"H-Harrison- what are you *cough* doing?" "Do you really think I don't know what you did?" "I- I didn't do anything!" "You can't deceive me, aren't you the reason Harper wants to divorce me?" Jade's assistant kept slapping his arm begging furiously for him to let go of Jade. "Mr Whitney, please let go!" Clyde came in and was stunned by the scene before him. He immediately rushed to Harrison's side and held his arm "Boss, you have to let go. She'll die at this rate if you don't!"
Upon hearing his assistant's words Harrison didn't listen but rather he tightened his hold on Jade's neck. This caused her to start coughing even harder and tears started to form in her bright green eyes. "Harper wants to divorce me and this woman here's the reason why. I'm going to kill her tonight, and you can't stop me!" Clyde watched in panic as his boss' hold on Jade's neck became even tighter. If this continued, he was really going to have her blood on his hands! How was he supposed to stop him now? That's when an idea hit him
"Boss, you have to let go of Miss Belle. If you don't, she'll die!" "So? I can easily surpress the news!" "Well even if you do, someone will eventually find out and the whole world will know what you did" "I don't care, she deserves it!" "Well sir you may not care about what the world would think, but don't you care about what would the Madam think of you?"
The mention of Harper seemed to have flicked a switch in Harrison. He slowly let go of Jade's neck and her assistant helped her sit on the sofa and gave her a glass of water "Miss, are you okay?" "*Cough, cough* I'm fine" Clyde breathed a sigh of relief. His plan worked! "Clyde, where's Harper?" He had to speak to his wife, she couldn't just leave him like that! "Well right now she seems to be at her mother's place" "Let's go back to Aurora City" "Yes sir"
Harrison turned and was about to leave when the door was opened and Alfred walked in. He looked at Jade who sat on the sofa in a sorry state and at Harrison who had a menacing look. "What is going on here?! Harrison, what did you do to your fiancee?!" Harrison glanced at his grandfather and said "Ask her what she did" before leaving with Clyde. As soon as he was gone, Alfred walked up to Jade and patted her back "Jade dear what happened?" "Nothing, it's just that--" "Just what?" "Harper wants to divorce Harrison and he thinks it's my fault, that's why he came here and ... this happened" "That boy! He's 26 and doesn't know how to behave?! I'm so sorry dear" "It's okay grandfather, I know everything will be fine soon" "Good girl Don't worry about anything okay? I'll see to it myself that Harrison divorces that woman!"
