The beginning of the end
Author's pov-
Purv didn't sleep that night.
He sat on the edge of his bed, his mind replaying Divya's words over and over again. The way her voice had trembled-just for a second-when she told him what Rehan had done.
He had never felt this kind of rage before.
He had never wanted to destroy someone so completely.
But he couldn't be reckless. Not this time.
He needed to be smart.
The next morning, as soon as rudra arrived at his place, purv spoke without looking up.
"We're taking him down."
Rudra leaned against the wall, arms crossed. "I figured. But what's the plan?"
Purv exhaled, rubbing his temples. "We can't just beat the shit out of him. That won't be enough."
Rudra smirked. "For you, it would be."
Purv's jaw tightened. "I want him to lose everything. I want him to regret ever stepping into Divya's life."
Rudra's smirk faded. He knew purv well enough to understand what that meant.
This wasn't about a fight.
This was about a destruction.
"So, what do we do?" Rudra asked, intrigued.
Purv finally looked up, his eyes cold, calculating. "We'll expose him."
Rudra frowned. "You think he has skeletons in his closet?"
"Everyone does," purv said simply. "We just need to find his."
Rudra nodded. "I'll start digging. But we need a way to make sure he doesn't see this coming."
Purv's gaze darkened. "That's where divya comes in."
Rudra raised an eyebrow. "You want her to be part of this?"
"She has to be," purv said. "Rehan already thinks he can manipulate her. Let him believe that."
Rudra let out a low whistle. "So we let him think he's winning?"
Purv's lips curled into a smirk-one that held no warmth.
"And then we make sure he loses everything."
