Chapter 66

Robert came over quickly and said respectfully, "Mr. Jude Harrison, Mr. Harrison is looking for you."

Jude looked away from the two people in the parent–child–themed restaurant. Then, he turned around and followed Robert out of the mall.

After getting in the car, he saw Henry holding a document and flipping through it. Henry looked indifferent and asked in a calm voice, "Why did you take so long?"

Jude had gone to the bathroom, but he saw Victoria then. She was holding the hand of a little girl, and the two were talking and laughing while shopping.

Victoria was gentle to that little girl. That gentleness had once belonged only to Jude. But now, it was taken away by someone else.

And now, she was still eating with that little girl and holding the girl in her arms.

The more Jude thought about it, the angrier he became. He even wanted to cry. He asked, "Dad, does Mom really not want me anymore?"

Hearing this, Henry stopped flipping through the document. He glanced at Jude and saw tears in his eyes.

He immediately frowned, "Did you meet her?"

Henry didn't take it to heart but just said, "She has lost her memory. When she recovers her memory, she will love you as before."

Jude thought, "Is it really true? But why am I so flustered, especially when seeing Mom being so gentle to that girl? But I am her son, and her tenderness and love should be given to me. No matter what I did, it is an unchangeable fact.

When she regains her memory, I will definitely punish her and let her know that I am angry."

Henry asked someone to investigate and found out that Victoria was spotted by Jude while shopping with a little girl.

In the photos on the phone, Victoria looked very gentle. She squatted in front of a cute girl and seemed to be saying something with an unstoppable smile.

Henry suddenly turned cold, thinking, "She doesn't care about her son but cares about another kid. She's so great."

He called Gideon and asked in a cold tone, "How are the preparations for what I asked you to do?"

Gideon's tone revealed a bit of helplessness. "We need a suitable venue, and there are still a few medicines that are not in place. I still want to ask you. Do you really want to do this? The price is too high, and she will become a fool if something unexpected happens."

"Do what you need to do."

He thought, "Victoria's better than now, even if she becomes a fool. The present Victoria is very annoying to me."

Gideon sighed heavily and hung up the phone.

No one took good care of the roses in the Rose Villa. The petals had withered, and the ground was muddy, looking bleak.

Henry stood on the balcony, looking at the withered flowers, and the scene of Victoria walking through the flowers suddenly emerged in his mind.

He took out a bottle of wine from the wine cabinet, poured at glass, and then drank it all in one gulp.

Without her here, everything felt quiet.

Henry didn't like this kind of loneliness.

He thought, "She should come back and take care of the roses to add warm colors to the house."

Victoria told Emma a bedtime story. Looking down, she found that Emma had closed her eyes and fallen asleep.

Under the dim light, Emma looked delicate and incredibly soft.

Victoria couldn't help herself, so she leaned over and kissed Emma, then got out of bed and left.

Just then, the doorbell rang sharply, and she was startled.
