Chapter 19
A couple of days passed by in the bliss for our love couple. And today is the day that the Rajvansh family amd Sharma family meet.
The Rajvansh reach the Sharma house and get out of the car. Mrs. Rajvansh did not want to take Shivansh and Ruhanika but Rajveer insisted.
Sunidhi Sharma,"Aaiya aap sab. Baithye na please."
Abhinav Sharma,"Aaiye please. Rajveer beta baithye aap bhi."
All of them took their seats and Aadhya Sharma, Parinidhi's sister brought water for them.
After having water, Rajveer started giving introduction of his family to the Sharmas. Sharmas knew that Rajveer's father was no more.
Shivansh recognised Abhinav Sharma and Sunidhi Sharma. They were his neighbours when he lived with his Ammi.
Shivansh,"Abhi uncle, Su aunty. Kaise hai aap. Pehchana aapne mujhe? Main Shivansh, pehle aapke pados mein rehta tha apni Ammi k saath."
Mr. and Mrs. Sharma had confusion on their faces first when Shivansh spoke, but after he introduced himself, they recognised him.
Abhinav Sharma,"Ansh beta, kaise ho tum beta?"
Shivansh,"Main thik hun uncle."
Sunidhi Sharma was emotional to meet him. She sat beside him and gently touched his face," Ansh. Mera bachha. Kaise ho tum beta?"
Shivansh held her hand and spoke,"Main thik hu Su aunty."
Abhinav Sharma,"Lekin Ansh tum yaha? Mera matlab hai Rajvansh family k saath? Aur tumhari Ammi kaha hai?"
Shivansh's eyes got moist at the mention of his Ammi. He spoke,"Uncle aapke jaane k ek mahine k baad, ghar mein aag lag gayi thi aur Ammi..."
Sunidhi Sharma gasped,"Hey bhagwan." She took Shivansh in a hug and rubbed his back.
After gaining composure, Shivansh continued,"Phir Papa mujhe apne ghar le aaye tha. Tabse main yahi hu. Lekin woh bhi kuch saal baad..."
Abhinav Sharma deciding to lighten the atmosphere spoke,"Arey Ansh beta, ab tum apni Pari se mil lo phir toh. Bahot khus hogi."
Shivansh,"Ji uncle, maine bhi use bohot yaad kiya tha."
Aadhya,"Main Pari ko leke aati hu."
In the meantime, Shivansh introduced them to Ruhanika and told her about them.
After a few minutes, Aadhya brought Parinidhi to the living room.
Sunidhi Sharma,"Dekh toh Pari kon aaya hai?"
Parinidhi was confused by her mother's words as she knew Rajveer was coming with his family but her mother saying this was confusing.
Shivansh stood up and walked towards her. He stood in front of her and spoke,"Mujhe pehchana ki nahi Fairy?"
Parinidhi was shocked to hear the endearment. It was reserved for Shivansh only. They were childhood friends. They played together. Aadhya was more of a reserved girl. She rarely played with them, mostly she was studying, reading, drawing.
Parinidhi,"Anshu Bhaiya? Kaise ho aap?"
Shivansh took her in a side hug and spoke,"Main thik hu fairy. Tu kaisi hai?"
Parinidhi,"Main bhi thik hu. Aunty kaise hai?"
Shivansh couldn't reply her on this one so Sunidhi Sharma chimed in and spoke up to Parinidhi about it. She was really sad to know about it and cried a too, but was consoled by Rajveer. Later, Shivansh intoduced her to Ruhanika. Parinidhi excitedly met her and made her, her best friend. Ruhanika was also happy to have a new friend.
After a bit, they started talking about the wedding of Rajveer and Parinidhi.
Abhinav Sharma,"Bhaisahab, humein toh Rajveer pasand hai humari beti k liye."
Surya-Chachaji,"Ji hunein bhi aapki bachhi bohot pasand aayi hai aur Rajveer aur Parinidhi ek dusre se pyaar karte hai toh aitraaz ki toh baat hi nahi. Kyun Bhabhi?"
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Mujhe Raj se kuch baat karni hai."
Rajveer,"Ji Maa. Aaiye." With that they went to backyard to talk.
In the backyard.
Rajveer,"Ji Maa?!"
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Raj beta dekho tumhare kehne pe main milne aayi hu magar main yeh shaadi nahi chahti. Yeh log middle class family se belong karte hai. Main tumhare liye ek achhi khandaani ladki dhundhungi lekin is ladki se tumhari shaadi nahi hogi."
Rajveer,"Maa, yeh aap kya keh rahi hai?"
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Sahi keh rahi hu Raj. Yeh shaadi hargis nahi hogi. Aur hui toh main ismein shamil nahi houngi. Agar apni Maa nahi khona chahte toh yeh shaadi mat karna."
Rajveer,"Maa yeh zabardasti hai. Aur agar aapka yehi faisla hai toh aap meri bhi baat sun lijiye. Shaadi main Parinidhi se hi karunga. Aur aapko manzoor nahi toh thik hai. Main aur Parinidhi shaadi k baad kahi aur reh lenge."
Mrs. Rajvansh,"RAJVEER!!! Tum aisa nahi kar sakte. Maa hun main tumhari."
Due to Mrs. Rajvansh's loud voice, all the other members present came in the backyard.
Rajveer,"Maa, main janta hun ki aap meri Maa hai aur main aapse pyaar bhi karta hun. Par aapko yeh samajhna hoga ki main Parinidhi se pyaar karta hun aur shaadi usi se karunga. Yeh mera aakhri faisla hai."
Chachaji,"Bhabhi, Raj pyaar karta hai toh aapko kya problem hai? Parinidhi ek acchi ladki hai, aapne bhi dekha hai."
Chachiji,"Par woh middle class family se hai. Humare khandan k barabari mein nahi aate yeh log."
Rajveer,"Aap sab ko ho kya gaya hai? Kya farak padta hai ki Parinidhi ki family middle class hai. Hum pyaar karte hai ek dusre se. Chachu thik keh rahe hai. Aur Parinidhi independent hai apne career mein toh kya problem hai. Bhai aap kahiye na kuch. Bhabhi aap kuch kahiye please."
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Toh ab mere bete ki life k opinion yeh dono denge. Yeh ladki jo khud middle class family se hai. Jisne khud is ladke se shaadi karke ameer banne ka faisle liya tha. Yeh dono jo tumhare papa ka sab kuch le baithe hai unko bolne ka koi haq nahi hai Raj."
Till now, whenever insults were thrown his way, Shivansh had kept quite. But not today, when his wife was involved.
Shivansh,"Bas kijiye please. Meri wife k baare mein kuch bhi bolne ka koi haq nahi hai aapko. Chalo Ruhh." With that Shivansh caught Ruhanika's hands and both of them left from there.
After some time, Rajvanshs returned to their mansion.
Mrs. Rajvansh went to her room followed by Rajveer.
Rajveer,"Maa, aap meri baat sun lijiye. Shaadi main Parinidhi se hi karunga. Aapke pass do option hai, ek, khushi khushi humari shaadi karva dijiye ya phir main yeh ghar chhod k Parinidhi k saath chala jaunga. Faisla aapka hai Maa."
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Raj, tum jante ho tumhare alawa mera koi nahi hai. Tum aisa soch bhi kaise sakte ho ki main tumhe jaane dungi. Main tumhari shaadi karwa dungi Parinidhi se par tum yeh ghar chhod k, mujhe chhod k mat jao. Please." Mrs. Rajvansh broke down in front of Rajveer.
Rajveer calmed her down and spoke,"Thank you Maa, meri khushi ka khayal rakhne k liye."
With that he left from there to talk to Sharma family.
In Mrs. Rajvansh's room.
Surekha,"Bhabhi, aap shaadi k liye mann kaise gayi?"
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Main apne Raj ko nahi kho sakti hun Surekha. Isiliye mujhe manna pada. Lekin ek baar us ladki ko ghar aane do."
After 1 month.
In this one month, Rajveer and Parinidhi has gotten married. They even went for their honeymoon to Italy for 10 days. They returned just a day before. Dadu-Dadi attended wedding and left 1 week later.
It was the morning. Ruhanika and Parinidhi were in kitchen with Ruhanika making breakfast and Parinidhi talking to her as she can't cook.
After finishing cooking, Parinidhi saw Ruhanika setting a tray of food.
Parinidhi,"Bhabhi, yeh tray kis liye?"
Ruhanika,"Woh Shiv aur mere liye hai Pari. Hum nashta room mein karte hai."
Parinidhi,"Par kyun Bhabhi?"
Ruhanika,"Umm, woh, Aunty ko pasand nahi hai ki Shiv unke saath nashta kare toh woh nashta kiye bina hi office jaate the. Toh main unke liye nashta room mein hi le jaati hun.
Parinidhi,"Par Bhabhi, yeh galat hai. Yeh Bhaiya ki bhi toh family hai. Maa unhe sabke saath nashta karne se kaise mana kar sakti hai?"
Shivansh had come down to see for Ruhanika as she had gotten a but late today, so he spoke up,"Unhone mana nahi kiya hai Pari. Par unhe achha nahi lagta. Aur woh kuch keh deti hai toh phir Raj, Aarav aur Aaru ka mood kharab ho jaata hai. Isiliye."
With that, he picked up the tray and spoke,"Chalo Ruhh." Ruhanika followed him after giving a smile to Parinidhi.
After breakfast, everyone went to their respective works and Ruhanika decided to try out a new reciepe, looking in her phone. Shivansh had got her a new phone and a tablet to see recipes and also for her to watch movies and all.
The construction work of Ruhanika's cafe was ongoing and was most likely to be completed in the coming month.
In the evening, Aarohi and Parinidhi came back. Ruhanika got them water and then sat with them to chat.
Parinidhi,"Bhabhi, aap kyun pani laye main le leti na."
Ruhanika,"Koi baat nahi Pari, tum dono bahar se aaye ho thak gaye honge. Aur mujhe koi takleef nahi hai."
Aarohi,"Bhabhi, aaj kuch banaya hai kya aapne?"
It had become Ruhanika's routine to try new reciepe's every other day.
Ruhanika,"Ha Aaru, aaj maine donuts banaye hai."
Aarohi,"Waah Bhabhi, meetha!! Maza aayega. Main leke aati hu."
Parinidhi,"Arey Aaru ruko toh. Sab saath mein dinner k baad khayenge na."
Aarohi pouted and spoke,"Ha Bhabhi, baat tph sahi hai. Agar abhi aur dinner k baad, do time khaye toh main moti ho jaungi. Waise bhi mera 1 kg weight badh gaya hai Bhabhi can you imagine. Hayee mera dukh."
Parinidhi,"Toh exercise kiya karo na."
Aarohi,"Nahi, bohot aalas aati hai Bhabhi."
They all chuckled at Aarohi's words. Then both Aarohi and Parinidhi went to freshen up.
At dinner time.
Everyone was settled on table except Shivansh who had not returned from office.
Ruhanika was sitting in the living room, reading a book. Parinidhi called her for dinner but she refused saying she would wait for Shivansh.
After dinner, youngsters settled in living room with Ruhanika, a movie playing on TV.
Aarav,"Bhabhi, Aaru keh rahi thi aapne Donuts banaye hai?"
Ruhanika,"Haa, main leke aati hun."
Ruhanika brought donuts for all of them and gave them. They all loved it and approved for it to be involved in cafe's menu.
They were all watching TV when Shivansh arrived from office. He came and settled besides Ruhanika. He looked a bit more tired than daily. Ruhanika went to fetch water for him.
Ruhanika,"Shiv, aap fresh ho jaiye. Main khana lagati hun."
Shivansh,"Haa Ruhh. Abhi aaya." And he went to freshen up and Ruhanika went to the kitchen followed by Parinidhi.
Parinidhi,"Bhabhi, main kar detu hu khana garam. Laiye."
Ruhanika,"Koi baat nahi Pari, tum jao bahar. Aur time dekho 9:30 ho rahe hai. Kal office nahi hai."
Parinidhi,"Okay Bhabhi. Good night." And she left after kissing Ruhanika's cheek.
Shivansh came down for dinner after freshening up looking a bit drowsy. He was not in the mood to have dinner die to a throbbing headache but he knew Ruhanika would be hungry waiting for him. So, he forced himself up amd went to have dinner.
He came and sat on the dining table. Ruhanika brought their plates.
Ruhanika,"Shiv, kya hua hai aapko? Thik nahi lag rahe aap."
Shivansh,"Bohot sar dard ho raha hai Ruhh aur neend aa rahi hai."
Ruhanika,"Khana kha lijiye Shiv, phir so jayega."
Shivansh nodded and both had their dinner silently. After dinner, Shivansh directly laid on the bed and slept when Ruhanika went to freshen up.
Ruhanika came and saw Shivansh sleeping. She came to him and pulled blanket over him, that is when she touched him, she felt him burning up with fever.
