Chapter 9 #2

Aravind laughed, then let out the smallest sigh.

“Not today, no. But when I came to see you at the hospital, you were as high as a kite and going on about how pretty I am.” He paused as my face flushed with humiliation.

I couldn’t remember that, but it was all true.

“I didn’t think it was just the drugs talking. ”

Leaning forward, I captured him in another, shorter kiss. “It wasn’t just the drugs.”

Aravind hummed and kissed me deeper, drawing it out, letting his tongue ring trace the inside of my mouth until I was rock hard and aching and a little desperate to come. When he pulled back, he was slightly breathless and took a moment, forehead resting against mine.

“I have an idea,” he murmured.

“What?” I said, but I really wanted to say, “Anything.”

“I’m going to jerk you off.”

I fought back a heavy groan and shook my head quickly. His wandering hand froze halfway to my crotch. “I’ll get loud. I won’t be able to help it. I’ve never been able to keep my mouth shut.”

Pulling back, Aravind hummed and slowly slid off my lap. Fuck, I wanted to cry. I needed his weight back on me.

“Please, don’t go—”

“I’m not going anywhere. I think I have an idea, honey. I might know a good way to keep you very quiet.” He sauntered out of my sightline, and a moment later, he was back. His leg slid over mine, and he rested all of his weight on my thighs as he lifted something toward my face.

It was fabric—something small, maybe lacy, a soft royal blue. He dragged the edge along my jawline, and it was somehow both rough and silky.

“Are those—”

“My panties. A clean pair,” he added like I would have cared. Fingers pressed against my chin. “Open.”

Was he going to…oh fuck. My lips parted, and I opened my mouth just far enough he could stuff the little bundle right past my teeth. With a tap of his fingers under my chin, my mouth closed again.

“Good boy,” he whispered.

My dick kicked so hard that I swore it almost broke through the zipper. “Shit.”

The word was nothing more than a muffled mess against the silky fabric in my mouth. I bit down hard as his fingers began to work at my button and zipper, and it wasn’t long before he had me in his hand.

“Put your face in my neck,” he said, gripping the back of my hair and guiding me. “Close your eyes and let me make you feel good.”

“What about you?” I tried to ask. But he didn’t answer because my words didn’t sound like anything more than a collection of broken moans as he gently took my dick out and squeezed his fingers around it.

“God, you’re big,” he whispered. He shifted back slightly, and though I couldn’t see anything with my nose pressed against his hammering pulse, I could feel him dragging a touch up and down my length. “Is that why people want you to top?”

“Mm.” It was all I could say. Not just because of the panties stuffed into my mouth, but because he’d started stroking me, and my brains immediately turned into jelly.

It had been so long since I’d done anything like this. No, that was a lie. I had never done anything like this. I had never taken risks. I had never gone after what I wanted.

I let things happen to me. I let people happen to me. And when they left, I let them go.

Now, I wanted to wrap my arms around Aravind and keep him pressed against my body for the rest of my fucking life.

Which, in hindsight, was a ridiculous thing to think.

This man had been a thorn in my side—a pebble in my shoe—for months.

He’d dismissed me, questioned me, made me feel like I had to defend my right to be in the league.

So how was he also giving me the best hand job I’d ever had? How did he somehow know what I needed? He was petit and lithe, but somehow, I felt so small in his arms.

Pleasure shot up my spine as he tightened his grip, and I pulled back with a gasp, the air coming in through my nose catching in my throat. I started to panic when it felt like I couldn’t take in enough, and Aravind noticed immediately.

“It’s okay. You’re okay,” he murmured, then grabbed me by the hair again and slammed his mouth over mine.

I couldn’t kiss him properly. Not the way I wanted to while I was gagged with his panties. I wanted his tongue against mine. I wanted him to fuck my mouth the way his cock should be fucking my ass. But all I could do was let my lips hang open as his rested against mine.

And it wasn’t long before I was coming. It hit me out of nowhere, like a freight train, robbing me of all sense. I felt my back hit the seat, and I let out a heavy grunt as I came, shooting hot ropes all over Aravind’s knuckles.

“Yeah, fuck yeah,” he said, jerking me harder, faster, milking every drop I had to give. “Fuck, look at you. God, I’m going to get off so hard tonight remembering this.”

I let out a shattered groan as my dick became oversensitive, and when I put my fingers to the back of his wrist, he slowed.

Then he stopped. Pulling his hand away, he leaned forward, and before I truly understood what he was doing, he had the corner of the panties between his teeth as he pulled them out of my mouth.

Fuuuuck. This man was going to kill me. Or hell, maybe I was already dead, and this, somehow, was my heaven.

“You with me?” he asked after a long pause, stroking a very careful touch down my cheek. He was being so tender with me, so…so careful, but not in a way that made me feel bad about myself.

I blinked. What was left in my vision was full of staticky stars, but before I had a chance to panic, it started to clear, and my eye focused on Aravind’s eyes. They reminded me so much of sunlight shining through honey.

Then my gaze wound its way down to his mouth—a little flushed, his teeth digging into his lower lip.

Then lower to his chest, still heaving with breath.

Then to his fingers, which were curled into the panties.

He swiped up the mess I’d left behind on his knuckles, then turned, and when he twisted his body back to face me, his hands were empty.

“Regrets?” he asked after a long moment.

I licked my lips with a painfully dry tongue. “Ah. No. No regrets. But…”

I heard him suck in a breath. “But?”

I couldn’t help wondering what he thought I was going to say. I let the silence linger, then cleared my throat. “You didn’t, you know.”

He laughed. “Get off? Trust me, I know. But like I said, I can’t fuck you here.”

Did that mean he wanted to fuck me somewhere else? We were likely going to the same island, but did that mean anything? I’d be with my family, and god only knew what kind of fuss they might put up if I brought Aravind home.

And he was going…somewhere. I hadn’t asked. I hadn’t wanted to care, though now I wanted to know more about him. That road would probably lead to disaster, but I was finding it harder and harder to care.

I felt an almost ache in my chest when Aravind tucked me back into my jeans and zipped me up. His weight was the last thing to leave as he climbed to his feet, and I could see his shadow hovering to my right.

“I think we’re almost there.”

I had no idea how much time had passed. The ferry felt like a liminal space suddenly—not quite existing in any reality. It was like everyone had disappeared, and it was just us for as long as we wanted it.

But he was right.

The ferry was slowing down, and it wouldn’t be long before I’d be climbing into my brother’s car and heading toward what was now going to be a very lonely two weeks.

“Maybe…we’ll run into each other again?” God, I sounded pathetic.

He huffed, then flopped down beside me. “Phone.”

“What?”

“Phone,” he said in a terrible attempt at a French accent. “I don’t know how you actually say it in French.”

“They call it un cell in Quebec, but I never call it that,” I told him. I patted my pocket before realizing I’d dropped it on the seat, so I skimmed my finger to the side until it came into contact with the side.

Gripping it tight, I pushed a few of the buttons by accident, but it didn’t matter. “What do you need it for?”

“I’m giving you my number. I know you’re still mad at me, and this is clouding your judgment. If you want to yell at me later, you should be able to get in touch with me.”

His fingers skimmed over mine as he took it.

“I’m not going to yell at you later,” I told him quietly.

He snorted. “Is there anything special I need to do? You know, the voice thing, or…”

I shook my head. I was still learning it, and I was too slow at the moment since I couldn’t process the speech feature as quickly as some of the other guys. The level Jonah used sounded like Mickey Mouse on a mixture of helium and speed.

I wasn’t sure I would ever get as good as him.

Aravind said nothing, but I could hear the haptic feedback as he opened up my contacts and began to type. And not long after that, I picked up a buzzing sound nearby.

“I texted myself,” he said, then tapped my knuckles with the edge of the phone. “You can also block me if you wake up tomorrow and realize what we did was fucked.”

“You think it was fucked?”

“I think it was the best decision I’ve made in a long while, but I’ve also made a long string of very bad choices, so my bar is kind of on the floor.”

I couldn’t help a smile. “If you change your mind tomorrow and you need to yell at me—”

“I’ll figure out where to find you,” he said. “I prefer to do my yelling in person.”

I sucked in a breath to say…well, who the fuck knew. But I didn’t get the chance. The speaker clicked on, and the ferry captain announced that we were arriving at the dock.

This moment, whatever it was, was over. It was finished. And I wasn’t foolish enough to believe that anything this good was going to happen again.
