30. Beast

Chapter Thirty

BEAST

Once we pulled up to my house, I told Kayori to stay in the car.

I wanted to go in first to check Leandra ass before she came in.

Leandra was not about to disrespect my girl no more like she had did the other night.

I walked up to Brick and Dion car and told them they could take a lunch break.

Finally making my way to the car, I heard them drive off and I opened my door.

Soon as I walked in, I was met by two of my security guards sprawled out shot dead with blankets covering half of their bodies.

I scanned the living room and pulled my gun from behind my jeans.

I couldn’t lie and say that I wasn’t afraid.

Right now, I was in hell of fear, my daughter and Leandra was here.

I was scared to see some shit that I wouldn’t be able to take.

When I made it into the family room, anger consumed me.

Laquanna had a gun in her hand, and she brought two armed men that rocked ski mask, covering their faces.

She had Mattea on her hip and soon as she laid eyes on me, she smiled.

“Daddy! Me and mommy play bad guys!”

Laquanna smiled, as she looked over at my mom who was tied down to a chair with duct tape covering her eyes and mouth.

Seeing Teflon walking into the room looking strung the fuck out didn’t surprise me.

He had a gun in his hands, and I wanted to explode.

I had to play this shit cool and figure out a way to kill everybody.

“I only came for one thing, Beast. I never really wanted to off the father of my kid, although you would do it to me like you did my mom as well.”

“Quanna, you really lost your fuckin mind bitch!”

“Bitches!” Mattea cheered as she looked at all of us clueless.

“Tea, watch your mouth,” I told her as Laquanna chuckled.

“You got the nerve to stand in front of me on some cocky shit. The ball is now in my court, Beast,” she taunted. I wanted to charge her, shoot her, do something, but she was definitely right. The ball was in her court.

“Where the fuck is my bitch?” she asked, as she tried to switch arms with Mattea. She aimed the gun at my mom as Teflon told her to chill.

“You said you wouldn’t hurt her, Quanna!” he panicked as I laughed at his sad looking ass.

“You really going out bad, lil bro. You let this bitch get in yo mind and turn against family. What the fuck did I do to you that was so bad, lil nigga?”

I really wanted to know. I didn’t understand how he could live with himself. He would be better off killing himself like Gunna did.

“Don’t answer that shit, Teflon. We’re sticking to the fucking script. Where the fuck is Nia, B? She said she was coming to talk to you.”

“She’s tied up in a warehouse, sort of like the same way you got my momma tied up.”

“I go watch Frozen, mommy!” Mattea demanded.

“Okay baby, mommy will let you go with one of the good guys to watch Frozen. First, daddy got to put his gun down and kick it to Uncle Tef.”

She smiled at me. Not wanting to put my baby girl in harm’s way, I gently placed the gun down and kicked it towards Teflon. He picked it up like a bitch and passed it to Laquanna. As she put Mattea down, one of the men placed his gun on his hip and followed Mattea to her room.

“That’s how you giving it up, Laquanna? Got a stranger nigga going into the room with our daughter alone?”

“Nigga, shut the fuck up and drop down to your knees!” she yelled as I stood still in place.

“Fuck you bitch! You gone have to kill me!”

I balled my fist up and bit my bottom lip until it felt raw. The anger I was feeling was indescribable.

“You know, I was gone leave you alone, take my daughter, live my life with Nia and move the fuck on. You just had to kill my momma, B,” her voice broke. I could see the tears well up in her eyes.

“My fucking momma! Then I hear you done got that fat bitch pregnant! Where the fuck is she? Cause when I’m done with you, I’m gon’ shoot her in her fucking stomach, then kill her and that bastard baby!”

Teflon scratched his shoulders like the crackhead he was, he mouthed the words, I got you.

He took two steps back and Laquanna didn’t even look at him, she was too caught up in her own feelings.

The second guy with the ski mask kept his eyes glued to Teflon as if he was waiting on his order.

I was confused as fuck. I couldn’t trust shit.

If Teflon did get me out of this shit, I still wouldn’t fuck with him.

However, I might give his ass some immunity after he explained how all this shit came about.

“I wonder what Kayori would think if she knew you was the reason her brother Malcom was murdered?”

I heard a gasp and my stomach dropped. I didn’t even have to turn around to know the love of my life was standing behind me probably looking devastated.

“Is that true, Beast?”

I turned around slowly as I heard Laquanna laughing. I faced Kayori and she was holding the Desert Eagle I left in the glove compartment. Her hands shook steadily as she aimed the gun right at me.

“Juicy, it’s not like that. I didn’t kill your brother, baby. I ain’t living foul like that,”

I pleaded with her as the tears were falling fast down her chubby cheeks.

“You might as well. You called the hit because he owed your ass some money! So, you had Teflon off that nigga! How does it feel, bitch? You thought you was slick sleeping with my man, whole time you fuckin a nigga that had your brother killed.”

Pow! Pow! Pow!

Everything happened too fast, I heard different guns go off.

I couldn’t even focus on who got shot because I was on the floor leaking my damn self.

Before my eyes closed, I could see Kayori standing over me with tears falling down her face onto mine.

Maybe she put a nigga out of misery. Lord knows if I lived to tell the tale, nobody was safe.
