Wag More Next Door

Maggie Holland comes to Bluebell Springs to catch her breath after calling off her wedding, hoping the charming mountain town will help her reset before she faces her well-meaning but overbearing family.

Her vacation rental host is local police chief Luke Mason, a chronically grumpy next-door neighbor who sees her poorly trained pup as trouble enough to rethink the reservation and who is openly suspicious of the wedding dress hidden in her car.

The town is too small for them to keep their distance, and sharp remarks start turning into lingering looks as Maggie finds more in Luke than a cold front.

Even her dog is smitten, which would be simpler if Maggie’s own feelings were not following.

She still knows a getaway is not the same as a life, yet her heart is no longer honoring the end date she gave Bluebell Springs.
