Chapter 21

CHAPTER 21

The women watched as the information played on everyone’s faces. The only ones in panic mode were Gabe and Iyei Alberty after Diesel’s latest bomb.

They were suddenly realizing they were fucked and trying to grasp at any straws they could find to save themselves. They were as good as dead.

“If you have all this figured out, then where are the girls?” Iyei sneered, glaring at the women.

“We admit that part still has us a little stumped. But we know they were sold to save your asses since your crew took more than Aiyannei and Enola, who were the main targets. You guys knew that there was an issue with Native American girls being kidnapped across the US, and decided to use that to your advantage. The thing is, I personally don’t think you or your sons are smart enough to pull all of this off on your own. The cartel is limited in what they can do without being detected, especially here on the reservation. You on the other hand think you have a safety net. My teammates agree with me.” Pratt smirked back at Gabe and Iyei.

“You have nothing but false accusations. Women have no fucking brains. They have no business in a man’s job!” Gabe laughed as he shook his head before turning towards Chief Blackfoot. “These bitches are no better…”

Diesel stood up and threw a stack of photos from camera stills that were taken from the school video cameras. Each photo was from different days, based off of the information the girls had left in their diaries.

Chief Blackfoot moved slowly as he picked up the photos, one by one. They were photos of Gave, Iyei, Citali and Anam taking Ayiannei and Enola out of the school, the girls crying as they were being led to a vehicle or one of the men smacking them outside the vehicle.

One photo had Iyei taking both girls out of the school and walking to the vehicle with Gabe and Citali in the vehicle waiting. They could see it was news to the Chief that this was going on.

Raso stood up with her folder and threw it onto the desk with more photos spilling out for the Chief to repeat his actions. These photos show the vehicles that they were driving were driving away from the school in the opposite direction of the reservation.

York stood up and copied both Diesel and Raso’s actions with her pile of photos. Photos that showed the vehicle pulled up to a home that had another car in the driveway and the windows blacked out.

Pratt’s phone rang as York dropped the photos onto the Chief’s desk. She stepped out of the office to take the call.

“Hey Sarge. We’re meeting with Chief Blackfoot now. Oz came through with a shit ton of stuff this morning. What’s up?”

“Captain sent the rest of us here to you in Montana. Rameriez, Cortez and I just landed in Bozeman. We’re waiting for our rental and then we’ll be on the way.”

“Do you remember how to get to Hank’s? I’ll send you the address just to be safe and give Hank the heads up.”

“Yeah. Send me the address to be sure. Give Hank my number. We have a few extras with us to be safe since the captain gave us a rundown of your situation. We have Kap, Kermit and Texas with us. They are letting Viper know they are here with us.”

“Kap? Kapena Hunt? The new guy who looks like the Rock with the Red Scorpions?” Pratt asked, smirking as she looked over at the door.

“Yep. And yeah, I know the question you want to ask. It’s been hilarious to watch Ramz and Kap eye fuck each other. It’s like Diesel and Viper or Raso and Marcus all over again.”

“Good to know. I’ll see you guys back at the house.”

Pratt hung up the phone and sent Hank and the rest of her team a text about the rest of the team in Montana. She advised Hank of Sgt. Brocard’s eta and her phone number.

Pratt put her phone away and stepped back into the room and looked at her teammates with a nod. She looked up at Chief Blackfoot as she nodded to her teammates for them to get ready to head out.

“Chief, I hope you take this seriously. This man has an agenda. He’s using your elders against you. You will have to make the final decision. For the sake of your daughter, and your granddaughters, if you truly do love them, help us find them. Don’t let us be wrong about you.”

With a nod to toward Warcloud, Jace and Catori, the four women turned around and walked out of the room and headed out of the building quickly. They arrived on their motorcycles, now wishing they had taken the SUV instead.

“They are already in Bozeman?” Raso asked, looking at her phone.

“Yeah. Diesel, they brought Kap, Kermit and Texas with them. Sarge as some more intel for us, too. Viper is aware of their being here.” Pratt looked toward the parking lot, feeling like they were being watched.

“What now?” York asked, as she straddled her Harley.

“We head straight to Hank’s. He’s getting those there ready for their arrival since they will be coming in hot. Something tells me that shit’s about to go off the rails. We need to be vigilant since we poked the tiger a little bit more than planned.”

“Works for me. We ride two by two, not how we did this morning. Put our weapons on and make sure we’ve got our eyes and ears open. Let the guys know we’re heading out now.” Diesel agreed, pulling out her phone to message Viper and to have the others on watch.
