Chp 17- The Beginning of Unrest

It was 3:45 pm, the sun was shining bright in the sky, the flowers were swaying from left to right, and the cows were moo-ing, the chickens were clucking in the background, taehyung sitting on the bike, held the accelerator and drove towards the destination.

A farmer removed his turban and said in a sad voice
"Son... this time, my fields blessed me with a beautiful harvest. I was so happy.
I thought, finally, some money will come home.
I thought I would be able to get my daughter married with dignity.
.. and send my boy to study in the city, so he could make a better life.But when I took my rice to the trader, he deceived me.
He took all my grain for a very low price.

A woman with worn out clothes said
A man came forward with his 90 year old mother

Tae immediately held the old woman hand and made her sit on the chair, on which he was supposed to sit, he held both of her hand and kneeled infront of her

Tzuyu and Soya who was sitting beside sana smirked
"Maa, my husband said that he'll bring something for us from outside to eat, he already has a weak stomach, I don't want to be a widow at this young age"
Said said wickedly tying Tzuyu's hair in a braid
Jihyo sighed
"Enough all of you, if you don't want to eat then fine, bahu will cook, those who want to eat will eat, and those who doesn't, you're most welcome to leave the dining table then" jihyo said looking at jiya and Sana, who scoffed in anger
"Bahu, you and jimin go and make dinner, and if needed, take sulgi or yoona with you"
"Why would my daughter will go with them?" Sana said angrily
"Because you, your daughter and your family lives in my husband's house, that's why"
Sana angrily looked at dadi
"Maa say something, i never imagined that bhabhi would fall so low, now she's taunting to us for staying in this house, should we take our share and go from here?"

Sana cowardly leaned back at her roar, eunchae stood up and held jihyo's shoulder
"Bhabhi please calm down!"
"ENOUGH both of you, is this a house or a jungle? Why are you fighting like animals?"
Jihyo sighed and looked at koo and jimin who was silently watching everything with their doe eyes
"Bahu, jimin, you both go and make dinner, let me see who'll stop you both"
Jungkook and jimin nodded, sulgi too stood up, sana looked at her keenly as if telling her to sit down
"I'll help you too bhabhi"
"No need, my daughter will help them, you can sit and eat just like your sister and mother" Jihyo said coldly to sulgi who innocently looked at her and nodded
"Ok, jihyo maa"
Jihyo angrily left from there, dadi looked at Jungkook
"Are you satisfied now, after creating such a scene in between everyone?
Because of you and only you, so much has happened in this house... all in just one day."
Jungkook with teary eyes looked at dadi
"B-but dadi I didn't -"
Dadi raised her palm stopping her and said
"Enough, not a word now, go and make something eatable, not for us maybe for your husband"
Jungkook nodded, and the trio left towards the kitchen to prepare
Inside Sana's room
Sana angrily held sulgi's hand and dragged her inside her room, tzuyu too came behind them and locked the door
Sana angrily slapped sulgi, tzuyu immediately came and stood between her mother and younger sister, protecting her
"Maa, don't raise your hand on her"
"Step aside tzuyu, let me teach her a lesson" Sana said angrily looking at sugli, who was crying behind tzuyu
"What are you huh?, mother Teresa?, What was the need to go in front of everyone and say that you would help that worthless girl?, In the end, Jihyo bhabhi showed us our 'place', didn't she?, There was no need to act so great."
"I wasn't trying to act great... I was just helping.Because of you and Papa, no one in this house adores the two of us sisters." Sulgi says, gathering courage as she cries.

Saying that tzuyu got up and went from there, and sulgi kept on crying
Jhope who came home early today from the hospital, was walking infront of the room when he heard sulgi's crying voice
He frowned as he went near the door and knocked on it
"Who's there inside?"
When no answer came from inside, jhope unlocked the door and saw sulgi sitting on the bed,crying
"Sulgi"
Jhope looked up with her red eyes, with five fingers print on her cheeks, jhope came forward and kneel infront of her and cupped her red cheeks
"What happened?, who slapped you?"
"N-no one"
"Sulgi, tell me, who did this?"
Jhope asked in a stern voice, sulgi wiped her tears and looked down saying
"Maa, she slapped me"
"Why?"
"T..today jihyo maa, and maa had a fight......" Sulgi explained why Sana slapped her to jhope
"What nonsense?, why did she beat you just because you agreed to help bhabhi with chores?"
Sulgi looked down crying, jhope wiped her tears
"Look at me, don't cry, you're a strong girl, now no more tears"
Sulgi nodded still looking down
"Look up"
Sulgi slowly looked up at him
"Do you want to eat ice-cream?"
"You brought?"
Jhope nodded
"It's in the fridge in the kitchen, wait I'll bring it"
Jhope for up but sulgi held his hand
"No.. you don't go inside kitchen, I'll bring, go to your room brother"
Jhope nodded.
Sulgi went from there and jhope stood there with his hand in his pocket looking at the way she went and then he took went towards his room.
Soon sulgi brought icecream in his room
"Brother... I bought icecream"
Jhope came out of the bathroom wearing a tshirt and sweatpants
"Come inside, why are you standing there like a maid"
Sulgi nodded as she walked inside and kept the ice-cream bowl on the table next to the bed
"Where's yours?"
"I'll eat afterwards, and it's almost dinner time, I'll eat it at night"
"Okay"
"Brother, I'm going to help bhabhi, do you want to eat anything specifically?"
"Why?, you'll make it?"
Sulgi shuttered
"I-i c-can, what do you want to eat brother?"
"I want to eat gajar ka halwa for dessert"
"Okay I'll make it"
Saying that sulgi went out of jhope's room
