Harper entered the room and was stunned by the decorations. This CEO was quite rich,he even had a office in a hotel! She saw a secretary who smiled upon seeing her. "Good afternoon Miss. You must be Harper Carson?" "That's right" "The CEO heard that you want to sign a contract with him and he decided to check it out" "Oh here it is" The secretary took the file from Harper "Please wait here for a bit" "Sure thing"
In a small room that led to a study Harrison was sitting while looking at Harper on the screen. He was right,she had come to sign a contract in the hopes of saving him. Was Harper really willing to go this far for his sake? His eyes slowly turned red but the quiet atmosphere was ruined by Kevin who came in.
"Hey bro,I heard you were slapped by your wife?" Harrison didn't say anything but his gaze was more than enough for Kevin to shut up. "Hehe, it's fine if your wife slaps you, it's a sort of love language" "At least I have a wife" "Come on dude there's probably someone out there that loves me" "Isn't that because of the money you have? They're all going to leave you if you go broke someday" "Nice comeback. But seriously bro what were you doing with another woman? I thought you said you're a one-woman type of guy" "It's none of your business" "You- Fine but...I want to make a bet with you" "Not interested" "It's about sister-in-law" Only then did Harrison turn to look at Kevin "What is it?"
"The CEO has agreed to sign the contract" "Really?" "Yes but only on one condition; he wants you to spend the night with him" "What?!" "You heard me properly I believe. If you aren't willing,he won't sign" Harper was stunned. She has heard several rumors about the CEO and one of them was that he had a strange fetish for women. She thought it was a lie but it turned out to be the truth. What was she going to do now? Harper fidgeted with her fingers.
"Please hurry up and make a decision Miss,there are other people who want to see the CEO" "Well then, I'll do it" Harrison heard what Harper had said and his deep gaze was fixed on the screen. Kevin saw his friend's reaction and couldn't help but laugh "I told you. Women are quick to move on! Don't forget my ten million bro!" But Harrison didn't say a word,he simply kept his gaze fixed on the screen.
The secretary looked at Harper with a hint of disdain "I'll go tell him now" "Wait!" "What is it Miss?" "Please tell your CEO that I also have a condition for him" "What is it?" "Please tell him that if he wants me to spend the night with him,he has to have a fight with my husband". The secretary almost dropped the files she was holding "What?!"
In the study, Kevin nearly spat out his drink "What did she just say?!"
"Miss,are you certain of what you just said? The CEO has quite a lot of bodyguards" "So what? My husband can take on more than twenty bodyguards at once and all on his own" She gestured for the secretary to come closer "And,I don't mean to scare you,but my husband has caught a bullet with his bare hands before. And he's twisted several people's necks! You know that women like strong men don't you? If the CEO has a fight with my husband and doesn't win, I can't help but think of my husband even if I sleep with your CEO! So please go tell your CEO what I just said" "O-okay"
"Bro, your wife is-" "Don't forget to donate ten million dollars to the children's library tomorrow" "Fine. But all those things sister-in-law said you did,are they all true?" Harrison's smile froze as he remembered what his wife had said. Handling more than twenty bodyguards at once, catching a bullet with his bare hands and twisting people's necks? He'd never heard of these great achievements himself!
