39. Sam
Sam
I’m in love.
So madly, deeply, crazy in love. We’ve spent the past week with each other every single day and night.
Me getting to know her and her making it clearer daily that she knows everything about me.
My past, my habits, my favorites, and all of my little quirks.
It’s going to take some time catching up, but time is all we have.
I ask as many questions as I can and pay attention to everything she does.
She’s able to bring Shadow out to play now that Nyx is getting used to her.
However, she cannot wear the devil mask without angering Nyx and almost getting bitten.
It’s fun living with her, but I’m not sure if I want to leave my house or not, even though hers is bigger.
For now, she has some of her things here, and I have more of mine there than what she had already stolen.
She’s becoming not only my lover but my best friend.
We laugh together, cook together, shop together.
A relationship has never been this stress-free before.
She knows what I want or need before I voice it.
Which has a lot to do with her stalking my every movement for months, but nevertheless, it’s still handy for me.
I don’t have to ask for space, for her to pick up after herself, a random hug, nothing… she just does it. Every single time.
I certainly never have to ask to feel good.
Although sometimes I have to beg for the torture to end.
Like now, but I have a gag in my mouth, so my pleas sound muffled and slobbery.
She installed hooks in my ceiling for a torture device.
I’m dangling mid-air, spread out, gagged, and restrained with a vibrator on my clit that just…
keeps…buzzing. Every muscle in my body aches, and I keep screaming, but she won’t turn it off.
No…she’s watching a movie in bed while I’m actively coming all over myself and feeling like I’m going to die from climaxing too many times.
I was having a blah day and said I didn’t feel pretty.
I’ll never say that again unless I’m sex-deprived.
Finally, she pauses the show and comes to stand next to me, pushing the damp hair off my face. It’s hard to see her through the tears.
“You are the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on,” she says softly, wiping drool off my chin with her thumb.
I nod as fast as possible, agreeing with her.
“Are you going to be a good girl now?” I nod again, mumbling “Yes,” but it only comes out as an incoherent sound.
I sob when she stoops and laps at my entrance while the vibrator forces another orgasm from my body.
She lowers my bottom half, drops her shorts, and positions her pussy over mine, allowing the vibrator to claim us both.
I use what fleeting strength I have left to pull myself up to watch and then drag my eyes up to her face.
Her lips are parted as she watches herself grind against me, the small vibrator between our clits.
It’s too much. It’s too m-much I scream behind the gag, squirting against her.
The liquid making her glide easier as she comes with me.
She untangles herself from me and finally turns off the vibrator.
Never in my life would the sound of no buzzing excite me so much.
I’m dead weight in the harness. My body can’t take consciousness anymore.
Ki helps me out of the contraption and carries me to the tub, bathes me, dresses me, and tucks me against her in bed. All the while, my eyes remained closed.
I’m orgasmed out. World—off.
We both jolt awake in the middle of the night to the sound of growling and Nyx pacing from window to window.
“Stay here,” Kioni orders, grabbing her gun from the stand next to her and checking every inch of my house, both inside and out. Nyx stays by me the whole time and even lets Ki pet her when she returns to the bedroom, as if thanking her for heeding her warning.
“I’m going to look through the camera footage.” She grabs her laptop and climbs into bed. Then every angle of my yard is on her screen.
I lean over to watch, too. “Are you ever going to give me access to those?”
“Not now.” She’s in beast mode and it’s so fucking hot, but I know better than to interrupt her right now.
Watching the footage makes my eyelids grow heavy. I start drifting back to sleep with my head resting on her shoulder and petting Nyx until Ki speaks. “I didn’t find anything. There was a glimpse of a shadow, but it wasn’t enough for me to identify it.”
“Maybe it was an animal or something,” I suggest, snuggling back into my spot.
She twists her mouth in thought, looking to Nyx. “She’s smart. I don’t think she would growl like that for nothing.”
“What about for a coyote? They aren’t super common around here, but there’s been sightings before.”
She closes her laptop and places it on the stand next to her gun. “Maybe.” Nyx moves to our feet but stays on the bed. “She’s still trying to protect you,” she points out exasperated, opening her arms for me to cuddle with her again.
“She’s always trying to protect me.”
“Stay at my place tomorrow, please.” It’s not a suggestion, more of a command with a please at the end.
I place my hand on her cheek, turning her face to me, and kiss her. “We’ll stay at your place tomorrow.” My body goes into a comatose mode again when I’m wrapped around her. She’s always so warm and comfortable. “Good night,” I whisper.

Kioni does another swoop of my property before determining it’s safe for her to leave the next morning.
She has to leave before me most of the time.
I walk her to her bike, and she dips inside my robe to hug me.
The warmth I get from her is better than any piece of clothing I’ve ever worn.
I hum happily, returning her hug and smiling against her neck. “I love you.”
She pulls back and cradles my face in her hands, her eyes searching mine frantically. “I love you,” I repeat, loving the way her face lights up when she hears it.
“I fucking love you so much,” she replies so surely, like this is the moment she’s been waiting her entire life for. Her lips collide with mine until we are breathless and our lips are swollen. “You can’t tell me that and expect me to go to work. How can I leave you right now?”
I chuckle and kiss her cheek. “It will make tonight that much sweeter,” I tell her, grabbing her helmet and carefully shoving it over her head. “Come home to me, Officer Hayes.”
She squeezes my waist and rests her helmet against my forehead. “I’ll always come home to you, little wolf.”
Before she pulls out of my driveway, she taps her helmet, makes a heart with her hands, and then points to me.
I do the same and blow her a kiss, to which she catches it and shoves it in her pocket.
I stare after her until she’s out of sight before walking back inside.
She just left and I already cannot wait to be with her again.
This is what I’ve been searching for in a partner and why nobody else managed to snag my heart.
It wasn’t theirs to take. I want all of her, the good and the bad.
To weather every storm together until all that’s left are clear skies.
She’s…mine and I am all fucking hers.
Nerves make my heart race and stomach swish.
It’s time to tell my parents. They will love Kioni and accept us, but dropping a bombshell on your parents, regardless of how old you are or what it’s about, is always scary.
Nyx jumps into bed as I sit down to lie next to me, putting her head in my lap.
I call my mom, telling her to put it on speaker so my dad can hear too.
The conversation goes like this…
Me: “Hi, Mom! Hi, Dad!
Them: “Hi sweetie, is everything okay?”
Me: “It’s great, actually. That’s why I wanted to call you. I’m dating someone and I’m really happy. In love, type happy. And I wanted to tell you.”
Mom: “Keep going. We know there’s more to the story.”
Me: “Well…it’s a woman.” I hold my breath, my heart is galloping in my chest, and I’m a little nauseous.
Them: Laughing…
Dad: “It’s about time, honey.”
Mom: “When do we get to meet her?”
Me: Confusion forces the air I was holding to release in a quick exhale. “What do you mean?”
Dad: “Whenever we would see you with a past boyfriend you would react to them the same way one would a mangy dog…gross but kind of cute and you feel sorry for it so you compromise by letting it sleep on the floor instead of stinking up your bed so it had a safe place to sleep.”
Me: “Dad!” I shriek.
Mom: Laughing again. “It’s true, honey. We were wondering if you would end up with a woman or if you would just continue being happy alone.”
Me: “You guys should have told me. It would have saved me a lot of trouble.”
But I may not have found Kioni, and that would be the worst, so I guess everything happens for a reason. I tell them all about her, minus the fun stuff. They love her already and asked me to bring her to visit soon.
Nyx licks my cheek when I flop back onto my bed, smiling as if I’d just won the lottery or something.
Well, I guess I did. Only the lottery it not money or material things.
It’s the love of my life and the best family I could have ever asked for.
I wrap my arms around Nyx and squeal into her thick fur.
“Everything is falling into place, baby girl.”
I bask in the happiness for a while longer before finally getting up to get ready for the day and out of my robe.
There’s no point in doing your hair and makeup all pretty to do yoga.
A ponytail and workout clothes make for the quickest mornings and leave even more time to do other things.
I enjoy mornings that aren’t rushed and I can get housework and laundry done before I have to leave.
“I’ll be back to pick you up after work,” I tell Nyx, giving her a smooch on the snout after bringing her inside from using the bathroom.
There’s no need to pack her a bag anymore.
Kioni bought her an enormous bed and everything else she’d need to remain at her house.
The memory makes me smile again as I walk to my car.
I laughed so hard when I saw how huge Nyx’s bed was.
She said it was to convince my fur baby to stop getting into bed with us in the middle of the night to steal me away.
It’s not all the time, but when she does, it’s between us, forcing us apart.
It takes a moment for my eyes to adjust after I take my sunglasses off and walk inside the studio.
The sun is beautiful today, making me wish I was outside by the water under our shade trees with Kioni and Ryker.
I hope that whenever Ryker gets a girlfriend, we can all get along and continue being a family.
“Sam, I’m so sorry, but I have to rush out of here. The babysitter called and said Kayden got sick, so I need to go pick him up,” Tille, the Zumba instructor, blurts out as she’s speed walking out the door.
“I hope he feels better,” I yell after her.
She looks back, giving me an apologetic smile.
I put my phone, sunglasses, and water bottle in the back and grab the large broom.
Not everyone is polite and wears indoor-only shoes when they come in here, so I’m sure there’s dirt scattered all over the floor from where they were dancing.
Before my clients pile in, I mop some sections where someone with muddy shoes was dancing, and then turn on soft music and dim the lights a little.
My first class of the day will be the most fun.
It’s for my advanced clients, so that means I get to show off my skills with people who can follow along.
I’ll end the day with a relaxing beginner class, then go home and create beautiful chaos with my girlfriend.
It’s a perfectly balanced lifestyle now.
Calm and quiet at work, crazy and wild at home.
Now it’s not full-tilt naked and rope-bound every night, but the fun outside of that is what makes it the best. The laughter we share is just as satisfying as the orgasms.
My muscles are tired by the time my third class is over.
A massage by Kioni and a hot bath with bubbles sounds amazing.
Although her massages usually end with her face between my thighs and me screaming her name.
She prefers I let her take care of me now, rather than anyone at the spa touching me.
It’s fine by me. I rather enjoy happy endings.
There’s no need to lock up behind me. Jade is inside preparing for her single evening class.
I’m looking down at my phone texting Ki on the way to the side parking lot where my car is.
I manage to type out…Can’t wait to see — before there’s a presence behind me.
It all happens too fast. I look up from my phone, and then a hand is covering my mouth and nose, and an arm is around my chest, pinning me to their body.
The items in my hands crash to the pavement.
I can’t breathe.
Red.
I tug at the hand blocking my air, scratching my skin in any attempt to pry the fingers off. I can’t b-breathe. Darkness creeps into my vision, and I glimpse the glow of a mask in the reflection of my driver’s side window. Kioni wouldn’t hurt me like this.
Red. I scream. The word echoing in my mind, unable to escape.
My hands lose their grip and fall limply to my sides, and my knees give out. The ground shift beneath me, and then I’m lying down, but my mind and body are too weak to move. To fight.
Kioni wouldn’t do this.
But I know she will find me.
She always finds me.
