Chapter 68

After breakfast, Victoria changed Emma into a pink dress, tied cute bun, and put a hairpin on her. Looking at the soft and cute Emma, she felt her heart was soft.

"Emma, why are you so cute? I really want to grab you and make you my daughter," said Victoria with a sigh, kissing Emma's chubby face.

Emma blinked her big eyes and said seriously, "Ms. Victoria, you can't have such dangerous thoughts. I am the only baby my mother has. If you take me away, she will have no baby anymore."

Victoria nodded. "Okay. I won't take you away. Then, you can come to my place often to play, right?"

"Yes," said Emma.

When the contact person found out that Victoria was Vika, they were excited and surprised. They cooperated very well, so the filming went exceptionally smoothly.

The task that was expected to be completed in three days was completed in only one day.

The next step was to select and edit the films and then send the finished films to the editor–in–chief.

Emma was indeed well–behaved and stayed quietly beside Victoria the whole time. There was even a bit of interest in her big eyes when she watched Victoria taking pictures.

In the evening, Victoria sent the film over. Then, she stood up and stretched her body, then asked, "Emma, what do you want to eat for dinner?"

Emma said, "How about hamburgers?"

"Sure," agreed Victoria immediately and went out with Emma to eat.

However, what Victoria didn't expect was that just as she opened the door, the door opposite also opened, and the first person to come out was Jude, followed by Henry.

A look of surprise appeared on her face, and she thought, "There has been no one living opposite me. When did they move in?"

"Mom." Seeing Victoria, Jude immediately called out. But his voice was a little stiff because he hadn't called out for a long time, and his face, which was precisely the same as Henry's, was cold and serious.

"Hmm!". Charlotte just nodded without any emotion, and her good mood suddenly disappeared.

She thought, "It's such bad luck to see them."

Seeing the elevator arrive, Victoria took Emma into the elevator first, followed by Henry and Jude.

The spacious elevator immediately became cramped, and the mirror reflected their figures.

Victoria lowered her eyes and looked at Emma, pinching her hand from time to time and fiddling with her hair, and there was soft and full of patience in her eyes.

Jude saw this scene and pressed his lips tightly, thinking, "I am her son. Why is she so cold to me?

Also, who is this little girl? Why does she occupy my mother?"

He then looked at Emma coldly.

Emma was sensitive and noticed Jude's gaze. She looked at him and was frightened by his eyes, then immediately hid in Victoria's arms.

Victoria frowned slightly and glanced at Jude. Then, she moved Emma to another position, showing a protective posture.

The temperature in the elevator suddenly dropped, and traces of coolness enveloped Victoria. She looked up and met Henry's gaze, which was somewhat chilly.

Not only looking at her, Henry looked at Emma with a cold stare.

Victoria immediately pushed Emma behind her and looked at Henry vigilantly with her clear eyes.

She thought, "He wouldn't be so cruel as to attack a four–year–old girl, right?"

There was silence in the elevator, but an endless chill was spreading. Henry saw her vigilance and worry, and his expression became even colder.

He thought, "What kind of person am I in her eyes?"

Just when the atmosphere was tense, the elevator door opened.

Victoria held Emma's hand and immediately left quickly. She was even afraid that Emma could not keep up and directly picked Emma up.

Emma hugged her neck, a little dazed. "Ms. Victoria, what's wrong with you?"

Victoria said, "I'm so hungry. Let's go eat."

Emma said, "They look so fierce. Are they bad guys?"

Victoria responded, "Yes. So we need to stay away from them."

Only after getting in the car did Victoria breathe a sigh of relief.

She drove to a nearby fast food restaurant and asked Emma to sit on a chair, then went to order food.
