Chapter 9 The Kiss That Broke Everything

I was completely disappointed.

Gu Qunian was always like this. I changed myself over and over for him, sacrificed so much.

And all I got in return was him putting me down again and again.

“Gu Qunian, in your eyes I’m nothing. That worthless, huh? Don’t worry—I’d rather live with a dog than ever come back to you.”

After throwing down those harsh words, I turned to leave.

At that moment, Fu Jiye suddenly pressed my head down and kissed me.

A full mouth-to-mouth kiss.

He kissed me for a solid five minutes.

My brain short-circuited.

I didn’t even register what Fu Jiye was doing.

Everyone froze.

Especially Gu Qunian—his face looked like burnt charcoal.

When the kiss finally ended, Fu Jiye looked at Gu Qunian with pure provocation. “Sorry, he’s mine now. And you are…?”

“Besides, my Xingxing is the best in my eyes. I’m the one who doesn’t deserve him. I chased him for so long and still haven’t won him over.”

“Not like some people who should just donate their useless eyes.”

Fu Jiye was actually holding back—his real attack power was nuclear.

But he didn’t want to scare his treasure.

Gu Qunian’s face turned liver-red with rage. “Liao Xing, you—you’re something else!”

Gu Qunian stormed off in anger.

I was pissed too.

It wasn’t until he left that I finally reacted and exploded.

“Fu Jiye, what the hell was that?!”

Why kiss me out of nowhere?

That was my first kiss.

Fu Jiye clicked his tongue quietly, as if savoring the taste.

“Doing a show means doing it properly. Look—he’s so mad he turned stupid.”

Thinking of Gu Qunian’s ashen face when he left, I couldn’t help laughing.

“Yeah, he really did.”

That move worked. Extremely well.

“But what’s with ‘my Xingxing’? Disgusting much?”

“I never got that greasy even when I was dating Gu Qunian.”

Fu Jiye placed both hands beside my ears. “Liao Xing, why don’t we actually try it?”

“He cheated on you, right? Then get a new one—a hundred times better—and make him die of jealousy. How about it?”

“That’s evil.”

Fu Jiye really knew how to play dirty.

I’d only done it in the heat of the moment earlier, but if I wanted real revenge on Gu Qunian, this wasn’t nearly enough.

“But who should I pick? XX is too ugly, YY is too buff, ZZ is worse—he looks like he needs a man more than I do.”

Fu Jiye tsked in disdain. “Idiot.”

“There’s a ready-made one right in front of you. Why waste it?”

“I’ll let you borrow me for free. Deal?”

I straightened up and thought for two seconds. “Fu Jiye, can you be serious for once?”

“But yeah… this proposal is actually pretty good. Approved.”

Fu Jiye’s lips curved into a victorious smile, a glint of success in his eyes. “Understood.”
