Chapter 10 #2
“You see that, Cay?” he asked again, this time more guttural and heated. “You see how wet you are for me?”
“Yes, baby, just for you,” I cried out, feeling shivers traveling up and down my spine.
“Only for me,” he growled, rocking into me and hitting a different spot every single time.
I couldn’t respond, my mouth felt like it was permanently stuck open, waiting desperately for his lips… his something.
“Say that shit.” He mashed his lips against mine sloppily while one hand held me in place. It felt like my soul was being pulled from my body and pushed back in each time. I had to be losing it because that wasn’t possible… it couldn’t be. Could it?
I closed my eyes, dropping my head back, feeling the orgasm building. His face was in my neck in seconds, closing the space between us as he wildly ground into me.
Then I felt his teeth, sending the most erotic sensation through my body. His teeth at my neck and his dick drilling inside of me had my body trapped and my mind completely entranced.
“I’m cumming,” I cried and it sent him into overdrive, bottoming into me like he had a point to prove.
“Then do that,” he growled, about to say more but I swallowed his lips, feeling my legs shake and my body shatter.
I came so hard I knew I’d be sore by morning, but I didn’t care.
He was right after me, shooting his seed like he was trying to make the twins he asked me for.
We were so in sync I just knew he needed a moment.
So we sat there, him still inside of me and my arms around his neck as he put most of his weight on me. I didn’t mind. I welcomed it.
“Yo don’t have my bedroom pink and shit. Your room is seventeen different peaches.” Rennix lay back against the headboard of his massive bed.
I laughed. “That was random. And my bedroom isn’t that damn colorful. I just like things to match. As a matter of fact, I like the color scheme you have going on in here. Olive and gold, like you’re a king or something.”
He laughed. “I am and you know that.”
“Do I?”
He laughed. “Stop playing with me before you be bent over that fucking couch.”
I cackled. “Um, no.” Then I held the cheese and crackers up for him to grab from me. We were literally sitting in the bed, eating ham, Colby Jack cheese cubes, and crackers.
“I never thought this was good.”
I laughed. “It ain’t, baby. You just hungry and neither of us have anything else to eat.”
He chewed the cracker sandwich I gave him and shook his head. “I know what I could be eating, but I’m giving you a minute. Plus I ain’t forgot you supposed to be sucking dick.”
I shook my head. “I am, but I’m giving you a minute.” I used his words on him, watching him just exist. The man was fucking gorgeous, skin so moist and tasty looking I was up for sucking dick. With Rennix I was up for a lot, apparently moving in.
“So when are we getting that truck?”
“I don’t know. I mean I’m not the moving type. Packing clothes and moving is one thing, but my furniture. I don’t see a reason to bring that considering you already have furniture here. Cy will need furniture, so I might just leave it. Why are we talking about this now? What’s the rush?”
“Because I’ll look up and you’ll still be living there come Christmastime.
Don’t make me start a fucking fire because on my mama I will.
Call me an arsonist because I’ll have that lil townhouse of yours on channel nine and them calling that motherfucker a westside smokehouse. I’ll light the garage up too.”
“That wouldn’t do anything but let me know you’re a nut.”
“You should already know that, thug.”
He and I joked back and forth for a while until Reminisce called and he went into his office.
During that time I found myself dialing up Harlem.
She had called me earlier, but I was a little hung up.
Now, at eleven at night, I was free to talk.
I laughed at myself before my eyes found hers on the FaceTime.
“Yeah, bitch, you get a man and forget you were my friend first.”
“That is not true. But if we’re talking shit I could say the same thing to you. Uh, hello, you’re like four kids and two sets of twins in, right?”
She shook her head. “Don’t speak that on me. One more is fine, hoe.”
“Tell that to Kinga. Now, to what do I owe this lil phone tag session?”
“I need a video.”
“Of what?” I was so confused.
“I need to learn how to retwist locs.” She spoke into the phone while her eyes caught something in the distance.
“Bitch, what?” I couldn’t help the laughter flowing from my lips because Harlem had never shown interest in hair and now she had some. Given she had twin daughters, I understood, but locs were so specific.
“Yo, you really on that, huh?” Kinga’s voice in the background further confused me.
“Hell yeah. Because ol’ girl was touching you too much for my liking. If she’s doing your fucking hair, then she needs to touch your hair and the only flesh she should be touching is your scalp. The hell she touching your shoulders for?”
He laughed. “And you heard me check her on that shit? Stop tripping, baby, you know where my whole fucking heart resides.”
“Yeah I do, but that doesn’t mean I’m not about to pick up a new skill.”
“Aight, let me know when you master that skill.”
I cackled at their exchange and swooned because they were so cute. “You always give that man hell when you’re pregnant.”
Kinga responded to my statement. “Same shit I said, sis.”
“Hey, screw both of y’all.”
“Don’t get mad at me for being honest.”
“It’s cool. I pray pregnancy on those ovaries before the year ends.”
When she said that I nearly passed out, it was like the wind had been knocked out of me. “You’re so evil.”
Kinga laughed in the background and so did she. None of that was funny.
“So, since I set that up, y’all got me on the godfather spot, right? I ain’t even gonna ask for a namesake but yeah don’t forget about your boy.”
“You turncoat. I just had your back and this is how you do me? I don’t know whose kid you’re gonna be the godfather to because ain’t nothing over here bak?—”
“Yet. We just had this conversation hours ago. Get out that denial, thug.” Rennix let me know he was in the room.
When I looked up, he was in the doorway with a grin on his face. Then he came toward me and climbed on the sofa. His head found its way into my lap while I looked at him like he was crazy.
“Oh, so this is already in motion? I don’t have to pray pregnancy on you.” Harlem had the biggest smirk on her face.
“Damn right. You already know.” He agreed with her, giving me the most determined expression.
That expression alone had me ready to double up on my pills or get on the shot.
“Get that mug off your face, Cay. I already told you how this shit was go—” His sentence was interrupted by the doorbell ringing.
“That bet not be the fucking pizza I ordered two fucking hours ago,” he fussed, moving toward the door. One thing I liked about his home was the fact that everything was on the same floor, not a million stairs like my own… well, my former residence.
“So, he asked me to move in with him.”
“And what did you say? I can’t get a read on you. Are we happy or not? Because I really wanna be happy about this. Ask me why I wanna be happy about this.”
I laughed, rolling my eyes to the ceiling. “Why would Rennix asking me to move in with him make you happy, Harlem?”
“Because moving in with him means you’re less than ten minutes away from me.”
“I didn’t ask you to move in with me. I told you to.” Of course he re-entered the room on that part. When I looked up, his sister was behind him. She was just as pretty as she had been that night at the club.
She walked over and hugged me before cutting her eyes at her brother.
“Hey, Caya girl. Hey, Harlem!” she greeted, instantly walking over to the sofa where I was. She had gotten a look at my phone during our hug.
“Hey, Jade. How are you? What did he do now?” I asked, already knowing she was side eyeing her brother for something.
“When hasn’t he done something?” She rolled her eyes at him.
“Hey, Jade. I need to come by and get some pieces. Text me when you’re in the shop.” Harlem’s greeting was delayed since one of the twins was crying in the background.
“I got you.” Jade smiled then took a seat across from me and began tapping away on her phone while Rennix had his phone to his ear.
The crying continued in Harlem’s background, so she assured me she’d call me back when she got Brooklyn settled. That left me and Jade in the living room. It wasn’t an awkward silence or anything, just her tapping really hard on her phone and irritated.
“Are you alright?” I asked.
She looked up from her phone and sighed. “Yeah, I jus… Ughh.” She sighed before dropping her phone into her purse. “I hate niggas.”
I cackled so hard when she said that because I understood from the heels of my feet to the top of my head. “Girl, me too. Well maybe not that one.” I pointed to her brother. “But the rest of them, I wouldn’t spit to put them out if they were on fire.”
She laughed.
“You bet the fuck not.” Rennix walked over and took a seat as close to me as possible on the couch, like there weren’t four more seats on the sectional.
This man just wanted to be in my skin and I swear I didn’t mind.
I had never been with a man who had to be touching me.
Hell, I was used to being the affectionate one.
With him it was different and most appreciated.
“So, you are moving in together, huh?” Jade asked.
“I know it’s extremely soon bu?—"
“What I tell you about that shit?” Rennix’s voice interrupted my statement while his hand found my chin to make me look at him.
“Had you let me finish my statement, you would’ve heard me say but everything doesn’t work off time and everybody’s pace is different.” He leaned forward and pecked my lips before he turned his attention back to his sister.
“Good answer. Jade, you still fucking with the descendant of MLK?”
Confusion swept my features. “Huh?”
“No, I am not. I was never dating him, Rennix. And if I was, it is kind of a hard sell when your brothers corner him at your door and tell him to empty his pockets like big, childish ass bullies.”
Rennix laughed and I shook my head, only imagining from both of their statements what happened.
“Anyway, I’m not here to talk about my relationship status or lack thereof. As a matter of fact, we should do lunch sometime next week, Caya. Send me your schedule. Rennix, I came to talk about the pool party and fireworks. How are your neighbors?”
He shrugged. “I don’t know. I been staying with her. I’on be out here, well, besides that old hoe Debby. Left me a fucking note to cut my grass like this ain’t my shit. Also what neighbors, Jade? You see that big ass driveway you drove through to get here? Fuck them people.”
I laughed so hard because he really meant that. Rennix could give less than a fuck about any neighbor because half of the time the man didn’t want to be bothered.
“Then why not just get your grass cut, Rennix?”
“Because I’on know anybody with a lawnmower. As a matter of fact, Doug could do this. I mean, since he likes mowing lawns. At least he’ll get paid this time.”
I rolled my eyes to the ceiling at the mention of my neighbor who now avoided me at all costs.
“Who is Doug?” Jade asked, eyes moving from me to Rennix.
“Ol’ boy who was mowing a lawn for some pussy he was never getting.” I felt Rennix looking at me while I purposely didn’t look at his petty ass.
Jade shook her head. “Well see if you can get Doug then.”
I shook my head. “He’s not cutting this grass. Ignore your ignorant ass brother.”
“Yeah aight, you better be ignoring that nigga. Matter of fucking fact, I better not catch him tryna cut your fucking grass again or he’ll catch something more than that fucking lawnmower bag.”
“Nigga, when is he gonna cut my grass if I’m living with you.” I turned and mugged him.
“Simple. Niggas be resourceful.” Then he leaned over and kissed the side of my face. “Told you that you was gonna fuck around and love it over here.”
That was random, but I couldn’t hide the smile that broke through the mug plastered on my face. I turned my face away from him, only for his hand to turn me back in his direction by my chin.
“So cute that I’m hating. Can we get back on topic? Or y’all need a minute?”
“Nope. We don’t. I’m gonna go ca?—”
“Nope, you finna sit your ass right here and listen to these over the top ass plans she probably put together just like I have to.” Rennix locked his hands in mine and kept me in place while I peered at his sister who looked back and forth between the two of us.
“I’m hating so hard right now, ’cause this is so cute. But let’s get to it.” She went into her bag and pulled out what looked like a planner.
