Langos- a sweet bread

Ingredients: Toppings

2 cups warmed milk Powdered Sugar, Jelly, Garlic & Feta, & Nutella, Dubai Chocolate Mixture(on next pg.)

4-4.5 flour

1/2 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 Tbsp. Active Dry yeast

1/2 tsp. of salt * only needed if using unsalted butter *

1 stick of butter

**Please note that everyone's kitchens and ovens are different. Take into account the humidity in your kitchen when adding flour!

Instructions:

In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups of warmed milk, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 2 eggs.

Add 1 tbsp. of Active dry yeast plus a 1/2 cup of flour (to activate yeast) and whisk.

Let mixture sit for about 15-20mins until it has a foamy coat on top.

Add 2 cups of flour into the mixture and 1/2 tsp. of salt (*If butter is unsalted*). Stir together w/ spatula.

Add another 1/2 cup of flour to bowl and mix with hand to scrape sides.

Flour surface and drizzle some melted butter on top of the dough.

Knead dough, adding more butter as you fold it on itself. Note: If your dough is not firm, add a little more flour.

Lightly oil a bowl and put dough inside. Cover for 45mins. Dough should double in size.

Knead again and let rest for 30mins.

Roll into log shape and cut into equal sized pieces. Once rolled, flatten into a circle with rolling pin.

Heat oil in a pot on medium heat and cook until golden brown on each side. Rest on paper towels to collect any grease.
