"What did you just say? Miss Miller wants to sign with Harper?!" "Y-yes Miss" "B-but she was supposed to sign with me!" Chloe turned to look at Harper with bloodshot eyes "What did you do?!" "I-" Harper happened to make eye contact with Harrison at that moment and she didn't know why, but staring into his grey eyes unexpectedly gave her confidence.
"I'm not telling you!" "Is Miss Miller crazy? How could she have decided to sign with you?!" "So is that your true opinion of me?"
A young lady arrived causing yet another stir in the crowd "Who is that?" "Isn't that Miss Miller?" "You mean Ivy Miller?" "Oh my God! She's the world's youngest international model! I can't believe I actually got to see her!" Several people who were Ivy's fans rushed towards her in an attempt to get an autograph. Luckily her bodyguards acted quickly and formed a wall around her, stopping the several ladies (and guys) from being able to reach her "Everyone step back!" The bodyguard's deep and menacing voice scared everyone who immediately stepped back.
The bodyguards also moved back and Ivy was finally able to step forward "I decided to sign with Miss Harper because her design drafts and character were much better than yours. Is that a problem?" "I-" William stopped Chloe from talking and stepped forward instead "Miss Miller, I'd advise you not to sign with Harper" "Why not?" "She's not an employee of the company" "Is that so? Well then hire her. If you don't,I have just the right place where she can get a proper job and I'll sign with that company instead. Come on Miss Harper, let's go" "Oh, okay"
William watched as Ivy left with Harper with clenched fists. He clenched his fist even harder before finally speaking "Fine! I'll hire her!". All the companies Ivy Miller had worked with became very famous, earning a lot of money. Ivy had only asked for Harper to be hired because of her design drafts right? Very well,he could simply fire Harper as soon as the contract period was over!
"That's a very good decision" Ivy turned around and smiled before patting Harper's arm "Well then, I'll see you tomorrow Harper" "Oh, well then, goodbye Miss Miller" "Please,call me Ivy". Ivy winked at Harper before getting into her car.
As soon as Ivy left, William turned to leave as well; taking Chloe and Catherine with him. Harrison walked by and Harper stepped aside to create way for him but she felt him touch her palm. She looked up and saw him holding her hand "Aren't you working?" "I just got off my shift" "Oh". And so the young couple went home together.
The sound of crashing filled the entire house when the Carson family got back home "Chloe dear, calm down!" "Why does she have to ruin all my plans? Why!" "I know you're mad right now but you need to take it easy" "No I won't! Dad scolded me just now and it's all because of Harper! Mom, can't you do something?!" "There's no need to worry dear, I'll take care of that girl myself!"
