Its been a month to Shivansh's accident.
Ruhanika's pregnancy has been going on smoothly except for her morning sickness.
After breakfast, Shivansh and Ruhanika left for hospital as today Shivansh has his checkup.
At the hospital
Doctor,"Mr. Shivansh sab thik hai. Aajse aapki physio therapy start karvani hai. Aur ab aapko crutches ki bhi zaroorat nahi hai toh aap use chhod sakte hai. Aapki file mein sab kuch likha hai aur aap physiotherapist se mil sakte hai."
(Mr. Shivansh everything seems fine. We will start tour physiotherapy from today. And now you can stop using your crutches. I have mentioned everything in your file. You can meet the physiotherapist.)
Shivansh nodded his head and took the file from doctor.
They then met the therapist who suggested a proper treatment for full recovery from paralysis. The physiotherapist told them that he will send one of his juniors at their place for treatment daily.
Ruhanika and Shivansh left from the hospital.
In the car.
Ruhanika saw a chaat shop passing by.
Ruhanika,"Shiv, mujhe chaat khani hai."
(Shiv, I want to eat chaat.)
Shivansh,"Thik hai, ghar chalke chef se keh k banva dunga."
(Okay, I'll ask the chef to make once we reach home.)
Ruhanika,"Nahiiii. Bahar se khani hai. Us chaat wale bhaiye ke thele se."
(Noooo. I want to eat from street. From the stall of that chaat.)
Shivansh,"Ruhh, main mana nahi karta lekin agar tum bimaar pad gayi toh."
(Ruhh, I would have agreed but what if you fell ill.)
Ruhanika,"Shiv, main kaha bimaar hoti hu. Pleaseee. Hum dono ko bhook lagi hai aur bohot mann hai."
(Shiv, please. I don't get sick. We both are hungry and want to eat that.)
Shivansh,"Nashta karna chahiye na ghar pe."
(You should have had your breakfast at home.)
Ruhanika,"Shiv, aap mujhe khila rahe hai. Agar aapne nahi khilayi bahar ki chaat toh aaj jhagda ho jaayega. By God."
(Shiv, are you feeding me? If you won't let me eat the street food then there will be a war. By God.)
Shivansh,"Thik hai. Chaliye devi."
(Okay. Let's go Goddess.)
Ruhanika, turning to the driver, spoke,"Bhaiya, gaadi chaat wale k yaha le lijiye."
(Bhaiya, take the car to the chaat shop.)
At the chaat stall.
Ruhanika,"Bhaiya, do plate pani puri."
(Bhaiya, two plates pani puri.)
Ruhanika devoured the Panipuri along with Shivansh.
Ruhanika,"Bhaiya, do plate Papdi chaat pack kar dijiye."
(Bhaiya, pack two plates chaat.)
Shivansh,"Ruhh, kis liye. Kha toh liya."
(Ruhh, why. You ate it.)
Ruhanika,"Arey, Pari k liye. Hum dono saath mein khayenge na."
(For Pari. We will eat it together.)
Shivansh shook his head and spoke,"Raj khane dega tab na use."
(Raj won't allow it.)
Ruhanika,"Aap kuch mat kahiyega baaki hum dekh lenge."
(You don't say anything, we will see that.)
Shivansh shook his head at her response and both of then left after paying the vendor.
At Rajvansh Mansion.
As soon as Ruhanika and Shivansh entered the mansion, Ruhanika dashed towards Parinidhi sitting in the living room with Rajveer and Mrs. Rajvansh.
Ruhanika,"Pari, dekho main kya leke aayi hu."
(Pari, look what I brought.)
Parinidhi took the plastic bag which Ruhanika gave her and peeked in.
Parinidhi,"Bhabhi, chaat. Oh Bhabhi, aapne toh mood bana diya. Love you Bhabhi."
(Bhabhi, chaat. Oh Bhabhi, you made my day. Love you Bhabhi.)
Parinidhi then asked a staff to bring plate and spoon.
Ruhanika,"Tumhe pata hai, hospital se aate waqt mujhe mann hua tha. Toh maine waha panipuri khali 1 plate aur phir, chaat ghar le aayi taaki hum saath mein kha sake."
(You know, while coming from the hospital, I wanted to eat chaat. I ate panipuri there and got the chaat home so that we both can have it.)
Parinidhi getting excited spoke,"Waah... Bhabhi ho toh aisi."
(Wow, you are the best.)
Ruhanika giggled which was cut short when Rajveer spoke up.
Rajveer,"Idhi, yeh, tum yeh nahi khaogi. Aur Bhabhi aap bhi. Yeh sab khana thik nahi hai abhi bahar ka. Ghar pe chef se keh k banva deta hu aap dono k liye, isi chhodo Idhi."
(Idhi, you won't eat this. And Bhabhi you also. You astound not eat street food in this condition. I'll ask the chef to make some for you both, leave it Idhi.)
Parinidhi took the plate from the staff and brought out the plates of chaat from bag and gave one to Ruhanika and took one for herself.
Parinidhi before taking a bite, spoke,"Maa aap lengi?"
(Maa, will you eat?)
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Nahi tum dono khao."
(No, you both eat.)
Parinidhi nodded, but before she could take a bite, Rajveer again spoke.
Rajveer,"Idhi, main kuch bol raha hu."
(Ishi, I am saying something.)
Parinidhi,"La la la la la la, Bhabhi aapko kuch sunai de raha hai? Mujhe toh nai sunai de raha."
(La la la la la la, Bhabhi can you hear someone. I can't.)
Ruhanika giggled at her words and continued having chaat.
Rajveer,"Bhai, aap bolo na kuch."
(Bhai, you say something.)
Shivansh,"Main kuch nahi keh sakta Raj. Mujhe toh Ruhh ne chaat khane se pehle hi dhamki di hai ki ladna ho toh hi kuch bolna. Ab main Ruhh ko gussa dila k uski tabiyat kharab nahi kar sakta."
Rajveer shook his head at his brother while Ruhanika laughed and passed him a flying kiss.
Ruhanika,"Shiv, aap bohot achhe hai. I Love You."
Shivansh smiled at her antics whereas Rajveer sighed.
Ruhanika had turned more romantic during her pregnancy and she was not shy to express her love to Shiv in front of everyone like before.
Seeing his condition, Shivansh spoke.
Shivansh,"Chinta mat kar. Kha lene de."
After 5 minutes, both the girls were done with their meal, when a staff came and informed them that lunch was ready.
Ruhanika,"Mera toh pet bhar gaya hai, main baad mein kha lu Shiv?!."
Shivansh,"Tum puch rahi ho ki bata rahi ho."
Ruhanika,"Bata rahi hu. Aap kha lijiye."
Parinidhi,"Chale Veer. Mujhe toh lagi hai bhuk."
Rajveer,"Chaliye biwisahiba."
After an hour.
Ruhanika was in her room watching an old classic Barbie movie when Shivansh entered followed by a staff. The staff kept a plate on the bedside table and left.
Shivansh,"Ruhh, chalo thoda sa kha lo."
Ruhanika,"Mujhe nahi khana Shiv. Woh chhodiye, aaiye movie dekhte hai."
Seeing Ruhanika engrossed in the movie, Shivansh decided to feed her himself.
Shivansh sat beside Ruhanika and kept the plate before himself. He made a morsel and forwarded it to Ruhanika.
Ruhanika ate the bite and after chewing spoke.
Ruhanika,"Mujhe nahi khana lekin aap khilayenge toh kha lungi Shiv."
Shivansh,"Main hi khila raha hu. Achhe se kha lo chalo." He fed her another bite.
Ruhanika while eating the bite got teary eyes.
Shivansh saw her tear filled eyes and asked,"Kya baat hai Ruhh?"
Ruhanika,"Shiv, hum na humare babu ko duniya ka saara pyaar denge. Bohot pyaar karenge, uski saari ichha puri karenge. Main na humare babu ko apne haatho se uski pasand ka khana banake khilaungi. Aur aap na kabhi bhi mere babu ko daatenge ya maarenge nahi. Aap sirf use bohot sara pyaar karenge jaise Papa aapse karte the."
Shivansh kept the bite in the plate and wiped her tears with the back of his hand.
Shivansh,"Shhh, Ruhh, rote nahi. Hum humare bachhe ko duniya ka saara pyaar denge. Use kabhi akela nahi lagega. Use hum kabhi khud se dur nahi karenge, humesha gale se laga k rakhenge."
Ruhanika nodded her head like an innocent baby.
Shivansh,"Chalo ab rona band karo, baby ko aane se pehle hi lagega ki mumma mujhse bhi zyada roti hai."
Ruhanika,"Aap kuch bhi mat boliye Shiv."
Both of them laughed and then Shivansh fed her the meal.
Their whole conversation was heard by Mrs. Rajvansh, who was passing by the room.
Mrs. Rajvansh,'Maine kitna galat kiya hai in bachho k saath. Dono ko pyaar ki zaroorat hai. Dono k liye woh dono khud hi kaafi hai. Dono ko kisi se ab koi umeed hi nahi hai, bas unhe ek durse se pyaar karna hai aur apne bachhe se. Dono ka bachpan bura tha, lekin ab woh dono apna bachpan apne bachhe k zariye jeena chahte hai. Hey Bhagwan, maaf kar dijiye, mujhe in bachho k saath aisa nahi karna chahiye tha."
Mrs. Rajvansh knocked on their door.
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Kya main andar aa sakti hu?"
Shivansh and Ruhanika both turned their heads towards the door. Shivansh shifted a bit uncomfortably.
Ruhanika swallowed the bite, she was eating and spoke.
Ruhanika,"Aaiye na Aunty."
Mrs. Rajvansh came inside the room.
Ruhanika,"Baithye na Aunty."
Shivansh forwarded another morsel towards Ruhanika.
Shivansh,"Ye lo Ruhh. Main haath dho k aaya."
Ruhanika nodded at him and turned to Mrs. Rajvansh.
Ruhanika,"Aunty kaise aana hua?"
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Ruhanika, I am Sorry, main yaha se ja rahi thi toh tum dono ki baatein sun li."
Mrs. Rajvansh stopped when Shivansh emerged from the bathroom after washing hands. He came and sat beside Ruhanika and passed her a glass of water.
Shivansh then turned to Mrs. Rajvansh and spoke.
Shivansh,"Koi baat nahi. Aapne intentionally nahi kiya hoga."
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Shivansh, Ruhanika, maine tum dono k saath bohot galat kiya hai. Shivansh tum jabse yaha aaye ho tabse tumhe taane deti rahi hu. Tumhe bura bhala kaha, jabki tumhari toh koi galati bhi nahi thi. Aur na galati tumhare parents ki thi. Galati sirf halat ki thi."
Shivansh nodded his head looking at her.
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Ruhanika, maine tumhe bhi bohot dukh diye hai jab tumhari nayi nayi shaadi hui thi. Tumhe toh kuch pata bhi nahi hoga tab ki tumhe kis baat ki saza mil rahi hai. Maaf kardo bachho."
With that, Mrs. Rajvansh joined her hands in front of them with her eyes full of tears.
Shivansh,"Hum dono ko aapse koi shikayat nahi hai. Please aap aise karke hume sharminda mat kijiye."
Ruhanika nodded and spoke,"Ji aunty, Shiv thik keh rahe hai."
Mrs. Rajvansh nodded and spoke,"Thank You. Aur agar tum dono ki ichha ho aur tum chaho toh mujhe Raj aur Pari ki tarah Maa keh sakte ho."
Shivansh,"Badi Maa keh sakte hai. Ammi ne kaha tha ki agar kabhi aapse milu toh aapko badi maa kahu kyunki aapka darja unse uncha hai Papa ki life mein."
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Tum mujhe badi maa bula sakte ho par sirf tumhari Ammi ne kaha tha isiliye. Dobara darje ki baat mat karna."
Both of them nodded their heads and spoke together,"Ji Badi Maa."
Mrs. Rajvansh smiled at them and soon left.
Next morning.
Today is the day Shivansh starts his physiotherapy.
Shivansh and Ruhanika were sitting in the living room waiting for the physiotherapist. Soon, a girl in her mid 20s came.
Girl,"Hello, I am Dr. Preeti Sahani."
Shivansh nodded his head and spoke,"Hello Doctor."
Doctor,"Maine aapki file padhi hai. Hum aajse hi physio start karenge."
As doctor and Shivansh started talking, Ruhanika patiently heard about every thing Doctor explained.
When the Doctor started the excercise, Ruhanika gave a hand to Shivansh when he felt pain, when the Doctor moved his hand.
Doctor,"Aap rehne dijiye. Thoda pain hoga but yeh zaroori hai."
Ruhanika, a bit embarassed nodded her hand. She patiently sat there.
After 30 minutes, the session came to an end.
Doctor,"Shivansh, aap bilkul chinta mat kijiye. Bohot jaldi aapka haath thik ho jaayega."
After the Doctor left, Shivansh started doing some of his office work and Ruhanika called at her cafe to checkin.
Dinner time.
All of the family was having dinner.
Parinidhi,"Veer mujhe yeh nahi khana."
Rajveer,"Par Idhi yeh toh tumhari pasand ka hai. Tumhe toh pasand hai yeh?"
Parinidhi,"Nahi mujhe yeh nahi khana. Mujhe khani hai Maggie, woh bhi cheese wali."
Aarav,"Kya baat hai aaj, Pari Bhabhi jinko Palak Paneer itna pasand hai, aapko nahi khana, aur Ruhi Bhabhi, aapko Palak Paneer bilkul nahi pasand, aur aap itne mann se kha rahe ho? Waah kya chamatkaar hai."
Aarohi,"Ruhi Bhabhi, lagta hai baby Bhai pe gaya hai."
Parinidhi not the patient one, broke in and spoke,"Meri cheese wali maagieeee....."
Rajveer,"Idhi, ek paratha kha lo, phir maagie bhi kha lena."
Parinidhi,"Nahi, maggie hi chahiye."
Rajveer,"Idhi yeh kya zid hai. Mere haatho se kha lo."
Parinidhi,"Tumhare haatho se toh zeher bhi kha lu, par abhi apne haath ki maggie bana do, please.... dekho baby bhi keh raha hai."
Rajveer,"Thik hai, bana deta hu. Abhi laya maggie."
Parinidhi,"Chili flakes daal dena. Love you."
Aarohi and Aarav, never the ones to back down,"Hunein bhi khani hai Raj bhai."
Surekha,"Tum dono toh kha lo yeh."
Aarohi,"Maagie, mumma."
Aarav,"Ha bhai, humari bhi banana. Main yeh bhi kha raha hu."
Rajveer nodded and turned to Ruhanika,"Bhabhi, aap khayengi?"
Ruhanika,"Bhai, aap bana rahe hai toh thodi se taste karungi. Zyada nahi."
Rajveer nodded,"Bhai aap?"
Shivansh,"Ruhh ki plate se thodi kha lunga."
Rajveer nodded and left for the kitchen.
Parinidhi picked up Rajveer's plate, which was untouched and started going towards kitchen.
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Parinidhi, kaha ja rahi ho tum?"
Parinidhi,"Maa, woh Veer ko bhook lagi hai. Woh maggie banayenge tab tak main yeh khila dungi usko."
Everyone exchanged smile.
Ruhanika whispered in Shivansh's ear,"Yeh dono kitne cute hai na Shiv."
Shivansh smiled and nodded his head.
