Chapter 12
Chapter Twelve
ADAM
Christ Jesus, I wasn’t expecting this when I ended my phone call. I opened the door of my office, and when I came around the corner, I stopped dead in my tracks because, as if I’d conjured it out of my fucking imagination, there they both were.
In our kitchen. About to fuck.
I’ve never seen anything more beautiful than these two humans.
I know that although Gabe wants to sink inside our girl bare, he never would without checking with me, and vice versa.
But damn, I want to see him inside her without a barrier between them.
Stepping up to them, I palm the back of Gabe’s neck and lean in to kiss his shoulder.
“You heard our girl,” I say against his skin. “Fuck her.”
He looks back at me, raises an eyebrow, and I can’t resist kissing him. Alex’s hand glides into my hair, and I reach out to run my hand down her back.
She’s so fucking sweet.
Reaching down, I take Gabe’s cock in my hand and give it a squeeze, making him groan. The motion has my knuckles brushing against Alex’s wet slit, and she sucks in a breath.
Hot. As. Fuck.
I line my man up with her entrance, and kiss Alex as he pushes inside her, absorbing her moans and whimpers.
She’s clinging to both of us, lost to the sensation of my mouth, of Gabe’s cock. And when I brush my fingertips over her hard clit, she cries out, coming around him.
“You take him so fucking well, Princess. I need a taste.” I bend down to lick over her clit while Gabe continues to fuck her. I lick his shaft as he pulls out, and he swears.
“Fucking hell, A. Christ, your mouth is so fucking good.”
I go down on Gabe often. We both love to give and receive oral sex, but damn if he doesn’t taste even better with Alex’s juices dripping around him.
With another swipe of my tongue, Alex shatters again, her legs shaking. Gabe fucks her through her climax, then pulls out. I take him into my mouth, hollow my cheeks, and suck him until he’s shouting my name and coming down my throat.
“Fuck,” he whispers as he fights to catch his breath.
“Excuse me,” Alex says, nudging Gabe back so she can hop off the counter. She drops to her knees, opens my slacks, and takes my hard cock, already dripping with precum, into her mouth.
“Jesus,” I growl as my fingers thread through her hair, holding on as she sucks my soul out of my goddamn body. “Fuck, that pretty little mouth is going to be the end of me.”
Gabe grins and kisses me, bites my lips, then drags his teeth down my throat to that spot he knows drives me out of my fucking mind.
And with our girl sucking my cock, and Gabe’s mouth on my skin, I explode. Alex licks up every drop, then sits back on her haunches, a satisfied grin on her beautiful face.
“This was a fun surprise,” I say as I tuck myself away and help Alex off the floor. I kiss her softly and drag my fingertips down her cheek. “I’m so happy you’re here, Princess.”
“Told you,” Gabe says before kissing her other cheek.
“What does that mean?” I ask.
“I was worried that I’d be intruding,” she says, nibbling that lip. “My apartment feels like the devil moved in, and when Gabe came to tell me that my car was going to take another day to fix, he made me pack a bag.”
“Fuck, pack up the whole apartment,” I reply as her eyes go round. “Because you won’t be going back there.”
“Told you again,” Gabe says with a laugh and pulls steaks out of the fridge. He’s pulled on his jeans, but is shirtless, and I can’t help the way my eyes move over him.
Sexy bastard.
I help Alex tug her dress over her head, and she shimmies it into place. I’ll be bending her over this counter to fuck her from behind before the night is over.
“You really don’t have to do that,” she says, refastening the bun on the top of her head. “This heat wave will be over in a few days, and I’ll go back home and get out of your hair.”
Caging her in against the counter, I rest my hands on either side of her hips and frown down at her.
“Are you under the impression that you’re here just because it’s hot in that apartment you rent?”
“I’m so fucking smart,” Gabe mutters as he seasons the steaks.
“No.” Her voice is quiet, and it makes my heart catch. “Gabe told me that you both like having me around, and he would have invited me here, even if the apartment was comfortable. And I like being with both of you.”
“Then what’s the problem?” She nibbles that perfect lip. “Keep chewing on your lip like that and you’ll make it bleed. Talk to us, Princess. What’s bothering you? We can’t fix it if we don’t know what’s wrong.”
She frowns and stares at my chest for a few seconds. I tip her chin up, making her look at me.
“You can say anything, baby. You’re safe here.”
“I don’t want to get attached to you guys and then when you’re finished with me, I’m brokenhearted and lonely.” She swallows hard as Gabe abandons the steaks and crosses to us.
“Okay, let’s break this down.” I brush my fingertips over the side of her neck, needing to touch her. “Why do you think we’ll be finished with you?”
She frowns and blinks up at me. “Um, because you two are a couple, Adam. I’m the girl from the bar. Sure, we had a lot of fun, but you’re both taken. With each other.”
Now, she’s looking at me like I’m stupid, and it makes me smile.
“It’s not funny,” she says, and I can’t help but kiss her lips.
“No, it’s not funny. Not at all.”
Picking her up, I carry Alex to the couch and settle her in my lap. Gabe sits on the coffee table, facing us, and takes Alex’s hand in his. He kisses the back of it and rests his other hand on my knee.
We’re all connected.
Just as it should be.
“You’re right, Gabe and I are a couple.” He squeezes my knee, and I wink at him. “I mean, have you seen that man?”
“Yeah, he’s sexy as hell. You did well.”
I smile and Gabe rolls his eyes. “I agree. I don’t live my life with the illusion that I can only love one person, Alex. Well, I don’t now.”
“We weren’t expecting you,” Gabe continues. “We’ve been happily going along, living our lives. And I think I can speak for both of us when I say that opening our hearts up to someone new wasn’t in the plan.”
“Agreed.”
“But you’re special, Alex.”
“Wait.” She wiggles out of my lap and starts to pace the living room. “Are you saying that you’re both open to exploring a throuple situation here?”
“A throuple.” I lift my eyebrows. “I like that word.”
“I won’t live without Adam,” Gabe says simply. “Not for one day for the rest of my life. But now that we’ve found you, I want you, too. And Adam feels the same.”
She shifts her gaze to me, and I nod. “I couldn’t have said it better myself.”
“So you’ll still have your thing, and then you’ll each have a relationship with me, and we’ll all have a relationship together?”
“That’s what it boils down to,” Gabe agrees. “You’d be ours, and we’d be yours. Equally. No favorites, no bullshit.”
“Wow.” Alex props her hands on her hips and turns her back to us, and Gabe and I share a look.
Is she going to run?
Maybe.
“And you know you want to do this after just a few days?” She turns back to us and crosses her arms over her chest. “I mean, I’m flattered, but—”
“You don’t trust it,” I finish for her. “I get it. Things moved fast when I first met Gabe, too. I didn’t trust it either.
It’ll just take time, Alex. And we have time.
We’ll continue to get to know each other and spend time together.
You’re not a prisoner here. If you ever want out, you just say so. ”
“I can’t stand this.” Gabe tugs her to him and wraps his arms around her, hugging her close. “You fit here, with us. The perfect fit for us. We didn’t know you were missing from our lives until you showed up, and now we don’t want to be without you. Just give it a try, Shorty.”
I move in behind her and wrap my arms around them, making our Alex sandwich, and she sighs, as if the weight of the world has been lifted.
“I’ll give it a try,” she says quietly. “But if you ever change your mind, and you don’t want me here, please just tell me.”
Someone hurt our girl. I want to know who made her feel unwelcome.
And I want to make sure she never feels that way again.
