Chapter 33
Both of them woke up. After freshening up and having a bath, Shivansh decided to get Ruhanika ready first.
Ruhanika got dressed in a beautiful red Lucknowi lehenga.
Then Shivansh made her sit on the vanity stool and Ruhanika was doing her skincare amd light makeup while Shivansh was making her wear the jewellery. Shivansh made her wear the mangalsutra, Payal, and then bangles. He then helped Ruhanika do her hair. Ruhanika tied her hair in a bun. Then Shivansh tied gajra around her hair. And then he made her wear the earrings and finally filled her hairline with sindoor. And now Ruhanika was completely ready for her Godh Bharai. Shivansh applied a dot of Kajal behind her ear to protect her from evil eyes.
Shivansh, 'I cannot even express how beautiful my Ruhh is looking right now, dressed for our Godh Bharai, and carrying our baby. She is looking like a Goddess, absolutely beautiful and magical. The vermillion in her hairline, the mangalsutra laying gracefuly around her neck, the bangles in her wrists, those payal, the gajra, everything is enhancing my Ruhh's beauty. And most importantly the glow on my Ruhh's face, the glow of becoming a mother, the glow of carrying our baby, the glow of nurturing a baby.'
Shivansh helped Ruhanika from the vanity table to the bed and made her comfortably.
Shivansh, "Ruhh, tum thoda rest karo, main ready hoke aaya." With that, he left after kissing her forehead.
(Ruhh, rest for sometime, I'll get ready in a few minutes.)
Shivansh went to the closet and came out after getting ready in a white pathani. Hair styled perfectly, sleeves folded till elbow, one wrist had the watch and other the bracelet which Ruhanika gifted.
Ruhanika was mesmerized seeing Shivansh.
Ruhanika,'Hayee, yeh kitne sundar lag rahe hai. Safed rang mein toh yeh kitne pavitra aur divya rahe hai. Mahadev inhe buri nazar se humesha bachana.'
(Awww, he is looking so beautiful today. He looks so pure amd divine in this white color. God, please protect him from evil eyes.)
Shivansh came near Ruhanika, who gestured him to come near her. She took some Kajal from her waterline on her ring finger and applied behind Shivansh's ear.
Ruhanika,"Aapko kisi ki nazar na lage Shiv."
(May you be protected from evil eyes Shiv.)
Shivansh, "Arey, mujhe kiski nazar lagegi Ruhh?"
(Who would cast evil eye on me Ruhh?)
Ruhanika,"Arey aapko dekh k main hi mantramugdh ho gayi hu toh aapko kisi aur ki nazar lag gai toh. Isiliye."
(I am so mesmerized seeing you, then anyone can cast evil eyes on you.)
The guests were present. The ladies were present in the living room, while the gents were in the garden area. Only the gents of Rajvansh family were present in the living room.
Ruhanika and Shivansh were sitting for the Puja, being conducted by the Panditji.
After Puja, Ruhanika was made to sit on the Chair in the middle of the living room. One by one, all the ladies presented Ruhanika with gifts and blessings. Shivansh was by her side all the time.
After the rituals, all were sitting when a game like ritual was to be performed.
Random Aunty,"Chalo Ruhanika, ab tumhe apne pati ko ek gaana dedicate karna hoga."
(Now Ruhanika, you have to dedicate a song to your husband.)
Aarohi,"Come on Bhabhi."
Ruhanika,"Main....kaise.."

Shivansh's eyes were fixed on Ruhanika only, who quickly touched her one ear and mouthed a sorry. Shivansh shook his head at her with a light smile.
Dadi,"Achha chalo sab, ab khana kha lo. Rasmein saari khatam hui. Aur Ruhi beta, tujhe room mein jaana hai toh ja aaram kar main khana bhijwati hu."
(OK, now everyone have lunch. The rituals are over now. And Ruhi, do you want to go to your room? I will send lunch.)
Ruhanika,"Nahi Dadi. Thik hai yahi pe."

Then everyone had their lunch after which everyone retired to their rooms.
As they came in the room, Shivansh helped Ruhanika change into comfortable clothes. He himself changed.
Later both of them were laying out he bed with Ruhanika's head on Shivansh's chest.
Shivansh was stroking her hair when he spoke,"Ruhh??"
Ruhanika hummed.
Shivansh,"Kadva ho gaya hu? Aur sakhth bhi lagta hu ab?"
(I am bitter? And strict as well?)
Ruhanika,"Ha toh....bilkul perfect gaana tha aapke liye."
(Ofcourse...the song was perfect for you.)
Shivansh,"Achha??"
(Really?)
Ruhanika,"Ha toh, jab mann ka nahi karne dete aap tab neem jaise kadve lagte hai, phir jab saari cravings satisfy karte hai aap tab sehed jaise meethe lagte hai. Aur phir jab aap bohot saara pyaar karte ho tab aap naran naram se lagte ho aur jab daant te hai aap tab kitne sakht lagte hai."

Ruhanika flashed a huge sheepish grim to him.
Shivansh,"Achha, waise taste karke batao na kitna kadva hu?"
(Btw, taste and tell how bitter I am right now.)
Ruhanika's cheeks turned darkest shade of red,"Aapko sharam nahi aati?"
(Don't you feel shy?)
Shivansh,"Ismein sharmane ki kya baat hai. Chalo chalo chakh k batao.."
(What is there to be shy? Come on taste and tell.)
Ruhanika gently placed her lips on his and kissed him passionately. After pulling apart, Shivansh raised his eyebrows at her.
Ruhanika,"Meethe meethe se lag rahe hai abhi toh."
(You tasted sweet right now.)
Shivansh,"Achha?!!.."
(Really??)
And both of them burst out laughing.
2 months later.
It has been 2 months since Godh Bharai and baby can be here any time.
Shivansh and Ruhanika were in their room on a random afternoon.
Ruhanika,"Shiv, baby k naam k baare mein kya socha hai aapne?"
(Shiv, what have you thought about baby's name?)
Shivansh,"Ruhh, abhi se kaise soch sakte hai? Panditji kundli k hisaab se letter nikalenge phir hum naam rakh payenge na."
(Ruhh, how can we decide now? Panditji will give a letter based on his birth date and time and then we can decide no?)
Ruhanika,"Arey, par humein naam ki list bana k rakhni chahiye na, aise achanak waha par humein naam kaise sujhega."
(Ohh, but we can make a list of name no, how can we decide the name at that moment itself?)
Shivansh,"Baat toh tumhari sahi hai. Ek kaam karte hai, saare letters se hum ek bete ka aur ek beti ka naam select karke rakhte hai."

Ruhanika,"Yeh idea bohot achha hai."

Shivansh,"I'll get the tablet."
After that, they were spending the time finding baby names.
After hald an hour, Ruhanika felt pain. Not the strong one, but her contractions started.
Ruhanika,"Owu, Shiv, mujhe dard ho raha hai, I think...."
(Owu, Shiv, it's paining. I think...)
Shivansh,"Really, baby aane wala hai. Humein hospital chalna chahiye. Main bag leke aaya."
(Really, baby's coming. We should go to hospital. I'll get the bag.)
While going to get the bag, he called Rajveer and informed him about the same.
Shivansh carefully helped Ruhanika to the gate and they met Parinidhi sitting in the living room with Mrs Rajvansh amd Surekha.
Parinidhi,"Bhai, hospital?"
Shivansh,"Ha Pari. Raj ko call kar diya hai."
(Yes Pari. I have called Raj.)
Parinidhi,"Bhai, main bhi chalti hu."
(Bhai, I will also come.)
Shivansh,"Kartik?"
Mrs Rajvansh,"Hum dhyaan rakhenge Kartik ka, tum jao."
(We'll take care of Kartik, you go.)
All three of them settled in the car. Shivansh took the driving seat and Parinidhi settled on the backseat with Ruhanika.
They soon reached hospital and Ruhanika was taken to the ward.
Doctor,"Abhi time hai Mr. Rajvansh."
(There is still time Mr. Rajvansh.)
Rajveer and Aarav reached hospital soon.
After about 2 hours, doctor took Ruhanika to the OT.
The family was waiting outside the OT and Shivansh was allowed into the OT.
After 2 hours, baby was born. Ruhanika was very tired after this. The doctor informed them that it's a boy.
Shivansh kissed Ruhanika on the forehead and muttered a Thank you.
The doctor asked Shivansh to move out as nurses cleaned the baby and Ruhanika. After cleaning Ruhanika, she was shifted to private room.
The baby was with nurse for the checkup.
The family entered the room.
Shivansh sat on the stool beside the bed where Ruhanika was laying.
Aarav,"Bhabhi, thank you, mujhe wapis chachu banane ke liye."
(Bhabhi, thank you, for making me an uncle once again.)
Rajveer,"Thank you Bhabhi."
Parinidhi,"Thank you Bhabhi and naye mummy papa ko congratulations...!!!"
(Thank you Bhabhi and congratulations to the new parents.)
Shivansh and Ruhanika shared an eye contact and Shivansh blinked at her.
Ruhanika,"Naye naye Chote Papa aur Choti mumma ko aur Chachu ko bhi congratulations....!!!"
(Congratulations to New Chote Papa and choti mumma and Chachu as well.)
(Choti papa-father's younger brother.)

Rajveer,"Bhai.....Bhabhi.."
Shivansh,"Bilkul. Congrats teeno ko."
(Ofcourse, congrats to all three.)
The nurse soon entered with the baby.
Shivansh took the baby in his arms and stared at him lovingly, who was yet to open his eyes.
Shivansh,"Thank you so much Ruhh....I Love You."
Ruhanika,"Main jeet gai Shiv, beta hi hua."
(I won Shiv, it's a boy.)
Shivansh,"Toh next try mein beti hogi."
(It will be a girl next time.)
Everyone chuckled.
Parinidhi and Rajveer made the bed comfortable for Ruhanika to sit and then Shivansh handed the baby to Ruhanika.
As soon as baby was in Ruhanika's arms, he opened his eyes.
Aarav,"Abhi tak aankhein nahi kholi thi, apni mumma k pass aate hi aankhein khol di."
(Till now his eyes were closed and as soon as he came to his mumma, he opened his eyes.)
Parinidhi,"Lagta hai mumma ka ladla hoga."
(Seems like he will be mama's boy.)
Aarohi,"Jaise Kittu apni mumma ka ladla hai."
(Just like Kittu.)
Ruhanika,"Laddu...apne Bhai se milne aaya hai?"
(Laddu....he has come to meet his brother?)
Parinidhi,"Ji Bhabhi. Maine socha sab aapse milne aa rahe hai toh Aaru se kahu isse bhi leti aaye, phir main isse leke jaldi chali jaungi."

Shivansh,"Bohot achha kiya Pari."

Ruhanika,"Phir toh bohot sundar hoga bada hoke bhi."

Parinidhi took Kartik in her arms and moved towards Ruhanika.
Parinidhi,"Dekho toh Kittu, tumhara chota bhai. Hi bolo."
(See Kittu, your baby brother. Say hi.)
Kartik,"Aaaa aaa."
Everyone chuckled at him.
Just then a doctor entered with nurse.
Doctor,"Kaisi ho aap Ruhanika?"
(How are you Ruhanika?)
Ruhanika,"Thik hu doctor."
(I am okay doctor.)
Doctor,"Okay. Toh ab aapko baby ko feed karana hoga."
(Okay. Now you have to feed the baby.)
Everyone started leaving the room, only Shivansh stayed back.
After feeding the baby, baby slept.
Shivansh,"Ruhh, tum bhi let jao. Aaram karo."
(Ruhh, you also lay down. Take rest.)
Shivansh made her lay down comfortably and was going towards the couch when Ruhanika held his wrist, silently asking him to stay close.
Understanding her, Shivansh made himself comfortable besides her. Ruhanika kept her head on his chest and started drawing circles absentmindedly.
Ruhanika,"Aaj main bohot khush hu Shiv, hum mumma papa ban gaye."
(Shiv, I am very happy today, we are parents now.)
Shivansh,"Sach mein Ruhh. Saari ichhayein puri ho gai ho aisa lagta hai. Ab toh kuch nahi chahiye upar wale se."
(Really Ruhh. It's like all the wishes came true. Now I don't want to ask anything from God.)
Ruhanika,"Shiv, Babu kitna sundar hai na. Bilkul aap pe jaayega dekhiyega."
(Shiv, Babu is so pretty. He will be exactly like you.)
Shivansh,"Tumhe toh chota Shiv hi chahiye tha na?"

Ruhanika,"Ha, main toh bohot khush hu."

With that, Shivansh started patting Ruhanika's head and made her sleep.
2 days later.
Ruhanika is getting discharged today. Rajveer and Aarav has come to pick them up.
Rajveer carefully held the baby while Shivansh helped Ruhanika to the car. Shivansh made Ruhanika sit in the backseat and he sat besides her. Rajveer handed the baby to Shivansh and took the passenger seat. Aarav started the car to home.
As they reached the Rajvansh mansion, whole family was present at the gate. Rajveer took the baby and Shivansh helped Ruhanika.
As they were standing at the threshold of the house, Rajveer handed the baby to Shivansh. Mrs. Rajvansh did their Aarti and then they entered inside.
The house was decorated with yellow and white balloons.
Everyone took their seats on the sofa.
Ruhanika,"Yeh balloons kitne sundar lag rahe hai."
(These balloons look so pretty.)
Aarohi,"Haina Bhabhi. Maine kiya hai."
(Right Bhabhi. I did it.)
Aarav,"Kya maine kiya hai? Saare balloons mein hawa toh mujhse bharvai hai. Fafde fool gaye mere."
(What I did it? I was the one who filled air in all the balloons. My lungs are tired.)
Parinidhi,"Fefde kaha se fool gaye Aarav? Hawa toh pump se bhari thi?"
(How did lungs got tired Aarav? You filled air by the pump?)
Aarav,"Ha toh? Aap log mujhe gubbare wala samajhte ho kya? Kittu aaya tha tab bhi mujhse hi balloons bharvaye the aur aaj bhi. Aur credit toh yeh Aaru ki bachhi le jaati hai."
(So what? Do you guys take me as a Balloon man? When Kittu came, that time also I did this. And whole credit is taken by Aaru.)
Rajveer,"Ha toh kya hua. Baby k naam karan pe bhi tujhe hi karna hai."
(So what? You have to do this again on baby's naming ceremony.)
Aarav,"Koi mujhse pyaar hi nahi karta."
(Nobody loves me.)
Ruhanika,"Aarav, balloons bohot sundar hai. Baby apne Chachu ko thank you bol raha hai."
(Aarav, balloons are looking very pretty. Baby says thanks to his uncle.)
Aarav,"Ek aap hi achhi ho Bhabhi. Pari Bhabhi pe bhi Raj bhai ka asar ho gaya hai. Aur mere chote panther, aaja mere pass."
(Only you are nice to me Bhabhi. Pari Bhabhi has also become like Raj bhai. And my baby Panther, come to me.)
Aarohi,"Aarav, tum kya chidiya ghar se aaye ho? Kittu ko chote sher bulate ho, aur ab naye baby ko chote panther."
(Aarav, are you from a zoo? You call Kittu as baby Lion and now baby as Baby Panther?)
Aarav,"Arey tu chup reh. Abhi toh jaisi Kittu ki video banaye thi waise iski bhi banani hai, lion king wali. Naam karan k din banaunga. Aur tu shoot karegi. Samjhi."
(Will you keep your mouth shut? I even have to make a video of him like I made of Kittu, the lion king entry one. I will make it on the naming ceremony day. And you will shoot it. Got it?)
Aarohi,"Shiv bhai, kya hai yeh?"
(Shiv, Bhai, what is this?)
Ruhanika,"Arey Aaru, woh video toh mujhe bhi bohot pasand hai. Aarav zaroor banana."
(Oh Aaru, even I like that video a lot. Aarav, definitely make it.)
Shivansh,"Ab bol Aaru, kya ab main kuch bol sakta hu?"
(Now what do I say Aaru?)
Ruhanika,"Arey Shiv, woh video kitni achhi lagti hai. Laddu ki banai thi Aarav ne kitna mast lag raha tha."
(Ohh Shiv, that video is so nice. Aarav made that of Laddu, he looked so good.)
Aarohi,"Bhai, Bhabhi ko Aarav se dur rakho, galat asar pad raha hai."
(Bhai, keep Bhabhi away from Aarav. He is spoiling her.)
Everyone laughed out loud heartily while Ruhanika and Aarav sulked.
Mrs. Rajvansh,"Shivansh, ab Ruhanika aur baby ko room mein le jao. Aaram karvao."
(Shivansh, take Ruhanika to your room. Both of them need rest.)
In the room,
Ruhanika,"Babu, dekho yeh humara room hai. Sundar hai na?"
(Babu, see this is our room. It's pretty na?)
Shivansh,"Ruhh, chalo, bed pe."
(Ruhh, come on, get on the bed.)
Ruhanika sat on the bed and Shivansh handed the baby to her.
Ruhanika,"Shiv, ise dudh pila k sula deti hu pehle."
(Shiv, first I'll feed him and make him sleep.)
Shivansh,"Thik hai, tab tak main tumhare liye kapde vagera nikal deta hu. Ise feed karane k baad tum bhi naha k fresh ho jaana. Aur yeh dudh pile uske baad mujhe bula lena, main sula dunga, burp kara k."
(Okay, till then I'll make arrangements for you to freshen up. Freshen up after feeding him. And call me as soon as he finishes feeding, I'll make him sleep after burping.)
Ruhanika nodded and started feeding the baby.
After finishing, She handed the baby to Shivansh and went to freshen up.
Shivansh who started strolling in the room spoke,"Bathroom ka door lock mat karna. Main help karne aa raha hu, ya phir ruko na 5 minute."
(Don't lock the bathroom door. I'll come and help or else wait for a few minutes.)
Ruhanika,"Thik hai. Rukti hu."
(Okay, I'll wait.)
After making baby sleep in his crib, Shivansh took Ruhanika to the bathroom to help her have a bath and freshen up.
After coming out,
Shivansh,"Baby abhi uthega nahi, tum bhi so jao. Aur main jaag hi raha hu."
(Baby won't wake up, you sleep. I'll stay awake.)
Ruhanika,"Aap bhi aaram kar lijiye. Woh uthega toh hum uth jaayenge."
(You also take rest. We'll wake up if he wakes up.)
After that, both of them slept peacefully.
