The Wednesday Before . . . #2

The waitress came over to take our drink and food orders. I listened to Kee make her order for Cajun, blue cheese wings and a mixed drink for her as well as an order of lemon pepper wings and a mixed drink for Lula Ann. My head angled to the side for a beat before I gave her my order.

“Since she got the Cajun, blue cheese wings, I’ll get the mild wings, two beers, and you can change her mix drink to a water or Arnold Palmer. She won’t be drinking tonight,” I told the waitress.

Her head drew back before she glanced at Kee. “Oh, okay. I can change that if you want.”

There was a pause like she wanted Kee to say something. When she didn’t, the waitress finished tapping on her tablet before she told us that our order would be up in no time. She gave a final glance to Kee, then walked off.

“You know I can have a drink here and there. We are celebrating,” Kee whined. Her pout was cute as fuck and deserved a kiss.

My tongue requested entry, and her teeth separated to allow it.

I pulled back from the kiss before it deepened.

“Babe, I understand that we are celebrating, but I don’t think you should drink.

That’s like actively working against yourself when you’re on dialysis.

Why risk dehydration, empty calories, and potential blood pressure issues?

You have fluid restrictions for a reason, and we’re not going to get into your medication. ”

She gawked at me with tight eyes. It was hard to tell if she was upset or not. If I had to tell it, she wasn’t. “It sounds like someone did some research.”

She was right. I did. My mother told me that if I wanted to be with Mazikeen that I needed to understand her needs and limitations when it came to the type of lupus that she had.

What my mother needed and what Kee needed could look very different.

I took heed to what she said and went on a deep dive about lupus nephritis.

I chuckled while my shoulder lifted toward my ear. “A nigga has to stay on point about his woman and her health.” My lips went to her ear. In a low voice, I spoke. “In case you haven’t picked it up by now, we are in a relationship. Is that a problem for you?”

She pulled back. Her expression was seductive. “I have no problem with that at all.”

That was what I wanted to hear. The waitress came out with our drinks, set them on the table, then told us that our food was up next. Rome and Lula Ann returned to the section seconds after she left.

“Maz, did you order my wings?” Lula Ann asked her after she took a sip from her mixed drink. “I’m hungry.”

“I bet you are,” Kee quipped back with a giggle.

“Yes, I ordered your lemon pepper wings. While we are all sober and chill, I want to make a toast to my best friend, Lula Ann. You are so amazing at what you do. You open new worlds to people who didn’t know that they needed them open.

You are so much more than a travel agent. You’re a dream ambassador.”

Rome kissed Lula Ann’s neck then lifted his glass. “To my baby on being awesome as fuck! I’m so proud of you, baby. We should all take a trip together somewhere.”

“Yeah, that’s a good idea. We can do a weekend couples’ getaway to celebrate the official start of me and my baby’s relationship,” I suggested. “What you think, baby?” I asked Kee.

Her cheeks rose with her smile. “I think that would be great. We can leave on a Friday afternoon and come back Sunday, if that’s alright.”

Lula Ann bounced in her seat. “Yes, I know the perfect place, and it’s less than an hour away. It’s such a cute place. It’s a lakefront, tiny house type of place. We can grill or go out to the restaurants not too far away.”

Kee sat up. “Oh, I think I know exactly where you’re talking about.” Her head snapped in my direction. “Do you know how to grill?”

“I do, baby. Rome and I know how,” I assured her. “Lula, set it up and let us know when so we can make sure we have what we need.”

I’d do anything to keep the smile that dressed Mazikeen’s face. “Okay, good! Y’all can do the grilling. Lula Ann and I will do all the sides and dessert,” she said before she gave my lips a quick peck.

Our food came out just as we all got settled. For the rest of the night, we ate, chilled, talked, and Kee showed me that she could have been a fucking stripper in a past life and this one. I wondered if she could bounce on a dick like she danced on it.

A Very Short Time Later

She Can . . .

“Fuck, Kee!” My baby proved that she could indeed bounce on my dick just like she danced on it. She proved it that night after the club and many nights after that. “Your tight-ass pussy.”

The smirk she gave when she looked over her shoulder from her reversed cowgirl position told me that she knew that her pussy was a heavenly devil. She was sexy as hell!

Smack! Her hiss and moan to the feeling of my ass smack made my dick harden more than I thought it could ever be. “Falcon, right there.”

I gripped her hips, then thrusted upward. Our bodies were in perfect sync. The way her pussy gripped my dick felt like it was created just for me.

Outside of work, my baby and I were locked at the hip.

If I wasn’t at her spot, she was at mine.

We had keys to each other’s dwellings and vehicles.

I sat with my baby during dialysis at least twice a week.

Wednesdays were a given because I split time with my mother and her.

My mother told me that I didn’t need to sit with her, so within thirty minutes of our arrival, she rushed me off to my baby.

She spent a lot of time at my parents’ house, too, in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

A few days after Kee and I made it official, I introduced her and Lula Ann to Dove.

I probably should have given that more thought because I didn’t realize how much their personalities would mesh. Those women together were nothing nice.

A hiss left my mouth at the abrupt tightness of Kee’s pussy around my dick.

The shit wouldn’t let up, so I knew it was time for her to let her nut loose.

I used my core muscle to lift my back from the bed, wrapped my arms around the front of her body, then gripped her breast. When my fingers pinched her nipples, that was all that she wrote.

“Falcon! Oh, God! Oh, God!” She wet me the fuck up, and in return, I let go of my nut.

Our breathing was heavy. She lifted her body from mine before she collapsed to the side dramatically. I smacked her ass. “Come on so you can get in a bath.”

This was a ritual for us. After the first few times that we had sex, her joint pain was a lot.

Neither of us wanted that for her, but in the same breath, neither of us wanted to not have sex.

Ironically, my mother gave her a suggestion to take baths after our grown folk activities.

When Kee told me that my mother told her that was what worked for her and my father, I was over the damn conversation.

“Can’t we just take a nap?” Her voice was whiny. My baby was spoiled as fuck in the short time that we’d been together. From what she and Lula Ann told me, her parents spoiled her before their deaths as well.

I stood from the bed, then smacked her ass. “Nope! Get up, Kee. You’re not going to go to sleep, then wake up talking about you can’t walk. Let’s go.”

She shrieked when I abruptly lifted her from the bed. Her arms wrapped around my neck tightly. “Can you make me one of your sandwiches after I get out, please?”

I kissed her temple after a light chuckle. “Yes, baby. I’ll make you a fried bologna and egg sandwich.”

She spent the night at my house one night, and I made the sandwich for breakfast. Since then, she asked for one at least twice a week.”

I set her on the bench that she had inside of her bathroom. She cleared her throat. “Are you ready for the meeting tomorrow?”

I peeked over my shoulder at her while I prepared her bath. “I’m always ready for meetings. Are you ready?”

Tomorrow was the day that I presented my proposal to the corporate big wigs at the property management company that she worked for.

In my opinion, this meeting was a formality because they’d had my proposal for a while.

They knew whether they wanted to accept it, reject it, or negotiate terms by this time.

The meeting tomorrow would be the place to ask their questions and finalize their decision with me.

“Of course, I’m ready. I just hope that they don’t say anything since me and you are in a relationship. People are funny,” she said with a worried tone.

Once I had the water temperature where I wanted it, I turned to face her.

“Mazikeen, you went through an entire RFP process. I’m not the only property solutions company that sent in a proposal.

I could see if you only presented my company to them, but you didn’t, love.

What we have personally going on has nothing to do with our businesses. ”

She huffed lowly. “I know, I know. This is just new territory for me. I’ve never been in a relationship with anyone that I worked with or was connected to professionally.”

I slowly walked to her and stood in front of her. I bent forward and kissed her lips. “Well, now you are. Let’s get into this bath so I can feed you and we can get in bed. We both have meetings in the morning.”
