Chapter 47
“You know,” Leviathan murmured as he gnawed on the end of a candy cane, “I really like this holiday. It’s nothing but pure sugar.”
Cullen laughed, his breath puffing out in a little white cloud that was barely visible in the dim lighting along the street. “It’s also about presents.” The bags of souvenirs and trinkets people carried as they strolled past them was a clear reminder of that.
Leviathan waved an impatient hand. “I can get you presents all the time. These things…” He took the candy cane–now sharpened to a deadly point– “These are only around once a year.”
He grinned. “I think you can buy them year round at grocery stores, actually.”
Leviathan made a quiet, dismissive sound. “No need. I have servants, remember? This is all they’re serving us from now on.”
“It most definitely is not.” He scowled. “I like real food.”
“Candy is real food.”
“It is not!”
“Hush.” Leviathan took his candy cane and pushed it into his mouth, silencing him. Cullen licked at the pointed tip and rolled his eyes.
“What about all these sparkly lights? You like those too?”
Leviathan winced. “I could do without all that nonsense. And the cold.” He smirked.
“Though I do think the wires the lights are hung on would do wonderfully for tying someone up. Make them light up like a Christmas tree and keep them still while I buried my cock in them.” He raised a suggestive eyebrow and Cullen found himself blushing, his heart racing faster at the image in his mind.
“That’s not very Christmassy. This is supposed to be a holiday of love.”
“Sex is part of love.”
“Not that way.” He scoffed, his face growing warmer when several people glanced at them as they moved past. He grabbed Leviathan by the hand and began to drag him through the crowd in the opposite direction.
“Come on,” Leviathan murmured, so low that none of the humans passing by would have been able to hear them. “Wouldn’t you like to be tied up with those pretty lights? Letting them burn your skin while you struggled to move, my cock pumping in and out of–”
“Levi!” He hissed, shoving him. “Would you shut up?!”
He laughed and hooked his arm over his shoulder, tugging him close. “I think it sounds like a great present.”
“I think you’re a damn pervert who feigns kindness to get laid.” He grumbled, his face burning as he forced very unsexy thoughts into his mind to fight the erection threatening to emerge.
Leviathan’s hand slid down his back, his own thoughts mixing with Cullen’s, images of what he wanted to do to him while he was wrapped up like a damn Christmas tree–
“Come on!” He hissed, mortified that he was slowly growing hard.
“Don’t get me started. We’ve only been here for like half an hour.
I wanted to do some more things.” He bit down on the candy cane and then pulled it from his mouth, offering it to Leviathan again.
He took it, looking devious, and Cullen’s face went red as he twirled his tongue around the tip of it before sucking it deep.
Leviathan chuckled as he darted his eyes away.
Cullen ignored him, glancing around, looking for something they hadn’t done yet.
There wasn’t really anything left. They’d come here every night this week and had done everything from riding carriages pulled by massive black horses to ice skating–something they were both shockingly good at, despite the years Cullen had spent falling on his ass.
Another perk of his new demon body, he was sure.
And they had tried every snack, going back for seconds and sometimes thirds. Cullen found himself wondering if it was his new body or all the sex that had kept both him and Leviathan fit after all the snacking they did on the regular.
But they were out of both activities and snacks now, out of stands and stores to visit. There was nothing left for the festival really, except the parade. Which wasn’t until tomorrow night.
Slowly, he turned back to Leviathan, his lips tugging up at the corners. “Well, I guess we could cut it a little short tonight.”
Excitement flickered in Leviathan’s eyes. Slowly, he took the candy from his mouth and chucked it to the ground, his arm winding tight around Cullen’s waist to yank him closer. Cullen exhaled shakily.
“Celebrating the holiday at home sounds like more fun anyway.”
Leviathan smiled.
