This..the man standing in front of Harper looked exactly like Harrison,it was as if they were carved from the same mold. Harper would have thought they were the same person if not for the subtle differences between them. They both had grey eyes, but Harrison's eyes were a much darker shade than his. Harrison was quite tall, about 6'2 but the man standing in front of her now was probably just 6'0 tall. Also, Harrison gave out a cold vibe while this guy gave out a warm and sunny vibe. But still, how could two completely different people look exactly the same as if they were twins? Her husband most definitely doesn't have a twin brother!
Wait,why was she still calling Harrison her husband? She was going to divorce him in a few days! Seems like her feelings for him had grown even more beyond her expectations. But while she was at home deeply missing him,he was indulging himself in pleasure with a woman. Why was life so harsh to her?
Jason looked at the woman in front of him who seemed lost in thought and couldn't help but ask "Is anything the matter,Miss?" This caused Harper to snap out of her bitter thoughts "Sorry. You just happen to look like someone I know" "Oh I see". Harper moved aside and the man left but her gaze was still on him. That's when she noticed a burly man in black who was looking at her while hiding behind a corner. Was she being followed?
Harper was already in a bad mood so she walked towards the man, startling him. "Are you following me?!" "Well I-" "I asked you a simple question!" "Sorry ma'am. My- my boss wants to meet with you" "And who is that?" "Whitney Corp's CEO" "Uh?"
After nearly five minutes of unbearable torture,the elevator finally arrived at the presidential suite. Harper and the bodyguard stepped out and when they reached a door,he pointed at it "You can go in now Miss" "Thank you". The bodyguard stared at Harper as she went into the room.When they were in the elevator just now, he couldn't help but sneak a peak at her and anytime she noticed she'd ask "Why are you looking at me like that?" in a manner terrifyingly similar to that of the CEO. She was really scary! "What's wrong with you?" The man nearly jumped in fright upon hearing a voice behind him but felt relieved upon seeing it was a fellow colleague "Dude you scared me!" "Why were you staring at the madam like that? You seem scared of her" "I want to quit this job" "What? Why?" "There's going to be two of the CEO now" "Uh?" "While we were in the elevator, the madam looked at me the same way the CEO would look at you if he were mad! I don't think I can stand it" "Tsk. I guess you weren't there just now when the Madam slapped the CEO" "She did what?! And he didn't do anything to her?!" The second man simply shook his head, patted the man's shoulder and smiled "The CEO has finally met his match" before leaving, not sparing a glance at his colleague who was now extremely confused.
"The CEO has agreed to sign the contract?" "Yes,but he said he'll do so on one condition" "What is it?" The secretary in front of Harper gave a sly smile "He'd like you to spend the night with him" "You said what?!"
