Chapter 110

The staff in the studio could feel the tense atmosphere, working cautiously, afraid to make any mistakes.

Nervously, Tina brought Victoria a cup of coffee. When Victoria took a sip, Tina cautiously asked, "Uh... Vika, what is wrong?"

"Hmm?" Victoria confused.

Tina adjusted her glasses. "You seem a bit unapproachable today."

Victoria blinked, then checked her face in a small mirror. The dark circles under her eyes were still glaring, ruining her look. Her expression immediately soured.

"These dark circles are ruining my mood," Victoria muttered.

Tina immediately relaxed. "You scared me. I thought something was wrong."

After a brief pause, she continued, "I noticed Hendrick seems like he wants to say something to you, but he keeps hesitating."

Victoria glanced at Hendrick, catching his wary gaze–nothing like the greedy look from yesterday.

Victoria set down her coffee and walked over to Hendrick.

Hendrick instantly smiled warmly. "Hey, Vika."

"What is it?" Victoria asked bluntly, not one to beat around the bush.

Hendrick glanced around and lowered his voice. "Yesterday was my fault. I will not do it again. Can you forgive me, Vika?"

"It depends on how I feel," Victoria replied indifferently.

Hendrick seemed anxious. "Vika, how did you get those photos? They are no use to you. Name your price, and I will buy them all."

Victoria looked up, her gaze cold. "I am not selling. As long as you stay out of trouble, the photos will not get out. But do not repeat your mistakes. What goes around, comes around."

With that, she turned and walked away.

Hendrick's face darkened, but he managed to restrain himself.

Reese spent the night digging and finally discovered Victoria's identity–she was Mrs. Harrison, the young madam of the prestigious Harrison family in Lanceser.

Once that identity was revealed, Hendrick and Reese were shocked.

The trending search had been wiped clean, and they knew it was Henry's doing.

The whole night was filled with anxiety, afraid that Henry might get angry and blacklist Hendrick.

With no news coming, Hendrick and Reese decided to wait until they saw Victoria to apologize.

Now that Victoria had spoken, Hendrick had no choice but to swallow his pride and stay in line. He did not want to be blacklisted.

But he was not content. He thought, "I do not believe Henry cares about Victoria.

If he did, he would not let her work alone–she would be treated like royalty.

I suspect their relationship has fallen apart, and Victoria has to work to support herself.

Maybe one day, the news of their divorce will surface.

When it does, I will get my revenge!"

After a busy morning, Victoria sat down for lunch in the cafeteria. Just as she began eating, her phone rang, and she frowned at the screen.

She thought, "Oh this woman again". It is Mrs. Jennifer Harrison.

"Hello?"

Jennifer's tone remained as commanding as always. "Come to the hospital."

After giving the order, she hung up the phone without waiting for a response.

Victoria set her phone down without expression and went back to eating.

In the afternoon, they were moving to a new location for the outdoor shoot.

While walking through the forest, Hendrick struck to the script until he noticed several cars approaching in the distance, their imposing presence making him freeze.

He thought, "What is going on here?"

The crew noticed too and gathered to discuss.

Victoria was displeased that they were not taking their work seriously, as it was causing delays in the schedule.

She turned around, and upon seeing who was getting out of the car, her expression turned icy.

Camille wore a dark green long dress, her pearl necklace gleaming in the sunlight. Her well–maintained face made her look nowhere near fifty.

Victoria set down her camera and walked over to her.

"Mom, what are you doing here?"

Camille's face was grim. "Here you are, the daughter of the Hardwick family and the young madam of the Harrison family, yet you are taking photos for others? Are you not feeling ashamed?"

Victoria's gaze was steady. "Tell me what you want."

Camille was furious at her defiance. "Come with me."

Without saying where, Camille turned and got into the car.

Victoria furrowed her brow. "I still have work to finish."

"If you do not come with me, you will not be finishing any work," Camille said coldly.

Victoria felt puzzled. She thought, "Why is Camille being so aggressive all of a sudden? Where is she taking me?"

She spoke briefly with Tina before getting into the car.

Tina organized for the crew to leave, and the shoot was delayed.

The crew started to gossip.

"Wow, what is Vika's background? That wealthy woman looked so elegant."

"She must be someone important."

"Oh, Vika might be a wealthy heiress!"

The car was silent, with a subtle fragrance in the air. Victoria rolled down the window to let the scent escape.

Camille frowned. "What are you doing? This is a calming incense I got from Thaddeus. It has helped me sleep so much better."

Victoria ignored her, a trace of mockery flashing in her mind.

She thought, "When I first learned to make incense, I eagerly brought some to Camille, hoping to help with her poor sleep and nerves.

She glanced at the bottle with disgust. 'Where did you get this trash? Do not bring it back–what if it has germs?"

I felt deeply hurt and shared it with Ava instead, but Ava just sighed.

"Do not mention you are learning this to her. It will just create more problems."

All these years, Camille has had no idea that I am actually a renowned incense maker, Ms. Aroma.

The best sleep aid is something I am most skilled at."

Camille frowned slightly, displeased. "I am talking to you—are you deaf?"

Victoria turned to her. "Mom, where are we going?"

"Do you not realize what you have done?" Camille's expression darkened. "Ms. Miller is a special guest of Mrs. Jennifer Harrison. You insulted her, and now Mrs. Harrison is furious. She asked you to apologize, but you refused. Are you trying to cause trouble?"

Victoria thought, "What-?"

Victoria's expression froze. She looked at Camille's face, filled with disappointment and coldness.

"You want me to apologize to Sarah?"
