Chapter 154

Henry grabbed Victoria's wrist and looked at her angry face. He swallowed, and his Adam's apple rolled. He had a lot to tell her but finally resisted the urge.

Henry thought, "Should I tell her the truth? Then I will lose her, my satisfactory wife."

After five years, Henry had become accustomed to having Victoria around. If they divorced, she would completely disappear from his life. These traces she left would gradually fade away with time. It was not what Henry wanted to see.

After a long while, Henry said calmly, "Can't I hug you?" Then, he released her wrist and turned to leave Starlight Terrace. Now, he had to think carefully about his relationship with Victoria and his feelings for her.

Victoria found Henry so weird, but when he left, she relaxed completely.

The breakfast was ready. Jude had already washed up. He was sitting on the dining chair. Seeing Victoria coming out of the kitchen, he immediately greeted her. "Good morning, Mom."

"Good morning." Victoria rubbed Jude's hair, her expression much gentler than before. "Did you sleep well last night?"

"Yes!" Jude nodded with a smile. "I like sleeping with you, Mom." He felt warm and safe with Victoria sleeping next to him. It was a kind of feeling that he had never experienced before.

Jude thought, "I'll tell Dad that I won't return to Harrison Villa. I want to live with Mom. In Harrison Villa, apart from the care of my grandparents, no one accompanies me."

Victoria sat down and said, "Let's eat. I'll take you to school."

Jude nodded and suddenly asked, "Mom, why did Emma transfer to another school?"

Victoria said, "The kindergarten is a bit far from her home, so her mother transferred her to the one near her home."

Jude lowered his head, and a hint of hesitation appeared on his tender and delicate face. After a while, he said, "Mom, I have something to talk to Emma."

"Hmm?" Victoria was a little surprised. "What do you want to talk to her?"

Jude looked at Victoria with a serious expression. "Mom, can you let us meet? I want to talk to Emma in person."

"Of course." Victoria nodded. "But you can't bully her. She's younger than you."

Jude lowered his head in embarrassment and clutched the corner of his clothes nervously.

Seeing this, Victoria probably guessed what Jude was going to say to Emma. She couldn't help but feel a little pleased, Jude had really changed a lot. His indifference, which was similar to Henry's, was fading. His own personality was gradually coming alive.

Victoria took Jude to kindergaden. He held her hand all the time. When they reached the door of the kindergarten, he said to the teacher, "Ms. Wales, this is my mother."

The teacher, Fallon Wales, was a little surprised, greeting Victoria with a smile. "You are Jude's mother? Hello."

"Hello." Victoria nodded. It was the first time she sent Jude to kindergarten. Back then, he had always gone to the kindergarten from Harrison Villa, and she didn't even have the chance to take him there.

Fallon paused and then smiled, "Hello, Mrs. Harrison. I'm Fallon Wales, Jude's teacher. Can I have your contact information? I can call you if I have anything to talk to you in the future."

"Okay," Victoria took out her mobile phone and exchanged phone numbers with Fallon.

Watching Jude enter the kindergarten, Victoria became more determined. She thought, "After the divorce, I must fight for my son's custody!"

When Victoria got in the car, her mobile phone rang. She took it out and saw that it was a call from Camille. She frowned and answered, "Hello?"

Camille said coldly, "Go home now. We have something to talk to you."

After saying this, Camille hung up the phone. Her attitude was tough, revealing a hint of coldness.

Victoria frowned and looked at the phone screen. She had a feeling that something terrible was going to happen. She didn't want to go back to Hardwick Villa, but she soon received a message.

Sebastian: [Vicky, Mom just called me home and said she had something important to announce. Did she call you? Do you know what it is?]

Seeing this message, Victoria pressed her lips. She thought, "A family meeting? Camille will announce something important?"

Victoria turned the car around and drove towards Hardwick Villa. When she entered the villa, she saw Camille and James sitting on the sofa, and there was another person there who surprised her. It was Sarah.

Victoria thought, "Why is Sarah here?" She felt puzzled, sat on the single sofa, and asked, "What's the matter?"

Camille ignored Victoria and drank her coffee. James was watching TV with glasses on, and he looked serious. Sarah sat beside him quietly. The atmosphere was weird.

After waiting for about half an hour, Sebastian came back. He was on a business trip and was notified to go home as soon as he got off the plane. He asked in confusion, "Dad, Mom, what's the matter that you asked me back home so urgently?"

Camille put the cup on the table, then took out a document and put it on the table, saying, "Take a look at this."

James turned off the TV and took off his glasses with a blank expression.

Sebastian was puzzled. He picked up the document and took a look. Soon, he widened his eyes in shock. "How...is this possible?"

Victoria picked up the document and took a look. She frowned when she found that it was a paternity test report of Camille and Sarah. Victoria turned to the last page and saw the result. Camille and Sarah were related.

Victoria was shocked, thinking, "Sarah is Camille's daughter?"

Sebastian looked at Sarah, then at Camille, his expression becoming serious. "Mom, are you mistaken? How could Sarah be your daughter?"

Camille said, "I have confirmed it carefully. Sarah is daughter, and I have only given birth to a daughter." The implication was that Victoria was not her daughter.

Sarah looked at Camille, revealing her gentle and elegant real temperament. "Mom." Then, she turned to look at James. "Dad."

Camille smiled, "Good girl. From today on, you will live here. I will do my best to make it up for you."

Sebastian said, "I don't believe it. What about Vicky? She is my sister!"

James said, "We have raised Victoria for so many years, and we won't drive her away. But since Sarah is my real daughter, she should come back to us. It's good for her and our family."

Camille nodded. "That's right. Victoria, you can still be our daughter and keep everything you have, but you won't get any shares in Hardwick Group."

After a pause, she continued, "You have to return what Ava gave you. You are not her biological granddaughter, and you are not qualified to inherit it."

Victoria put down the paternity test report with a calm expression on her pretty face. She was not sad when she learned this shocking truth. Instead, she felt relieved. She thought, "That's great. I'm not their daughter."

After hearing Camille's words, Victoria sneered, "I don't care about the Hardwick family's properly, but what Ava gave me is mine. Why should I return it to you? Even if I have to do it, I will return it to Ava!"
