Chapter 2 Into the Kitchen
Chaos and screams filled the area outside the private room.
I led the Male Model carefully through the crowd toward the back.
"Where are we going?"
He asked, puzzled. "You'd better not play any tricks!"
"How would I dare!"
The gun pressed against my waist felt way too real.
I complained. "Officer, can you stop pressing it against me? I'm scared you'll fire it by accident."
The Male Model snorted coldly.
"Behave yourself and I won't."
I had no choice but to stay quiet and keep leading the way.
After several turns around the dance floor, I took him deeper inside.
Past the last corner, I stopped in front of a black door. "This is the place."
His face darkened.
He jerked his chin at me. "Open it."
I said okay.
"Wait a second."
He let out a small breath.
"Forget it. Stay by my side. Since you reported this, if anything sudden happens, I'll do my best to keep you safe."
"Huh?"
I scratched my head. "It shouldn't be that dangerous, right?"
He insisted.
"Anyone running this kind of business is ruthless. They don't value human lives at all."
I turned quickly and hid behind him.
"Then you open it."
He breathed lightly.
The next second, he kicked open the black iron door and raised his gun.
"Freeze— What the hell is this place??"
