I woke slowly, warmth and comfort fighting to pull me back under. I let myself sink into the feeling of being cosy and half-awake because it wasn’t like I had anything urgent to do or anywhere to be.

Mason’s arm was thrown over my waist, his hand under my shirt and palm splayed out across my chest.
