She’s here. In front of me. I chuckle inwardly.

The universe just served her to me on a fucking platter, and it’s time to take what’s mine.

She’s even more perfect in person. And the way she handled Ryker was perfection.

He was testing her, and boy, did she pass.

He should have known better. I told him she was fire wrapped in silk.

My body is buzzing with excitement, and I have to force myself not to go snatch her up right now.

Too soon, and she will run. I have a plan, and when it’s done, she will be just as obsessed with me as I am with her.

I’ve had to sit back and watch her be with men who don’t treat her right, don’t do what she is asking of them like it’s so fucking hard to make her come, and it’s been hell.

I can’t hold it against her though. She didn’t know she’s already taken.

Everything is falling into place. She’s finally fed up with her current boyfriend.

As much as it sickened me to watch someone else touch her, I witnessed the entire thing.

He didn’t even make sure she came before she left.

He gave up too quickly. Mmm. Not me. I’ll take all fucking night if I have to.

Baby girl is about to find out why dick isn’t always best. At least not a dick that’s attached to a man.

A friend who owed me a substantial favor created SINS for my own twisted reasons, but realized he could actually profit off of it and is making it legit. But only I get to use it until then. For now, SINS is only for my little wolf and me to have some fun.

I won’t let you walk out of the woods without me this time, pup.

“Babe,” Sierra purrs.

“Yea?”

She sighs, and I force my gaze from my laptop screen.

She’s wearing a sheer lingerie piece. Which does nothing for me anymore.

I should have ended it the night I found her.

I’m such an asshole for letting Sierra believe I still wanted her.

Like I could ever want anyone else after I found my sweet lamb with hidden fangs.

I liked Sierra, sure, but never once did I get a feeling with her as strong as the night I saw Sam.

There was no coming unless her face was the one I was picturing.

Touching another woman disgusted me. I tried once after that night, but it felt as if my stomach had been tossed into a blender.

One knock sounds on my door before it’s pushed open.

Ryker knows everything, which means he knows there’s no fucking going on in this room.

“If you won’t fuck me, I’ll get it elsewhere,” Sierra lashes out, walking to Ryk and putting her hand on his shoulder. He pushes it off and steps away.

“Fuck no. Fuuuck no. Gross. I don’t do Ki’s sloppy seconds. She’s like my sister.” He looks at her with disgust, and she storms to the bathroom to grab her clothes and shoves past him, leaving.

I don’t stop her.

“Go end it, Ki, for fuck’s sake.”

I growl in frustration and put my obsession on my pillow and run after Sierra.

“Si,” I shout, stopping her from getting into her car. She crosses her arms, her nipples showing through the thin material. “It’s over.” My voice is void of any emotion.

“No shit,” she spits and slams her door shut, peeling out of our driveway. Well, that was easy.

Ryker is leaning back against my headboard with my laptop in his lap when I walk back into my bedroom. “We need to move,” I tell him. I check on Sam before closing the screen and taking it away from him.

“What do you mean we need to move?”

“Sam bought a house almost an hour away.”

“Fuck, Ki,” he grumbles, dragging his hands down his face. “You are insane. Like a literal fucking psycho.”

I smirk and flop down next to him. “You never asked where she moved to,” I nudge him and waggle my eyebrows.

“Enlighten me.”

“Close to home.”

He perks up. “I’m listening,” he replies, side-eyeing me.

He’s mentioned a few times recently how nice it would be if we could move closer to home again. His Grandma isn’t getting any younger, and he would tear himself apart if he wasn’t there for her in her final days. Which I hope is still a long time from now.

“There’s a house close to our old neighborhood up for sale and openings at the WRPD. We just have to be part-time SWAT officers. We could get in easily. Hell, they would probably beg us to transfer.”

“Does this house happen to be in the same neighborhood as your current obsession?”

I don’t like the way he says current as if I’ve done anything this dramatic before. She isn’t current…she’s forever. She also doesn’t know this yet. Baby steps.

“Close.”

“Let me guess…a street away?”

“Maybe,” I drawl out.

“Fuck it, let’s do it.”

I burst into laughter.

“You already did it, didn’t you?”

“Sure did. We have two weeks left here.”

He buries his face in his hands and shakes his head. “I’m only going along with it for my grandma, not because I approve of your nonsense.”

I cross my arms and glare at him. “I’m going to marry her one day. That is a promise.”
