Chapter 10 Bargaining

Once Older Brother left.

I finally relaxed.

I realized I'd fallen into Jiang Huai's trap—last night had been completely intentional, and now he had something on me.

While I was wondering what to do.

Jiang Huai lay beside me, propping his head up. "This isn't over."

I asked weakly, "What else do you want?"

He raised a brow and smiled. "What do you think? You can't be the only one who got to enjoy it."

I panicked and crossed my arms over my chest. "No way! I'm straight. Jiang Huai, let me go."

He huffed. "You didn't say you were straight last night when I helped you."

Remembering what I'd done in the heat of the moment made me want to die.

I compromised. "That—no. But however you helped me, I'll help you once."

He stared at me for a while. "Fine."

Older Brother came back, saw me, and moved to deal with me.

Jiang Huai stepped in front. "I took your stuff. Not him."

Older Brother paused. "You don't even watch that kind of thing. Back in the dorms we tried to get you to watch and you refused."

Jiang Huai stayed quiet.

Older Brother kept going. "By the way, your person gone? You're really not introducing your girlfriend to your bro?"

My heart tightened again.

If Older Brother found out what happened between me and Jiang Huai.

I was done.

Jiang Huai glanced at me. "In a while. I'll definitely bring him to meet you."

Older Brother rolled his eyes. "Fine. But when did you even start dating? The only people around you are me and my brother."

I cut Older Brother off fast. I was scared one more second of thinking and he'd figure it out.
