Chapter 69

However, Victoria saw Henry and Jude sitting in front of Emma when she turned around.

She thought, "When did they catch up? What on earth are they going to do?"

Emma was reserved, and a hint of fear appeared on her soft and delicate face. But she didn't dare to move, and she was obviously scared.

Victoria took a deep breath and walked over, holding the plate. She placed it in front of Emma and said softly, "Baby, eat first. I have something to say to him."

After a pause, Victoria looked at Jude. "Do you want to eat fries?"

She had a completely different attitude towards Jude from that towards Emma.

Her tone was cold, and the tenderness in her eyes disappeared.

Jude was angry, and his face became even more tense and cold. "I won't eat junk food."

"OK!" Victoria nodded, then looked at Henry. "Would it be convenient for us to talk?"

"What do you want to talk about?" Henry looked at the environment with a hint of disgust in his eyes.

Victoria pointed to a place not far away. "Let's talk over there." Some things were not appropriate to say in front of children.

Henry glanced at her coldly, then stood up and walked over.

Victoria patted Emma's head soothingly. "I'll be back soon."

"Okay." Emma nodded obediently, but her eyes were fixed on Victoria.

Victoria didn't dare to walk too far. Seeing that the two kids were at peace for the time being, she said to Henry, "What are you doing?"

A mocking smile appeared on Henry's handsome face. "I want to ask that question. What are you doing?"

"What?" Victoria couldn't understand what he meant for a moment.

Henry's tone was a little colder. "You ignore your son and don't love him, but you care about a person who has nothing to do with you. Victoria, don't you think that you are being cruel to Jude by doing this?"

Victoria was stunned, thinking, "What? Is he here to call me to account?"

At this thought, she was so angry that she laughed.

"Do you think that Jude wants me as his mother? I remember that he agreed to our divorce. I even heard him ask you to divorce me as soon as possible."

She thought, "Does he think I don't know that?"

Hearing her words, Henry frowned.

Henry thought, "Where did she hear these words? But none of this matters."

He said coldly, "Do you want to argue with a five–year–old boy about this? Victoria, how old are you?"

Victoria sneered, "Because he is only five years old, his thoughts are simple and pure. He said he hopes we get divorced, which means he doesn't want me as his mother anymore. Why do you want to me to be with him?"

She didn't understand why Henry brought Jude to appear in front of her and also didn't understand what Jude was thinking.

Victoria had used been care and worry about that, but she didn't at all now.

Seeing Henry's face getting colder and colder, she said cautiously, "You can see that Emma is very afraid of you. She is just a child. Don't scare her, okay?"

For Emma, her tone softened a bit.

Henry's expression became terrible. "Victoria."

However, she just turned around and went back, sitting directly next to Emma.

Seeing Victoria come back, Emma was obviously relieved and gave Victoria the fries in her hand. "Do you like fries Ms. Victoria? It is so good."

"Thank you, Emma" smiled Victoria.

But the next second, a small hand appeared and then knocked the fries out of Emma's hand.

Jude's childish voice sounded. "My mother doesn't eat junk food either."

Emma was stunned for a moment after being hit. She looked at Jude with fear in her eyes and kept shrinking back. And then suddenly, Emma started to cry out loud.

Victoria immediately hugged her and looked at Jude, frowning, "What did you do? How could you hit her? Apologize to her!"

Hearing this, Jude widened his eyes in shock and looked at Victoria in disbelief. He never expected that she would be so mean to him for someone else.
