Chapter 13 – Otis #2

“How long has this been going on?” David asks.

“Couple of months,” I tell them, and they both exclaim, “Months?”

“Okay, sorry, but I have to ask, especially as you are evading the topic that you brought up. How is the sex?”

“The sex is well…” and I can’t help but sigh, which makes both Lars and David chuckle.

“Oh, that good?” David asks.

“But…” And even though I didn’t want to tell them, a voice in the back of my mind tells me that these are my friends and that I need friends to talk to. My other friends wouldn’t understand, they still see me as straight.

“But, what? You need to say something. What’s going on?” David asks gently.

“It’s just, talking about my sex life feels weird, but I need to talk?” I say honestly.

“Look, let’s get away from the garage,” Lars starts. “You never know who is going to walk in. Let’s go to lunch, we can sit at the back and at least have a view of who walks in.”

The paddock is set up just like it was a race weekend. There are a number of buildings, basically one for each of the teams, that act like a mobile HQ for each team. A place for sponsorship events or team briefs, but also each place has a room that’s a canteen. Somewhere we can all eat together.

Walking into the room, there are a few of the technicians, but it isn’t busy and we find a table at the back. Lars goes off and gets us each a drink, returning a few minutes later with three orange juices, and sits down opposite me so the pair of them are facing me.

David looks around at us at the empty tables before turning back to me. “So Otis, what’s going on? We know the sex is good from your reaction, but there is something else, right?”

“The sex is amazing,” I start. “And the blow jobs…”

“No.” Lars holds up his hands. “No, we don’t need to know about that.”

And just because he said that, I leaned forward to whisper, “When I told you about having a crush on Jasper, why didn’t you tell me that getting a blow job from a man was like pure ecstasy?”

“Otis, please for the love of God shut up,” Lars whines, and I lean back, chuckling.

“You wanted me to talk. Last time I checked, blow jobs were part of sex,” I respond.

“Otis has a point, Lars,” David states.

“Okay, fine. I don’t need to know about your blow jobs. Knowing you’re having sex with a man is making my head spin.”

“Lars, shut up,” David says. “So if the blow jobs are good, what else is there? We know your arse is sore so he has to be doing something right.”

“That’s the thing, we have only used toys,” I finally admit. “It’s been amazing and I have loved the sensations. But still only toys.”

“Oh,” is the only response I get from both of them.

“That is bad, right?” I ask.

“Not necessarily. Have you spoken about why? Does he know that this is your first time with a man?” David asks.

“He knows,” I confirm.

“Maybe he’s worried you’ll freak out,” Lars says.

“I haven’t yet. I thought I would. But when I saw his naked body. Fuck. Everything in my life just seemed right. When I dated girls something always felt off. I knew I was attracted to them, but with him?” And another sigh escapes me.

“Okay, we get it. New man is hot,” David adds.

“Yes, he is,” I state firmly.

“Look, so do what makes you happy,” Lars starts. “But fuck, I hate saying that as it means you drive like you did today.”

“I said I would wait till he was ready,” I explain.

“Wait, is this his first time with a man, too?” David asks.

“Oh no. He’s gay. Very out and proud,” I tell them.

“They aren’t in the sport, then. Other than Jasper, me and Lars are with the only openly gay people,” David says.

“Did I just hear my name?” And looking up I see Jasper, and it takes everything I have not to smile up at him.

“Jasper. Perfect timing. You free?” David asks.

“Well, I was actually looking for Lars, who is ten minutes late for a training session,” Jasper says, as he sits down next to me and I instantly feel his foot rub my ankle.

“Shit. Sorry Jasper. I got caught up in Otis’s love life,” Lars says.

“That sounds interesting,” Jasper says, looking over to me, and God I hope I’m acting as well as he is.

“Yes, well it looks like our little Otis here has been harbouring a secret,” Lars says to Jasper.

“What type of secret?” Jasper asks.

How you are giving me some of the best sex of my life.

How I love to see your naked body. How waking up to your blow jobs is one of the best experiences.

That you are making me so happy that I am currently flying around the race track.

These are the words on the tip of my tongue but instead I say, “I’m seeing a man. ”

“David said you were straight?” Jasper responds.

“So did I,” I say, gently rubbing my leg against his.

“But it looks like they haven’t had full sex yet,” Lars adds, but when I look up, it’s David that grabs my attention. He’s staring at Jasper.

“Does he know you’ve never been with a man?” Jasper asks, and I can’t believe how well he’s acting. Like this isn’t a conversation that we’ve already had.

“He knows, and he has been amazing. Taking his time. Making sure that I’m cared for. It’s been the best sex ever,” I say, and that causes the only reaction so far with Jasper. The tiniest tweak of his mouth. No one around the table spots it, but I do.

“Maybe he’s holding back for a reason. Scared that it might be too much for you,” Jasper adds.

“Perhaps,” I say.

“Jasper, we told Otis to just do what makes him happy,” Lars says. “It will happen when the time is right. But at least we have a few months to prepare him.”

“A few months?” Jasper asks confused, giving me a little side glance.

“Yeah, this new man isn’t involved with the sport. So the longest break we have is in the summer,” Lars says.

“Actually,” I start. “He did say he would come to some of my races.” Which isn’t really a lie, it’s just that Jasper will be at all of my races.

“Oh, you’re going to have to introduce us to him. I can’t wait to meet the man who turned you gay,” Lars adds.

“Who did what?” I exclaim, not sure that I heard him right.

“The guy who made you bat for our team,” Lars adds, laughing.

“No. Just no. There is no way I’m introducing him,” I state, plus they already know him.

“So mean,” Lars adds before looking over to Jasper. “Are you ready to get going? I think we might have to discuss my training sessions, too.”

“Why?” Jasper asks.

“This guy has just upped the racing game. I’m going to need to work a lot harder to beat him, but God it will be fun,” Lars explains.

“I don’t plan to make it easy for you. Otis Young, World Champion, sounds nice doesn’t it?”

Both Lars and Jasper get to their feet and go to leave, and I think I hear Lars saying something like ‘he is so fucking fast’ but then they move too far away for me to hear the rest.

“Otis.” David calls my name, and when I look over to him, he opens his mouth to say something but then closes it again.

“You okay David?” I say.

“Be careful. I don’t want to see you get hurt.” And for some reason I think that there is a hidden message behind this, but I have no idea what he means.

“I will,” I reply.

“You know where I am if you need me,” David says as he gets up from his seat and walks away. Leaving me at the table, wondering what the hell that was about.

“There it is,” Jasper’s voice sounds a few minutes later, “forgot my phone.”

I hadn’t even seen that Jasper’s phone was on the table, but I get the impression that he left it there on purpose, especially when he angles himself so that he’s blocking me.

“You told them?” Jasper whispers.

“Not who,” I reply.

“Worked that out.” Jasper smiles.

“Is that okay?” I ask, not that I can take it back.

“Yeah. That was actually a lot of fun.” Jasper smiles. “But God, I wish I could see you tonight.”

“Two weeks and we’re in Australia,” I reply, “but you will have to wait till after the race. I have discovered that racing with a sore arse is not fun.”

“Oh, I’m going to have to remember that.”

Jasper gives me a wink and turns and walks away, and I can feel the smile on my face, that I quickly school when I spot David in the corner of the room, staring at me.

He’s too far away to have heard our conversation, but that strange look is back on his face.

I rise to my feet to go and talk to him, but when I look over again David is gone, and I get a bad feeling deep in my bones.
