Getting Spencer....

Bane’s eyes narrowed as he remembered that there had been a tunnel running underneath the warehouse.

He found it thirty years ago and he had no idea if it was still there or not, maybe it had caved in from the repairs.

Bane shrugged and decided he would check it out.

Perhaps that could be his way inside the warehouse.

He moved slowly and carefully to the area where the tunnel came out.

Dressed all in black he knew he wouldn’t be seen but he was careful on purpose.

He wanted to get inside the warehouse and grab Spencer then get away without anyone seeing him.

Bane found the old opening and reached for his flashlight.

He stepped inside. The air in the tunnel felt damp and smelled earthy.

Back in the day, the air had been the same but many years had passed between then and now.

He had to tread very carefully as the tunnel might have been damaged over the years.

As he walked through he could see piles of loose dirt all along the way.

Every once in a while he would pause to figure out where he was and at one point he even heard voices above him.

That’s when he stopped to listen to the voices above him.

He could only hear bits and pieces but one of the voices was Spencer Wagner’s.

He knew where this tunnel ended and it wasn’t far from where he stood right now.

He also knew where the office Spencer had been speaking in was.

One of things Bane was known for was once he had found a place he always remembered it.

And he’d been here many times growing up.

He waited until the second voice left the room and silently made his way to the end of the tunnel.

At the end of the tunnel was a staircase that led up to the first level and that opened to the office he knew was above him.

He walked up the stairs quietly and paused at the door leading to the office area.

Finally, inside the building, he waited to make his move. He checked through the hidden peephole.

Spencer sat alone at his desk with his back to Bane.

Scrolling his phone, Spencer wasn’t paying attention as Bane quietly opened the door and slipped inside the room and snuck up behind him.

It wasn’t until the cold hard steel of his gun being shoved into the back of his neck that Spencer became aware that Bane was even there.

Bane leaned close to Spencer’s ear and whispered, “If you make a sound, you’ll be dead before anyone hears you. Do you get what I’m saying?”

Spencer swallowed hard and nodded slowly. He put his phone down carefully and put his hands on top of the desk.

Bane grabbed him up by the collar of his shirt. “Put your hands behind your back.”

When Spencer put his hands behind his back Bane cuffed them and pushed him toward the tunnel. Before he stepped into the tunnel, Bane took the time to slap packing tape over his mouth. He didn’t want Spencer to be able to call for help. Then he pushed him through the doorway.

When he stepped through the door, Spencer took a deep breath through his nose, stunned. Apparently, he didn’t know about the tunnel.

After he closed the door behind them, Bane pushed the other man down the stairs and into the tunnel.

Spencer stumbled through the tunnel. Finally, when they reached the end to come out into the night he looked around to stare at the distance between them and the tunnel.

Spencer slowly turned his head to see Bane for the first time.

His eyes widened slightly as he took in the sight of the man that had literally kidnapped him.

Bane didn’t hesitate as he pushed him farther into the woods until they reached the back path. He maneuvered Spencer along the path and soon they reached Owens place. Once there, Bane pressed his finger into Spencer’s neck.

Closing his eyes, he slumped forward.

A half hour later...

Spencer groaned as he woke up. He opened his eyes and became frantic when he tried to stand but his feet found air and no ground. He tried to make noise but because of the tape he couldn’t.

Bane grinned. “Oh, pardon me. Let me help you.” He ripped the tape from his mouth, causing Spencer to yelp in pain.

“Holy fuck man, that hurt.” Blood dripped from his mouth as he demanded, “What the hell are you doing to me?” Then he looked around the room, his eyes widening as he saw the tools of Bane’s trade. “Where am I? What is this place?”

Bane crossed his arms over his chest and studied him for a moment, then he opened his arms. He spun around and viewed the entire room. “This is my place, my playroom if you like.”

“Who the hell are you?” Spencer’s eyes widened as he stared at Bane.

Bane walked closer to where he was hanging then he leaned in closer. “I’m the one you tried to blow up earlier tonight. Maybe you know my name? People call me Bane.”

Spencer’s eyes widened and he shuddered as a drop of sweat rolled down his temple. “Bane Jessin? Are you fucking kidding me?”

“Oh, you have heard of me then?” Bane stepped back and nodded. “That’s a good thing.”

“Why is that?” Spencer asked fearfully.

“Because you must also know what I can do.” Bane growled. “You and me are gonna have a little chat. If you lie to me, I will make you regret it. If you try to pass the buck, so to speak I will make you pay for it. So right now, you have a choice to make Mr. Wagner.”

Spencer trembled and asked, “You know who I am?”

Bane smiled but his eyes were still cold. “Yeah, I know who you are and you know who I am. Now that the introductions are over, maybe we can begin our little chat.”

“What do you want to chat about?” Spencer asked weakly.

“Well, my first question is why did you plant a bomb in my car?” Bane growled.

Spencer looked confused as he replied, “I didn’t, I swear.”

“I got you on dash cam putting a bomb on the engine of my car,” Bane insisted. “We were at your brother’s place and you came out of the trees and put a bomb onto my car engine.”

Spencer’s face visibly paled and he looked sick. “T-that was your—car?” His voice broke and he turned almost green. “I d-didn’t know whose car it was. I-I swear I didn’t.”

Bane crossed his arms over his chest and glared at him. “And you didn’t care either, did you?”

Spencer now looked puzzled as he frowned. “How is it that you are still alive? That bomb should have smoked you and everyone in your vehicle.”

Bane nodded at him. “It almost did just that but my vehicles have special safety guards in them. That’s what saved our lives but it won’t save yours.”

Spencer stared at him for a long time. “What do you want from me?”

“I want to know why you thought you could attach a bomb to my car and blow me and my friends all to hell?” Bane told him in a conversational tone. “I mean you didn’t know me.”

Spencer shook his head. “You were in Jasper’s house and from the look of it you trashed it and he wasn’t even home.”

Bane smiled. “How did you know he wasn’t home? You didn’t even come inside, nor did you ask us why we were there.”

Spencer paled when he realized he knew Jasper wasn’t there. “I just knew ok?”

Bane shook his head. “Don’t start lying to me or trying to pass off the truth. Because you will tell me the truth.”

Spencer snapped his mouth shut and just glared at him. Or he tried to glare but the man’s eyes held too much fear to really glare at anyone convincingly.

Bane walked over to a cabinet and using a key he had in his pocket he pulled the doors wide open. As if shopping for supplies, Bane looked at all the tools of his former trade.

James just raised an eyebrow at his torture tools.

Spencer stopped swinging and he glared at him. “When I get free, I’m going to kill you.”

Bane just smiled. “You can try but you’ll be the one face down in the dirt.” He laid the knife back down on the table. Then he walked back to the cabinet, pulled out a pair of gloves and donned them.

James heard the snap of rubber and he did panic a little as he believed there would be blood now. Lots and lots of blood. “What are you doing?”

Bane just smiled and said, “I was going to use Genghis. Then I remembered your abhorrence of blood spilling. Then I remembered that I had Elvira here at the house.”

James cocked his head at him and quipped sarcastically, “You cannot be serious.”

“Sure, I mean back in my day she was hot. And also deadly. And her favorite game was Truth or Dare.”

James looked puzzled. “I seem to remember that she was sort of a slut and a great comedian.”

Bane scoffed, “Yes to both. But I won’t argue the point of her wisdom. She was a fucking genius. So... it’s Tit or Tat.” He laughed.

Spencer gaped at him. “You are insane!”

Bane nodded. “All the best killers are, you know?”

James broke character and barked out a laugh.

Bane ignored it, although his eyes did show amusement.

“So we’re going to play a special game of Truth or Dare.

” He grabbed a small box from the cabinet and strode back to Spencer.

He looked him in the eye and said, “This is going to be very unpleasant for both of us but more so for you, I suppose. But since you do not care to tell me anything, we shall do it this way.” Then he pulled the other man’s belt off and pulled out as much slack from his pants as he could, then he reached into the box and pulled something out of it then shoved it down Spencer’s jeans.

He positioned it so it was pressed against his lower belly and secured it by the waistband of Spencer’s boxers.

It also remained too close to the man’s nuts.

Spencer snarled at him, “What the hell are you doing?”
