Chapter 9 #3

I didn't know the cultural norms or expectations of this situation, but it was clear from his uncle's reactions that Eun's behavior was not socially acceptable.

It wasn't acceptable to me either, at least, not on the floor of a public restaurant, though I hadn't cared that much about it until his uncle made it clear we weren't alone.

This was the kind of thing I liked in the bedroom, having a man throw me around with aggression and a focus on gentleness.

In all my dating, I never found the combination.

Either men were aggressive to the point it was clear they had learned their skills from porn and thought that a woman who wanted to be thrown around also wanted to be slapped and choked, or they were too passive, checking in any time I made the slightest sound to make sure they weren't hurting me.

I never found the perfect medium, the man who wanted to pound me into oblivion, but when he threw me on the bed, he made sure I landed on a pile of pillows rather than just the mattress.

Eun had stopped me from hitting the ground, catching me and putting himself under me to take the fall.

When he flipped me over, it was such a smooth transition that I wasn't hurt.

He didn't throw me on the floor, he slid me underneath him, like I was precious and delicate, like he was protecting me from the rest of the world with his body.

That, or he couldn't decide if he wanted to mount or devour me.

Either way, if this were in a private bedroom, I would already have my legs around him and my hands tugging down his pants, if I could just get him to say yes instead of no.

However, the fact that his uncle was acting like Eun was about to murder me was also concerning.

Eun tensed his entire body, like he was about to launch across the room. He was going to fight his uncle. I could see the tension in his throat, the curve of it exposed to me where I lay under him. I wanted to bite him, the way I wanted him to bite me.

I was an alien to them. I didn't know what they were doing, and they didn't know what was normal for my species either.

I might as well follow my instincts and do what I wanted. It wasn't like there were any other humans around to judge me.

These guys didn't know what was normal for my species, or not, so I could act however I wanted.

What I wanted was to touch him, with all of me.

I lifted my legs up, wrapping them around his hips as I snaked my arms around the back of his neck, sliding my arms through his glorious, soft snake-like locks I loved so much to touch as they writhed around my fingers.

It took a second as I pressed my calves into him, clamping in with my thighs as I grabbed handfuls of the back of his shirt and hair combined, using my handholds and leg grip to lift myself up off the ground like a baby monkey clinging to its mama.

I didn't rub against him; instead, I hugged him with my whole body.

I pressed my lips against his throat and gave him a soft kiss.

The snarl that rumbled in his body cut off as I parted my lips, pressing my teeth into either side of his throat. He looked like he wanted to bite me, so it seemed only natural that I should just bite him first.

There was a long, long silence.

"Leija," Eun said. I could feel my name vibrate in his vocal cords in my mouth.

Whatever. I growled at him and clenched my jaw, putting a little more pressure on his throat.

His entire body shuddered, and he shifted his weight back, tucking his knees under him as he sat back and up.

I couldn't hold onto his throat without actually biting him, so I relaxed my jaw as I slid down his body until my ass was on his thighs and I could feel his stiff length pressing hard against me through the fabric of his trousers, exactly where I needed it.

We both froze in that position, neither of us moving.

I stared at Eun, who was finally looking at me with wide, shocked eyes that no longer looked lost in wild fury.

Eun's uncle cleared his throat and said something.

Eun stood up, carrying me up to my feet and setting me down on them. He let go of me, and I let go of him as he stepped away from me, turned, and quite literally ran away from me. He rushed back into the kitchen. Eun's uncle walked over to my workbooks, gathered them, and handed them to me.

"Go to the apartment," he said, putting his hands on my shoulders, turning me, and pushing me towards the door.

A customer walked into the restaurant and paused, looking around in confusion. I glanced back to see that several chairs and a table had been knocked over. Eun's uncle said something in a boisterous, friendly voice and began picking up the chairs and tables, straightening the room.

I left, the throbbing need between my legs at war with my own shock over my actions.

On the one hand, I acted on instinct, reacting to Eun in an entirely inappropriate way.

On the other hand, it worked, knocking Eun out of whatever state of madness that was.

On the third hand, the map to the spaceport was in my bra.

I didn't need four hands to decide what to do next.
