CHAPTER21 [THE END OF ESCAPE]
Aarohi slowly steps out of the car, her heart racing as she looks around. Police are everywhere, checking every vehicle.
From behind, Zayan calls out,
“Aarohi, please!”
But she doesn’t turn back. She knows if she does, she might put him in danger too.
She starts walking ahead carefully… when suddenly a police officer notices her.
“Wahin ruk jao!” (Stop right there!)
Without wasting a second, Aarohi pushes him hard and runs straight into the jungle.
On the other side, Vihaan arrives.
A police officer quickly informs him,
“Sir, ek ladki dulhan ke dress mein jungle ki taraf bhaagi hai.” (Sir, a girl in a bridal dress ran towards the jungle.)
Vihaan’s eyes darken instantly.
Within seconds, his car speeds toward the jungle, followed by his bodyguards.
A dangerous smirk appears on his face as he says,
“Jitna bhaagna hai bhaag lo… aakhir mein tumhe mere paas hi aana hai.” (Run as much as you want… in the end, you’ll come back to me.)
Meanwhile, Aarohi keeps running until she finally stops deep inside the jungle, trying to catch her breath.
She looks around and whispers to herself,
“Yaha shayad koi mujhe nahi dhoond payega…” (Maybe no one will find me here…)
But suddenly—
Bright headlights flash directly into her eyes.
Multiple cars surround her.
She tries to open her eyes, but everything looks blurry.
The cars stop.
A door opens.
Footsteps approach her slowly.
A shadow comes closer… closer…
She struggles to see clearly—
And then…
Vihaan stands right in front of her.
The moment Aarohi sees him, her body gives up… and she faints.
Before she can fall, Vihaan catches her instantly in his strong arms.
He lets out a low chuckle and says,
“Kitni energy waste kar di bhagne mein… dekh lo, end mein mere paas hi aana tha.” (You wasted so much energy running… see, in the end, you still came back to me.)
He lifts her in a bridal style—one arm under her knees, the other supporting her back—
And calmly sits inside the car, as if nothing ever happened.
The car moves at high speed, cutting through the silent roads of the night. Inside, everything feels heavy… intense.
Aarohi slowly starts gaining consciousness. Her head feels dizzy, and her body weak.
As her eyes flutter open, the first thing she sees… is Vihaan sitting right beside her.
She instantly tries to move away, panic rising in her chest.
“Gaadi roko! Mujhe abhi utarna hai!” (Stop the car! I want to get down right now!)
Vihaan doesn’t even look at her. His voice is calm… but dangerous.
“Chup chaap baitho.” (Sit quietly.)
Aarohi clenches her fists, anger taking over her fear.
“Maine kaha gaadi roko!” (I said stop the car!)
Before she can say anything else, Vihaan suddenly grabs her wrist tightly and pulls her closer.
“Ek baar keh diya na… samajh nahi aata?” (I told you once… don’t you understand?)
Aarohi tries to free herself, struggling against his grip.
“Chhodo mujhe! Tum samajhte kya ho apne aap ko?” (Leave me! Who do you think you are?)
Vihaan leans slightly closer, his eyes dark and intense.
“Wahi… jiske paas tum ho.” (The one who owns you.)
Aarohi freezes for a second… then her eyes fill with anger.
“Main koi cheez nahi hoon… jo tumhari ho jaun!” (I am not an object… that I’ll belong to you!)
For a moment, silence fills the car.
Then Vihaan smirks slightly.
“Galat… tum cheez nahi ho.” (Wrong… you’re not an object.)
He tightens his grip just a little more.
“Tum meri aadat ho… aur aadatein chhodi nahi jaati.” (You’re my habit… and habits aren’t left behind.)
Aarohi looks at him in disbelief… anger, pain, and helplessness all mixed in her eyes.
“Tumein pyar ka matlab bhi nahi pata.” (You don’t even know the meaning of love.)
Vihaan’s expression turns cold.
“Pyar?” (Love?)
He lets out a soft, almost mocking laugh.
“Mujhe sirf itna pata hai… jo mujhe pasand aata hai, main use haasil karta hoon.” (I only know one thing… whatever I like, I make it mine.)
Aarohi’s heart sinks hearing those words.
She looks away, tears forming in her eyes… but she refuses to let them fall.
Outside, the car finally slows down as they enter the grand Singhania Mansion, fully lit and decorated.
Inside that mansion… their wedding still waits.
And this time—
there is no escape.
Wait for next part.??
