Shivansh and Ruhanika reached the mall. Inside, Ruhanika was adamant about baby shopping.
Ruhanika,"Shiv, baby section chalte hai."
(Shiv, let's go to baby section.)
Shivansh,"Baby section? Ruhh tumhe baby k liye shopping karni thi?"
(Baby section? Ruhh you wanted to do shopping for baby?)
Ruhanika grinned widely and spoke,"Ji. Babu aur Laddu k liye. Chaliyeeeee."
(Yes. For Babu and Laddu. Comeeeee.)
They soon reached the baby section. Ruhanika started going through things. She bought gender neutral clothes for her baby, clothes for Kartik, a lot of toys for Kartik and some cute stuff to decorate their room for the baby. She also bought a crib.
Ruhanika,"Ho gaya Shiv."
(Done Shiv.)
Shivansh,"Ruhh, Jaana thak gayi kya?"
(Ruhh, Love, are you tired?)
Ruhanika,"Ji thoda sa par maza bhi bohot aaya."
(Yes, a little bit but it was so fun.)
Shivansh,"Kuch khaogi?"
(Wl you eat something?)
Ruhanika feeling a bit tired, leaned on Shivansh's shoulder and hummed a small yes.
Shivansh held her properly and started going towards food court.
After placing the order, both of them were sitting on their table.
Ruhanika,"Shiv, room decorate karenge ghar chal k."
(Shiv, we will decorate the room after going home.)
Shivansh,"Aaj nahi beta, kal. Thak gayi ho aaj rehne do. Kal karenge."
(Not today baby, tomorrow. You must be tired today. We'll do tomorrow.)
Ruhanika,"Ji."
(Okay.)
Soon their order came and after dinner, and Icecream they went back home.
As they entered the mansion, everyone was sitting in the living room and Kartik was with Aarav and Aarohi, enjoying some moments with them.
Ruhanika and Shivansh went towards the sofa and sat on it. Parinidhi got them water. After that,
Ruhanika,"Pari, ye dekho, main Laddu k liye kitna saman leke aayi hu."
(Pari, look, I got so many things for Laddu.)
Aarav, Aarohi and Parinidhi made a circle around Ruhanika, who handed the bags to Parinidhi.
Aarohi,"Pari Bhabhi, jaldi kholiye....Kittu ko dekhna hai.."
(Pari Bhabhi, hurry up.....Kittu wants to see.)
Parinidhi opened the bags to find lots of clothes and toys for Kartik.
Parinidhi,"Kittu, Badi Mumma kitne saare gifts leke aaye hai. Dekho toh..."
(Kittu, Badi Mumma got so many gifts. See....)
Aarav,"Bhabhi, woh dusre bags mein kya hai?"
(Bhabhi, what's in those bags?)
Ruhanika,"Arey woh yeh mere Babu k liye, aur kuch saman room decorate karne k liye. Babu k liye room bhi decorate karna hai na. Aur yeh crib bhi babu k liye."
(Those are for my Babu, and some stuff is for room decoration. We have to decorate the room for Babu. And this crib is also for Babu.)
While all of them were going through Kartik's stuff, Mrs. Rajvansh spoke up.
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Shivansh, Ruhanika."
Both of them turned to her, who further continued.
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Ruhanika ki Godh Bharai k liye kal Panditji ko bulaya hai muhurat nikalvane k liye."
(Priest is coming tomorrow to fix the date for Ruhanika's baby shower.)
Shivansh and Ruhanika stared at each other.
Surekha,"Arey aise kya dekh rahe ho dono? Godh Bharai hoti hi hai na 7th mahine mein. Parinidhi ki bhi hui thi."
(What are you guys looking at? Baby shower is done in 7th month. Parinidhi's baby shower was also done.)
Ruhanika nodded her head at them.
Next morning,
Shivansh, Ruhanika, Parinidhi, Surekha and Mrs. Rajvansh were sitting in the living room with Panditji. Shivansh has taken leave from office for some months. He is doing work from home.
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Panditji, Ruhanika ki Godh Bharai ki taarik nikalvani thi."
(Panditji, we have to decide the date for Ruhanika's baby shower.)
Panditji,"Aap agle Ravivaar ko Godh Bharai rakh sakte hai."
(You can go for next Sunday.)
Mrs. Rajvansh looked at Shivansh and Ruhanika who nodded their head.
After confirming things with Panditji, he left from there.
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Sunday ko Godh Bharai hai toh Friday ko Mehendi aur Haldi rakhte hai. Beech mein Ruhanika ko 1 din ka rest bhi mil jaayega."
(Baby shower is on Sunday so we can do mehendi and haldi ceremony on Friday. 1 day gap will give rest to Ruhanika.)
Shivansh,"Ji yeh thik rahega."
(That will be okay.)
Surekha,"Bhabhi, jeweller ko parso bula lete hai."
(Bhabhi, we will call the jeweller tomorrow.)
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Thik hai, aur kapdo k liye kal rakhte hai."
(And clothes will be decided tomorrow.)
Ruhanika,"Badi Maa, kapde aur gehno ki zaroorat nahi hai. Woh hai mere pass."
(Badi Maa, there is no need of clothes and jewelry. I have those.)
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Yeh toh shagun ka hota hai."
(Those are blessings.)
Surekha,"Aur Shivansh, driver ko aaj hi bhej do Maasa aur Babasa ko bulane k liye."
(And Shivansh, send driver to bring Grandma and Grandpa.)
Shivansh,"Ji Chachi."
(Okay Aunt.)
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Aur, Surekha, invitations k liye phone tum kar dena."
(And Surekha, call the guests please.)
Surekha nodded her head and Mrs. Rajvansh and Surekha left from there to do work.
Shivansh started doing his office work there and Ruhanika and Parinidhi started talking about random things. And little Kartik was playing on the mat.
Next morning, the clothes were scattered on the floor of Rajvansh Mansion and the ladies were selecting dresses. Shivansh was with Ruhanika, helping her select the dress.
Soon, everyone selected their dresses and the shopkeeper left after taking payment.
Just then, a car stopped outside Rajvansh Mansion and Dadu-Dadi stepped out of it.
After settling, everyone met them one by one.
Dadi,"Aur Ruhi beta, kaisi hai tu? Chota Ansh pareshan toh nahi karta na?"
(And Ruhi, child, how are you? Baby Ansh doesn't trouble you na?)
Shivansh,"Dadi, aapko bhi lagta hai ki beta hoga?"
(Grandma, you also think it will be a boy?)
Dadi,"Ha beta. Pet ka shape dekh k bata sakte hai ki beta hoga ki beti."
(Yes, we can say by seeing the shape of the stomach whether it is a boy or girl.)
Ruhanika,"Ha Dadi, mujhe bhi pehle beta hi chahiye, par inko beti chahiye."

Aarohi,"Bhabhi, pehle matlab? Do baby laoge kya aap?"
(Bhabhi, first means? You will have two babies?)
Shivansh,"Woh sab baad ki baatein hai Aaru. Abhi sirf isi baby pe focus karo."

Dadi,"Haa. Aur is chote se Baal Gopal pe bhi toh focus karo.!!"

Saying this Dadi, picked up Kartik in her lap, who gave her a grin.

Dadu,"Arey Baap ko toh tang karne ka haq hota hai bachho ka. Karne de beta. Aur isi bahane Raj bhi thik ho jaayega."

Everyone laughed at Dadu's statement.
After some time, everyone had lunch and retired to their rooms for rest.
In the evening, in Ruhanika and Shivansh's room.
Ruhanika,"Shiv, hum room decorate kare.?!"
(Shiv, shall we decorate the room?)
Shivansh,"Ha. Tum mujhe kehti jao, waisa waisa main karunga. Tum bas baitho."
(Yes. You tell me what to do, I will do that. You sit here.)
Ruhanika,"Nahiiiii. Shiv, mujhe bhi karna hai."
(Noooo. Shiv, I also want to do.)
Shivansh,"Nahi kaha na. Tumhe pregnancy mein bhi chain nahi hai, pura din uchal kud karti rehti ho. Main karunga jaisa tum kahogi par tum bed pe se hilogi nahi. Bolo manzur hai?"
(No means no. You do not even rest in pregnancy. Jumping here and there whole day. I will do whatever you say but you will sit on on bed. Agree?)
Ruhanika,"Sadu. Aapko pata hai aap karele jaise hai."
(Mean. You know, you are so bitter.)
Shivansh,"Ho gaya? Jaisa bhi hu ab jhelti raho. Aur batao kaha kya kaise lagau."
(Are you done? Whatever I am, you have to handle. Now tell me what to do?)
With that, both of them decorated the room for their baby, with Ruhanika guiding Shivansh.
They plaved the crib on the right side of the bed. They applied flouroscent stars on the ceiling wall, which would glow in the dark. They applied cute teddy and cartoon stickers on the walls.
Dinner time, Dining table.
Today, the whole family was sitting on the dining table for dinner. Dadu-dadi were back after almost 5 months.
A feast was placed on the table, yet our dear Ruhanika was not happy.
Shivansh,"Kya baat hai Ruhh? Ismein se kuch bhi nahi khana?"
(What happened Ruhh? You dont want anything from these?)
Ruhanika,"Nahi. Mujhe kuch aur khana hai, par pata nahi kya?"
(No. I want to eat something else but I don't know what?)
Aarav,"Bhabhi, chinese?"
Ruhanika,"Nahi."
Aarohi,"Bhabhi, chaat?"
Ruhanika,"Naa."
Parinidhi,"Bhabhi, koi dusri sabji, koi rice?"
(Bhabhi, any other item? Some rice?)
Ruhanika shook her head.
Rajveer,"Bhabhi, icecream?"
Ruhanika shook her head amd spoke,"Mujhe ajeeb sa lag raha hai. Bhook lagi hai par kuch khane ka mann nahi hai. Aisa lag raha hai ki kuch bhi khaya toh ulti ho jaayegi."
(I am feeling weird. I am hungry but I don't want to eat anything. I feel if I ate anything them I will puke.)
Dadi,"Ruhi beta, kuch toh khana padega na. Main kheer bana du tere liye?"
(Ruhi, dear, you have to eat something? Shall I will pudding for you?)
Ruhanika's eyes got filled with tears as she spoke,"Nahi Dadi."
(No grandma.)
Shivansh quickly pulled her into his arms and spoke,"Shhh, rote nahi hai. Abhi kuch nahi khana na toh koi baat nahi, baad mein jab achha lage tab kha lena."
(Shhh, don't cry. If you font want to eat anything then leave it. Eat whenever you feel good.)
Ruhanika's tears flew freely as she spoke,"Par mujhe achha nhi lag raha."
(Byt I am not feeling good.)
Shivansh,"Long drive pe le chalu?"
(Wamt to go on a long drive?)
Ruhanika,"Hmmm."
Shivansh turned to the family and spoke,"Hum abhi aaye."
(We'll come soon.)
Then, he helped Ruhanika to the car and both of them left for the drive. Ruhanika leaned back on the seat and stared out of the window.
Shivansh,"Ruhh, thik na lage toh batana aur kuch khane ka mann ho toh bhi."
(Ruhh, tell some if you feel bad and also if you want to eat something.)
Ruhanika,"Ji."
(Okay.)
The car was passing by the streets, when suddenly Ruhanika's eyes fell on a Pav Bhaji stall. She quickly turned towards Shivansh.
Ruhanika,"Shiv, Pav Bhaji...."
Shivansh,"Chalo."
(Let's go.)
Shivansh took the car near the stall and placed the order of Pav Bhaji.
Shivansh,"Toh tum dono ko Pav Bhaji ka mann tha."
(So you both wanted pavbhaji.)
Ruhanika,"Lagta hai Babu bilkul aap par gaya hai."
(Seems like babu is like you.)
Shivansh,"Mujhe toh lagta hai ki baby ki mumma uske papa k rang mein rang chuki hai."
(I think that baby's mumma is colored in baby's papa's colour.)
Ruhanika,"Baby ki mumma toh bohot pehle hi baby k papa k rang mein rang chuki hai. Ab toh yeh rang marne k baad bhi nahi chutega."
(Baby's mumma was colored in baby's papa's colour since long. Now this won't leave even after death.)
Shivansh,"Shhhh , aise marne varne ki baatein mat karo. Abhi toh hum dono ko kitna kuch dekhna hai. Humare bachhe, phir main tumhe Europe dikhana chahta hu....."
(Shhh, don't talk about death. We have to see so much still, our kids, then I want to take you to Europe .)
Ruhanika,"Europe??!!! Sachhi Shiv, jaise movies mein hota hai?"
(Europe?!!! Really Shiv, just like movies?)
Shivansh nodded his head but suddenly her mood shifted.
Ruhanika,"Shiv, baby bohot chota hoga, hum use nahi le jaa sakte."
(Shiv, baby will be really small we can't take him.)
Shivansh,"Ruhh, baby jab bada ho jaayega tab jaayenge. Jab 18-20 saal ka ho jaayega tab. Taaki hum bina kisi chinta k ghum sake."
(Ruhh, when baby will grow up, then we will go. So that we can travel without any tension.)
Just then, there was a knock on the window. It was the Pav bhaji wala with Pav bhaji.
Shivansh took the plate from the man and made a bite. He forwarded it to Ruhanika, who happily ate while talking to Shivansh. After finishing food, they left from there after paying.
Upon reaching mansion, everyone was sitting in the living room chatting and waiting for them. As they settled on the sofa,
Aarav,"Bhai, kuch khaya Bhabhi ne?"
(Bhai, did Bhabhi eat something?)
Shivansh nodded his head.
Aarohi,"Kya khaya?"
(What did you eat?)
Shivansh,"Pav Bhaji."
Aarav,"Aayein?! Achanak pavbhaji ki craving?"
(Pavbhaji? Out of nowhere.)
Ruhanika,"Haa, woh lagta hai Babu Shiv pe gaya hai, isiliye unki pasand ka khana hi khane ka mann hota hai."
(Yeah, I think baby is like Shiv, that is why I wanted to eat Shiv's favorite food.)
Aarohi,"Bhai, aapko Pavbhaji pasand hai?"
(Bhai you love pavbhaji?)
Shivansh nodded.
After chatting for some more time, they all retired to their room.
Next morning,
Jeweller was present in the living room and all the ladies were selecting jewellery, while Ruhanika was sitting beside Shivansh who was checking out the jewellery for her.
Surekha,"Arey Ruhanika, tum dekho na gehne. Tumhe pasand aaye woh phir Shivansh se puchna."
(Ruhanika, you check out the jewellery. If you like something then ask Shivansh.)
Ruhanika,"Chachi, woh Shiv select kar rahe hai. Mujhe confusion hoti hai toh Shiv hi humesha kar dete hai select."
(Aunty, Shiv is selecting, I get confused in such things.)
Parinidhi, Aarohi,"Awwwww."
At night, Ruhanika and Shivansh's room.
It was 2 at night when Ruhanika woke up from her sleep and was not able to sleep again, so she started scrolling through her instagram. While scrolling through instagram, she came across a pasta receipe which she craved.
Ruhanika gently shook Shivansh.
"Shiv, uthiye na...."
(Shiv, wake up...)
Shivansh immediately sat up and asked,"Ruhh, kya hua? Thik ho tum? Kahi pain ho raha hai? Doctor k pass jaana hai?"
(Ruhh, what happened? Are you okay? Are you in pain? Want to got to doctor?)
Ruhanika's eyes were filled with tears of guilt. Guilt of waking up Shivansh from his sleep.
Ruhanika,"Shiv, mujhe yeh wala pasta khana hai."
(Shiv, I want to eat this pasta.)
Shivansh,"Toh ismein rone ki kya baat hai. Main abhi bana k lata hu. Lao recipe."
(What is there to cry? I'll make it right now. Gimme the recipe.)
Ruhanika,"Main bhi chalti hu aapke saath." She spoke excitedly.
(I'll also come with you.)
Shivansh went to wash his face and them came. He helped Ruhanika to the kitchen.
In the kitchen,
Shivansh made Ruhanika sit on the kitchen counter and got to work.
Shivansh kept the pasta to boil and started preparring for the sauce. He charred the bellpepper and onion and tomato and garlic. Then he shifted that to a blender along with oregano, chilli flakes, corriender, salt, pepper and some cheese. He then added the sauce to the pan to let it cook.
While the sauce was cooking,
Shivansh,"Princess Ruhanika, would you please give me the honour of a dance with you?"
Ruhanika giggled and spoke,"Shiv, dance yaha?"
(Shiv, dance here?)
Shivansh still bowing before her looked in her eyes and nodded.
Ruhanika,"The pleasure is all mine, Your Highness."
Shivansh started the song perfect on very low volume and started slow dancing with Ruhanika, careful not to excert her.
Soon the pasta was done and Shivansh served it in a plate. He started feeding it to Ruhanika.
Ruhanika,"Ummmm, Shiv bohot tasty hai."
(Ummmmm, Shiv, it's very tasty.)
Shivansh smiled at her and fed her all the pasta. He then gave her water and then spoke.
Shivansh,"Bas? Ab sona hai?"
(Done? Now sleep?)
Ruhanika nodded her head.
In the room, Shivansh made Ruhanika sleep on the bed and took his place. As soon as Shivansh laid on the bed, Ruhanika shifted close to him and kept her bead on his cbest and both of them slept peacefully.
A few days later,
Ruhanika was ready in a simple comfortable pink Indian dress. Her hair were tied in a beautiful braid witg flowers in it. She wore small earrings and her mangalsutra as the jewellery.
Shivansh was dressed in a blue pathani, complimenting Ruhanika's beauty.
Today was Ruhanika's haldi and mehendi for the baby shower.
One by one, everyone applied a little bit of haldi on Ruhanika's cheeks, starting with Dadu, Dadi, Mrs. Rajvansh, Surekha, Surya.
Then came the younger ones. Rajveer applied haldi carefuly followed by Parinidhi, Aarav, Aarohi. Then Parinidhi brought Kartik and made him apply a little bit of haldi on Ruhanika. Everyone awed at the site. Then lastly came Shivansh.
Shivansh delicately applied haldi on Ruhanika, who did the same with him.
Ruhanika,"Baby dono ka hai na, toh haldi bhi dono ko."
(Baby is of both of us, so haldi will be applied to both of us.)
After that,
Dadi,"Ansh beta, Ruhi ko leja aur haldi saaf kara de. Phir mehendi start karenge."
(Ansh, take Ruhi with you and clean the haldi. Then mehendi will be started.)
Shivansh took Ruhanika to clean the haldi.
After that, Ruhanika was made to sit comfortably on the sofa and the mehendi artist started her work. Shivansh was by her side all the time. The mehendi artist completed the mehendi in 3 hours.
Ruhanika's one palm had a picture of Krishnaji with his mother and other palm had a baby with his parents.
Aarohi,"Bhai aapki turn."
(Bhai, your turn.)
Shivansh,"Zaroor."
(Sure.)
The mehendi artist drew a small baby with parents design on Shivansh's palm.
After finishing the ceremony everyone reitred to their rooms. Ruhanika was asked to rest. Shivansh fed her dinner in their room only.
