CHAPTER FIFTEEN
KAYLAH
I spent most of my time at university hiding away in my room last year when I wasn’t doing something related to Hockey, so I guess I’m still learning the fact that things can really jump from one leap to another when I spend time outside, especially with other people.
For example, meeting a new friend isn’t just meeting a new friend here.
It’s meeting a new friend to go out for food and drinks, bumping into my co-captain who I’m having sex with on the side, and his…
brother who’s the complete opposite to him, having my new friend’s roommate pick up keys which soon turns into her joining, and then having a good chunk of the rest of the Hockey team joining as well because this is Wild and no one at the university is ever really that far from each other here.
We now have a very full table, and as much as I’m trying not to be awkward, I’m well aware of the fact that a lot of the team still haven’t taken to me, so I don’t know what I’m expected to say.
Instead, I turn to my phone for comfort and find myself pulling up an empty text thread.
Me: Relax.
He’s been more on edge than usual today.
But that’s not something I should know.
Julius: Don’t tell me to relax.
Me: Relax.
Julius: No.
Me: Your brother seems cool.
Julius: He is.
Me: Very different from you.
Julius: That doesn’t sound complimentary to me.
Me: It’s not.
Julius: Good.
It’s just one word, yet it sums up the dynamic we have that we both find attractive for some reason.
I shift in my seat as the tingle I was anticipation makes its way to a certain lower region.
Me: Don’t start.
Julius: What?
“If there are people from the team coming, I can go meet them outside and bring them in.”
Sierra said no one’s coming just yet, so I have to take the opportunity when I can.
“They’ll be like fifteen minutes,” she says without looking in my direction.
“That’s cool,” I respond anyway.
Me: Tell them you’ll come too.
Julius: Is than an innuendo?
Me: Leave the jokes to your brother.
Julius: Damn.
“I’ll come too,” Julius says and he follows my lead as I stand up from the table.
I’ve heard about the second Sports hall that’s around here, for sports like Basketball, and I don’t waste time pulling Julius along with me so we can go and check it out.
“We have like five minutes,” I say when we arrive.
I haven’t been here before but I guide us into a room that turns out to be the Basketball court, and quickly spot the area in the corner where they keep all the balls.
I almost laugh at the fact that it’s dark, which seems to be the type of place Julius and I are attracting these days, but instead I watch him.
“Why haven’t you taken this off?” I demand, tugging at his jeans.
“Why do I like this so much?” he says as he hurriedly follows my instructions.
“What?”
“When you talk to me like that,” he answers. “In that tone specifically. And with that stern expression.”
I think we’re figuring some things out about ourselves and it’s crazy that it’s with each other.
“Probably the same reason I like it.”
“Why’s that?”
“I don’t know,” I say honestly. “Now be a good boy for me and make me come right now.”
“Yes, Captain.”
There’s a tall bag where all the balls sit, and he picks me up with ease, resting me against it so my back hits the wall.
In just a few moments he’s entering into me and he mutters out a loud, “Beautiful,” while his eyes roam my entire face.
And then he slams his dick in and out of my pussy and I cry out in pleasure.
I don’t waste time in fucking him back as he begins pounding into me.
My back slaps against the wall while his dick slaps against my pussy and it sounds like music to my ears.
It feels better than I could have ever expected from sex, and suddenly I don’t care we’re in a random sports hall and we might get caught.
I’ve studied his face enough at this point to know when he’s close to coming and he’s almost there, but my orgasm is still finding its way.
He acts quickly by releasing me from the wall, turning me around and bending me over so now my face is smothered by all these balls.
But I can’t even react to how they feel or smell because his mouth takes my pussy, and as soon as that tongue comes out, I know straight away I’m in trouble.
I moan ferociously as he sucks what feels like the life out of my pussy, my face playing a dance with these balls as I let my body fall apart.
It’s only a matter of time before I’m squirting out what feels like a year’s worth of liquid, but Julius doesn’t hesitate to lap it all up like it’s his only form of nourishment.
His mouth vibrates into my pussy suddenly, and I can immediately tell it’s that growl of his, so I reach my hand out to find his dick and wait impatiently for his come to slide onto my fingers.
It does so in a large burst, and I take as much of it as I can before turning around and letting him watch as I suck it off each finger one by one.
His dark eyes bore into me while I swallow him with pride, and I love how in a moment like this we don’t have to say anything because our bodies have said it all.
The walk back starts off quiet, but I do a double take when he brings it to an end by saying, “How you liking the food tonight?”
“Can’t go wrong with Mexican food.”
“That’s one good thing about this place, so many options for food.”
I can’t think where this conversation is going, but I also have no idea what to say after what we just did. All my experiences of sex involved little conversation.
It never bothered me at the time because none of them cared much for me, and I never cared much for them either. I’ve always known that to be casual sex.
Having never been in a relationship before, I don’t know anything outside of casual sex, so maybe it’s best to keep things familiar.
Anything outside of that just causes way too many thoughts I don’t need, when I already have more than enough of them in my head.
“Sounds like you’re very hungry right now,” I say when I realise I haven’t responded in a while.
“Oh, I’m full, believe me.”
I chuckle at that, because hey, I would be pretty offended if he wasn’t.
But then I see us nearing closer to the restaurant, so I stop in front of him and say, “We can just leave it at sex, you know? In fact, we should,” I finish with a nod, and I think it’s a fair point.
The sex is out of this world. I see no need to mess with that.
“Why’s that?”
“Because we’re getting what we need from each other. And we’re finally getting along because of it,” I explain.
“Sure, get along.” His face looks…distant, and I’m not sure if there’s anything else he plans on saying because we’re back at the restaurant.
Julius looks around to spot any familiar faces while I bring my phone out, the time telling me we obviously took a little longer than five minutes.
“I think we missed the team,” he says.
“We took a while.” I show him the time and he lets out a scoff.
I don’t know why we keep thinking we can fit a whole lot of sex into a minimal time frame.
The silence resumes as we walk into the restaurant, many eyes from our table instantly on us.
“Captain and Captain!” Daniel’s excited voice is just one of the many coming from the table at this time. It’s a lot of people for what was just supposed to start out as a two person lunch for us both.
“I thought you were meeting them out front.” The tone coming from Sierra is sharp.
“Yeah, sorry, we went to go check out the other Sports hall. I didn’t realise it took so long.”
“How is it?” Jalissa says.
“Yeah, it’s good.”
“Hey, I saved your seat,” she says, gesturing at it.
“Wow, thanks.” I slide back in, noticing the girl beside her who I recognise from the party.
“This is Mimi, my other housemate,” she tells me. “We’re like the only two non Hockey players here.”
“Hey,” I say.
“Hey, I love your earrings.”
“Thanks, I love yours too.” I wince immediately when I realise my error. “You’re not wearing any.”
They both laugh, but it doesn’t seem like it’s based on any malicious intent.
When Jalissa says, “Oh, that is hilarious,” I take my own advice and relax a little bit.
“My bad. I usually do think before I speak.”
“It’s funny, don’t worry,” Mimi says, then watches the table. “I’m telling you, it’s times like these I wish I played Hockey.”
“It’s not too late, girl,” Sierra pitches in, but her main conversation seems to be with another group.
“Yeah, nah, I’m happy with my Basketball.”
“Your Dad must really hate that, right?” she says.
“He’s always trying to get me on the Hockey ship. But it’s always been Basketball for me.”
“You play Basketball?” I ask, my mind not far off from what I just did on her Court.
“Yeah, that’s my thing.”
“I’ve been meaning to watch it a bit more,” I say. It’s the truth, but this whole evening feels like a prank.
“I would definitely recommend. No offence to my Dad but I wouldn’t want to be on a team where he’s my coach. Bit too much pressure for me, which is why I like that we’re both doing separate things.”
“Oh, is your dad Coach Campbell?”
“Yeah, but I see he’s conveniently forgetting to tell people he has a daughter called Mimi.”
“No, I think he did mention it. I feel like I’ve just taken in so much information I forgot, sorry.”
“No, don’t be sorry. I was joking, even. I would prefer if he keeps me out of conversations.”
Mimi laughs, then says, “I’m the only one who doesn’t do a sport.”
“Love that for you, cause you don’t want to.”
“Yeah, not gonna lie, I don’t. But you know I’ve been your biggest supporter and I will continue to be.”
“How long have you guys been friends?” I ask.
“We met pretty early on last year.”
Jalissa nods at her friend’s words. “Yeah, we just vibed straight away and that was it.”
“That’s cute,” I say, meaning it. I’m not too afraid to admit I would like something like that for myself.
“I love friendship. And now we have one,” Jalissa says to me, which sends a warm feeling through me.
But it is funny when Mimi responds with, “J, stop scaring the girl.” I can tell she’s joking, but she still continues with, “Isn’t it only your first time hanging out together?”
“Yeah, but I don’t mind,” I say.
“Really? Blink if you need help.”
Their laughter when I blink makes me realise that I’m actually enjoying my time with these girls.
It’s a discovery that keeps me in a good mood the rest of the night, even during my quiet walk back home with Julius, an idea that thankfully didn’t seem weird to anyone else seeing as we’re both co-captains who live in the same house.
If there’s one thing I appreciate him, it’s that I know he’s not racking his brain trying to think of a topic that will swoop over this silence and save it. It’s not a silence that needs saving, it just exists and I love the fact that we both can exist comfortably inside of it.
He opens the front door for me when I get home, and I expect him to vanish into his room immediately while I get up the stairs, so I’m surprised to hear his voice, and even more surprised to acknowledge what comes out of it. “Passion or Feather?”
That’s how we end up in his room, with Feather playing in the background as we try our hardest to keep our hands off each other. It’s something we manage to achieve halfway through the movie, which I take as an opportunity to satisfy my curiosity on something.
“Wait, I didn’t actually know that you like musicals.”
“I didn’t actually know that you like musicals.”
“No, but I mean…are you enjoying this right now?”
“Are you?”
“Stop flipping my words like that!”
“I genuinely want to know, are you enjoying watching this?”
“I am, because it’s one of my favourites.”
“Then that’s all that matters.”
“But if you’re not…”
“I do have a brother who does this for a living, you know?”
He makes a fair point, and the more I think about it, the more it makes sense. He gathered today that we have a common interest, and now he’s just putting it to use. Why watch the same movie from two different locations when we can just watch it here together?
For a second, I let my mind wander to the possibility he put this on just for me, the same thought I had before I asked the question.
But that wouldn’t make any sense, especially not for us, when we’ve had an unspoken agreement for a while now that sex is all we want and need from each other.
All we have outside of it is Hockey, and now I guess we’ve finally found something else we have in common.
Julius’s eyes pierce into mine, studying me as he asks, “What’s other genres do you love?”
“Um…Thriller and Romance. But…”
“But what?”
So, I do love Thrillers, but when I watch one, I have to balance out the darkness of it by putting on a Rom Com after. Meanwhile, I can get through Romance movies back to back. Maybe too much information but just in case you were wondering.”
“Nah, it’s good information.”
“What are yours?”
“I like pretty much anything.”
“But what do you love?” I ask, right before bursting into laughter at a funny scene on the screen.
“I might be figuring that one out,” he says, while giving me a weird look that I just can’t decipher.
It shows up multiple times throughout our watch session, but his eyes have nothing but desire left in them once the movie is done and I’m working my tongue around his dick, taking it fully into my mouth and swallowing every last drop of his cum when he explodes.
