“As the King, I am delighted to present my daughter, Princess Fiona, and her husband, Prince Lucian.” King Robert murmurs to the crowd as we are waiting hand in hand, ready to face this together, “Although it was quite unexpected, I am happy to allow him to be a part of our life and truthfully, I wouldn’t change it for the world.”
We walk forward, Fiona holding onto me like I’m her lifeline. I don’t mind showing the world that we are happy and content, but the beautiful curve of her swollen belly is enough to tell everyone of what is to come.
For the longest time, I just watched from afar, not wanting to push it too much when it comes to her loving me.
