"I told you Harper,you have to take the first step!" "But the message is just too-" Harper's phone began to ring and she almost dropped it upon seeing who was calling her "Go on answer it!" "But I don't want to!" Tina snatched the phone from her and answered the call before handing it back to Harper "H-hello?" "What kind of nightgown should I buy? I've never bought anything like that before so I need your opinion" "Uh? Oh any kind is fine" "Ok" "Wait!" "Yes?" "Should I send my measurements?" "No need, I've held you before"
Harper was stunned by his response and her face was as red as a ripe tomato. "Ooh,that was unexpected! I guess you're gonna find out if he's up to the task tonight" "Shut up Tina!" "Fine. Well then I'll get going" "But-" "Byeeee" "Oh Good Lord!"
A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door and Harper opened it and saw Harrison on the other side. "Here's your nightgown" "Oh thanks,where are the green onions?" "I'll handle the dinner tonight" "But you're just coming back from work!" "It's fine, check it out to see if you like it" "Uh?" "The nightgown" "Sure?" Harper watched as Harrison took off his suit jacket and rolled his sleeves as he walked into the kitchen.
She sat down and opened up the paper bag to see a black silk camisole with a butterfly bow at the waist,not too revealing.
Just then she noticed a small blue dress at the bottom of the bag and she saw that it was like those from the big brand she used to like. Ladies love new clothes, and Harper wasn't an exception. Due to her situation,she hadn't bought new clothes in a long time. Even if it was a knockoff,it was her husband that bought it for her and she really loved it.
Just then an aroma wafted in from the kitchen and Harper walked in to see Harrison setting up the table "You're here? Dinner's ready,sit down"
