"What?! Ruby and Harrison are related?" "I know right, I was really shocked when he told me, turns out she went missing many years ago, he even became a bodyguard so he could find her" "Then how'd she get into the Carson family?" Harper remembered the time she'd asked Harrison for a divorce so she could save her mom and shivers went down her spine. When they got home after the whole fiasco that evening, Harrison had pinned her to the bed. If she hadn't managed to escape, it would have gotten to the next stage! Harper lay down on the sofa as she watched her mom busy herself in the kitchen. She'd wanted to help of course,but Bethany had insisted on her not doing anything. "So that Lauren girl who bullied you at work and got fired for plagiarism somehow came back to the company— and she's the lost heiress of the Whitney family?" "That's right mom, you should have seen the look on everyone's faces, especially mine and Lily's!" "Such a huge bombshell was suddenly dropped unexpectedly, it's no surprise all of you were shocked" "Yeah right,we were all very shocked. And you should have seen the way Catherine's started taking care of her. I bet she wants to use Lauren's influence to get Chloe out of jail" "Chloe's in jail?" "Yeah mom. Bethany turned her head and saw her daughter engrossed in whatever it is she was doing on her phone. "You texting someone?" "Yeah" "Who is it?" "My hubby" "Your hubby? You mean Harrison?" Tell Harrison I said hi" "Will do" Just then, Harper's phone dinged with a text. She looked at it and was so stunned she immediately sat up straight. What in the world?!
