Two

Lance

I am sitting on the couch with Mason and Dean when Sadie walks with Alex back to her room. She is smiling as they talk, not looking at us even for a moment. “I don’t like him,” I say when her bedroom door shuts.

“None of us do,” Mason says, matching my mood. “All he’s going to do is use her and leave her. He’s done that to every girl he’s dated.”

“I wouldn’t even consider it dating,” Dean says. “He sticks around long enough to get his dick wet, then never talks to them again.”

“I’m going to break his fucking legs if he hurts her,” I say. I close my eyes and lay my head back.

“I can’t figure out where her head went with the Angela bullshit,” Mason says. “Also, what the fuck were you thinking bringing her here? You know damn well that Angela was going to do what she could to hurt Sadie.”

“She fucking swore she would shut the fuck up this time. I didn’t realize Sadie could hear. She’s never said she could hear,” I explain. “Also, I didn’t know we woke her. She never said anything.”

“Well… Find some other whore to fill the void. Sadie is going to end up killing her,” Dean says. “She’s fucking strong when she’s angry.”

“I won’t lie,” Mason says with a grin. “That was kinda hot when she punched Angela.”

“You think everything she does is hot,” I laugh.

“Everything but go in that room with another man,” he frowns. “Also, can we talk about this morning when she was crying?”

“Yeah… I was talking to Todd about that,” I say. “He won’t ever say specifically what she says to him, but he did say that we need to make our feelings for her known, because she’s struggling.”

“I wish I knew what she said to him, but I’m glad she is comfortable talking to him. He does care about her,” I say. “I thought I was going to have to kill him for a moment today, though.”

“Yeah, she played us there,” Dean chuckles.

“We need to tell her our feelings before she falls for someone, and we lose our chance. I won’t ruin shit for her if she’s happy, even if it’s not with us,” I say.

“Honestly…” Mason says. “I think she got upset because Lance was with someone. I don’t think it had anything to do with Angela being a cunt.”

“That would mean she has feelings for Lance, at least,” Dean says.

“Think about it,” Mason says. “Anytime we have a girl over or even talk about girls, she gets noticeably upset. She always ends up having Alex, or one of the other piece-of-shit men she attracts, over. It’s like she hears about us with someone, so she copes with that by trying to force herself into a relationship. ”

“We also intentionally scare off her boyfriends,” I say. “Alex is just like a little roach and won’t go away.”

“We own a fucking company with the woman. We should be honest with how we feel about her,” Dean says.

“If she really does have feelings for us, we are hurting her every single time we have someone over, or are involved with any woman. All we are doing is filling a void, so it’s not like we are doing anything long-term with them.

We have all known for a long time that we love her.

We shouldn’t have let it get over twenty years into a friendship before we admit to her that we are more or less in love with her and have been since high school. ”

“Yeah. Todd called us dumbasses and said we are going to end up losing our chance,” I say.

“We need to give her a few days before we talk to her. She was pretty upset after the park,” Mason says. “We’ll see how tomorrow goes and go from there, maybe,” I suggest. “We can always talk to her before bed on Sunday if she has an okay day tomorrow.”

“It breaks my fucking heart to sit here and listen to her cry in that shower and not be able to help,” Mason says.

“That’s how I know it’s about us,” Dean says. “She has come to us about literally everything since we were four and five years old. I mean, shit, she called us freaking the fuck out when she started her period for the first time.”

“Yeah. I still fucking hate her parents,” I say. “It shouldn’t have been three teenage boys explaining to her what was happening. That girl was scared out of her fucking mind because they never taught her basic anatomy or let her be a part of Sex Education.”

“I’m surprised they don’t pitch a fit about her living with us,” Mason says.

“She has more of a backbone now. She will only put up with so much from them.” Dean says. “Plus, we’ve always played the part to keep them happy with us.”

“Man, they’d shit if they knew the things I want to do to their daughter,” I say.

We all stop talking when we hear a very clear and defined moan. “Son of a bitch,” I sigh.

“This is your fault,” Mason says to me.

Her moans are louder, but I’ve heard what she sounds like when she comes.

She’s not close yet. Sharing a wall means, in the dead of the night, I get to hear every little whimper she makes when she touches herself.

I know she has toys because I’ve heard the vibrations many times.

I had never been jealous of an inanimate object before until the night I heard her come for the first time with a wand.

They make a certain noise when they’re outside of the body versus inside, so it was obvious.

I don’t think she knows I can hear. She would probably freak out if she knew.

Her upbringing makes her feel ashamed when it comes to sexuality in general.

I know she’s not religious, but some of those habits are still holding strong.

Oh, if only her Mom and Dad could see her now…

getting off with a man she hardly knows just to punish me for fucking Angela too loudly.

One of these days, it’ll be her that we fuck too loudly; it’ll be her moaning and screaming when we make her come.

Come hell or high water, we will make this girl ours.
