Unforgivable
Author's pov-
Divya didn't hesitate.
Her heart pounded as she stormed across campus, heading straight for purv. She knew where he'd be-outside near his car, where he always hung out with Rudra.
She spotted him instantly. He was leaning against the hood of his car, scrolling through his phone, while rudra stood beside him, talking about something she didn't care to register.
Purv looked up just as she reached him, and the moment he saw her face, his expression changed. His eyes darkened, his body tensing.
"Divya?" His voice was sharp. "What happened?"
She was still fuming, her hands clenched into fists. But as soon as she met his gaze, her anger twisted into something deeper- something raw.
"Rehan," she bit out. "He touched me again."
For a moment, there was complete silence.
Then purv moved.
It was so fast that even Rudra looked startled.
"Where?" Purv's voice was deadly calm, but his fists were already clenched, his knuckles turning white.
Divya swallowed, realizing she had never seen him like this before. His entire body radiated fury, his chest rising and falling in sharp breaths.
"He grabbed my wrist first," she said, her voice steady. "And then-" she hesitated, her jaw tightening. "He touched my ass again."
That was it.
Purv didn't say another word. He turned on his heel and started walking.
Straight toward rehan.
"Purv!" Divya grabbed his arm, stopping him. "Wait-"
His jaw was locked, his muscles rigid under her grip. "I told him once," he said, his voice controlled but laced with rage. "I'm not telling him again."
Rudra stepped in, sensing the storm brewing. "Purv, don't do something that-"
"I'm going to break his fucking hands," purv growled, shaking off Divya's grip.
Divya knew she had to stop him before things go out of control. She stepped infront of him, pressing her hands against his chest. "Purv, listen to me."
His eyes, blazing with fury, locked onto hers.
"Please," she whispered, her voice softer now. "I don't want you getting into trouble because of him. He's not worth it."
Purv's breathing was ragged. He wanted nothing more than to destroy Rehan, to make him regret ever laying a finger on her. But then he looked at divya-really looked at her.
She wasn't just angry. She was shaken.
And he hated that Rehan had done that to her.
Slowly, purv exhaled, his fists unclenching. But his voice remained lethal.
"This isn't over."
Divya reached up, cupping his face, forcing him to focus on her. "We'll handle this smartly, okay? Not recklessly."
Purv closed his eyes for a moment before nodding stiffly. "Fine."
But deep down, he already knew- rehan had just signed his death warrant.
