Chapter 16 Bar Encounter

I ran into Wen Qi at the bar handling business.

He raised his glass, blocking my path.

"Xun Ye, long time no see."

Yeah, better if we never met.

I gave him a cold glance.

"Get out of my way."

Years apart, Wen Qi's guts had grown. He didn't scream for a fight on sight.

He said.

"Xun Ye, do you really understand Wen Yu?"

In the quiet private room, Wen Qi tossed out photos of Wen Yu arm-in-arm with a woman.

"Wen Yu has always been popular, especially with girls."

I threw the photos on the table, face full of impatience.

"What does this prove?"

Wen Qi pulled out his phone from his pocket and played a video.

In the video Wen Yu cornered a pretty girl, eyes sharp.

"My Puppy, Xun Ye raised."

I looked at Wen Qi and pried open his hand.

The phone smashed against the wall, screen cracking.

"You know? Anyone who dares stir things between Wen Yu and me dies ugly."

My gaze swept over him inch by inch, like deciding which bone to break.

This wasn't a secret. Even without power, I'd stripped the fat guy who shoved a woman at Wen Yu and hung him upside down over the sea.

Anyone who touched Wen Yu met with accidents.

Wen Qi backed up several steps under my stare.

His eyes still defiant.

"Do you understand Wen Yu?"

"Do you know what he does behind your back?"

"He's the one hitting the Wen Family all along, but everyone thinks he's clean. You're the dirty one."

"Xun Ye, with Wen Yu's status, he'll marry and have kids eventually."

"You watch him so tightly, but he still has a woman around."

"His health is good now. You didn't know?"

The thin medical report showed Wen Yu's key indicators at safe levels.

I suppressed my rising smirk.

Coldly asked.

"What do you want?"
