Chapter 12 The Tattoo Proof
I struggled with all my might. "What else can I do? Of course, clear my own suspicion!"
"That doesn't mean you can seduce a police officer!"
Veins bulged on He Tingzhou's forehead. "Don't take off your pants!"
What was that even about!
My hands were both tightly gripped by him, so I could only headbutt his chin. "Let go! This isn't the time for seduction! I genuinely want to prove my innocence!"
He Tingzhou raised an eyebrow. "Really?"
I nodded repeatedly. Taking the chance as he loosened up, I hurriedly yanked my waistband down—
"Lu Xiaoning!"
"Hey, stop yelling! Just look!"
He Tingzhou shut his eyes tightly. "Impossible. As a police officer, I absolutely will not—"
What a load of nonsense!
I lunged over and pried his eyelids open. "I'm making you look at the tattoo on my lower back!"
He Tingzhou froze for a second, then slightly raised his eyelids.
I pointed at the area on my lower back close to my hip. There was a black thorny rose tattoo there. "I got scalded by boiling water when I was a kid and had a big scar. Recently I wanted to cover the scar, so on a whim I got a rose tattooed on it."
He Tingzhou didn't look so righteous anymore. He bent down halfway and inspected it carefully. "Doesn't the tattoo show when you wear jeans?"
I pulled my pants back up and snapped my fingers at him. "That's the key."
"The 'me' in the surveillance tripped on the carpet and twisted her ankle when she reached the corner."
I recalled the surveillance I had just watched and mimicked the twisting motion. My clothes and waistband immediately tugged up, revealing some of the rose tattoo.
But the "me" in the surveillance had a perfectly clean lower back.
