Chapter 11 Jahmir

ELEVEN

JAHMIR

I was so happy to see my baby pulling up in her blue Tesla.

It had been two hours since we got off the phone, and the shit had been on me heavy.

She got out with a small bag and her purse.

Her eyes were red. A nigga had shit set up for her, but I put it off until she was feeling up to it.

As soon as she crossed the threshold, I handed her a glass of chilled wine.

She took it, gulped it down, and crashed into my arms. I kicked the door closed and picked her up.

I sat on the sofa and let her straddle me and cry as I rubbed her back.

Besides her sobs, the crackling from my fireplace was the only thing that could be heard.

I didn’t know what was hurting, but I wanted to kill whoever it was.

My jaw clenched just thinking of who it might be.

It was time for me to really find out who her husband was.

“I’m sorry for coming over here like this. I know you had everything planned for me.” She lifted her head.

I wiped her tears, “Fuck all that. We can do that whenever you’re up to it. What’s going on with you?”

“Nothing, I’m better now that I’m here with you.”

“Tatiyonna, you can’t come over here and cry on me like that and don’t expect me to try to handle it.”

“I don’t want you to handle anything. I’ll be fine. I just needed to get that cry out. I’ve been holding it in for a while.”

I looked at my watch, “Lift up.” I patted her ass.

I went upstairs, came back with two bags, and placed them at her feet.

“Do you think you can be ready in an hour? I have a place I want to take you to and it’s the next town over so no one will see us.”

She pulled a dress and a pair of shoes out.

“This is beautiful.”

“Just like you.”

“My hair.” She raked her fingers through her curls.

“Nothing is wrong with your hair, Tatiyonna.”

“My makeup. I can’t wear a dress this sexy and not have my makeup on. Please,” she whined.

“Aight, get dressed, and I’ll stop by your house so you can throw some makeup on. Don’t take long. I would hate for your husband to pull up and see me.”

“What are you going to do?” she teased.

I raised my eyebrow, “Depends on what type of time he’s on. I’m nothing to fuck with,” I warned her.

She gathered her stuff and went to get dressed.

I went behind her to my bedroom so I could get ready as well.

When Tatiyonna emerged from the closet, the green dress hit off her chocolate skin so well.

She had her skin oiled up, and she had sprayed on the Kilian perfume I had in her bag as well.

I licked my lips, and I tightened the tie.

“We might not make it with you looking that muthafuckin’ good.”

“No, you’ve got to take me now. I’m curious where we’re going. I’ll be complete once I get my makeup on.”

“You’re beautiful without it, but I get it. Let me put my shoes on, and we’ll get out of here.”

Because it was my girl’s special night, I decided to drive the double R.

I opened the door for her and let her slide in.

I got in and made the drive to her house.

As she went in, I patiently waited for her, hoping that her nigga pulled up.

Not that he would be able to see me behind the tint, but I would be able to see his bitch ass.

Within fifteen minutes, she was walking out glowing.

“You ready?”

“Ready?”

I turned on some old school R I always brushed the shit off like this was just a fuck thing.

I knew deep in my soul I wanted this woman.

The thing holding me back was her husband.

Letting her play with my heart wasn’t something I wanted to deal with.

I knew the shit that I was capable of doing to someone who hurt me, and she was way too precious a jewel.

Now her nigga, that was still out with the jury.

“What?” she laughed as I broke the kiss.

“You better be careful,” I said.

“What’s in the bag?” she took a sip of champagne.

“Scoot back and lean back,” I told her.

I reached under the water, grabbed her leg and placed it on my chest as I grabbed the box out of the gift bag, removing a three-karat white gold tennis anklet. I clasped it on her and kissed her feet.

“Wanted to add something to these toes. I thought it would be sexy when your feet are on my shoulders as well.”

“It’s beautiful. Thank you.”

We bathed and got out so she could open the remainder of her gifts.

Besides my sister and my mother when she was alive, I had never spent money on a woman like I did with Tatiyonna.

Seeing her smile with each bag I placed in front of her did my heart some good.

She was worth it, and I wanted her to know it.

“I feel like I owe you an explanation after you did all this to make me feel special today. I decided to go to marriage counseling with my husband, but it was a disaster,” Tatiyonna said.

My jaw clenched, but I kept my cool. I knew what I was getting myself into when I put my face in her pussy. Was I mentally ready for her share her pussy with that nigga again? Fuck no.

“You’re quiet,” she said.

“Nah, I’m listening.”

“This doesn’t mean I’m taking him back, Jah.”

“Shit, I ain’t worried. We’re doing what we’re doing. I’m not tripping.” I ran my hand over my waves.

“Why do you always remind me of that?”

“Shit, I got to say it to remind my muthafuckin’ self. It’s for me, not you.”

“Say what you’re trying to say, Jah.”

“This shit we’re doing is not what I want to be on.

I want you to myself. Every time I get a notification from your ass, it brightens my day.

I’m constantly thinking of ways to be around you or call you without seeming like a bugaboo.

This shit ain’t easy, and now you’re telling me you’re thinking about giving that nigga another chance. ”

“I never said that.” She looked at me, confused.

“Tatiyonna, you ain’t got to front for me, baby,” I told her. “Tell me this, though. Who is your husband?” I looked at her, waiting for an answer.

“His name is Kileen. I’m sure you’ve seen him on a few billboards around town,” she rolled her eyes.

Not the nigga I was doing business with.

His lame ass was the one causing her pain.

I squinted at her, trying to get the visual of why she was letting this nigga drag her through the mud.

Then it hit me, I pulled Tatiyonna to the edge of the bed and ate her pussy so good that even if he thought he had a chance, she was going to forever think about me. Fuck that nigga.
