116. #4

I can't avoid it forever. One day we'll have to talk about it, right?

He rubbed his nose awkwardly.

"We can switch," Yug finally said.

The moment the words left his mouth, he regretted it.

Ugh. That sounded like I was asking for it. Shut up, Yug.

He grabbed the duvet tightly, trying to hide his embarrassment.

"Nah," Ravi said after a moment. "I'm not really comfortable with that."

"Why not?" Yug asked.

Ravi went quiet.

For once, he didn't have a sarcastic answer.

After a few seconds, he simply shrugged.

And then Yug understood.

It wasn't about preference.

It was about what had happened to Ravi years ago.

A wave of guilt hit him.

How could I forget? He went through something so horrible.

The atmosphere suddenly felt heavier.

Ravi sat there calmly, almost unaffected, but Yug knew better.

He knew Ravi.

He knew how much he hid behind that calm expression.

Before he could think too much, Yug shifted closer and sat on Ravi's lap, catching him off guard.

Ravi's eyes widened slightly.

Yug held his face gently, pressed a small kiss to his lips, and wrapped his arms around him.

For a moment, Ravi didn't move.

It was strange.

This man-this beautiful man who had once hated him more than anyone-was sitting there, holding him like he was the safest place in the world.

And somehow, Ravi liked it.

Yug had always been unpredictable.

Different.

He brought out emotions in Ravi that he had spent years burying.

Slowly, Ravi rested his head on Yug's shoulder.

It felt... nice.

Having someone there.

Someone who didn't expect him to be strong all the time.

Ravi wrapped his arms around Yug.

Yug ran a hand through Ravi's hair while keeping the other on his shoulder.

"I really like to feel your ass on me," Ravi muttered. "But you should know you're heavy and tall as well".

Yug immediately pulled back slightly to look at him.

"I want you to talk about it."

Ravi's expression changed.

"And yes, I'm going to force you."

"What are you talking about?"

"You know exactly what I'm talking about, Ravi."

His voice was quiet but firm.

Ravi looked away.

"There's nothing left to say."

"Did you ever talk to your mother about it?" Yug asked.

Ravi stayed silent for a moment.

"No."

He looked down at their hands.

"It felt strange. She was already struggling when she found out. I couldn't bear seeing her hurt even more."

He gave a small shrug.

"Sometimes sharing things like that feels like it just ruins everything."

"You can share it with me," Yug said.

Ravi looked at him.

"Why?"

Yug held onto the chain around Ravi's neck, his fingers tracing it absentmindedly.

"Because I'm your boyfriend."

He looked directly at him.

"And because I care."

For a moment, Ravi didn't say anything.

He remembered how Alizeh had reacted when he tried to open up before. The fear, the shock, the way everything suddenly felt heavier.

But Yug was different.

"You can trust me," Yug said softly.

Ravi smiled faintly.

"There's not much left to tell. I already told you everything."

He took a breath.

"But there's always that one memory. The one that hurt the most."

Yug listened without interrupting.

"Back then... I couldn't even look at myself in the mirror. I felt broken. I kept thinking that I was supposed to be stronger. That I should have been able to protect myself."

He swallowed.

"It took me years to build myself into someone stronger. Someone I could recognize again."

Ravi looked down at their intertwined hands.

"I don't even remember who I was before that happened."

Yug squeezed his hand.

"You're strong."

His voice was certain.

"You're the strongest person I know."

A pause.

"But you don't have to be strong every second with me."

Yug looked at him.

"You don't have to put on a mask. You can just be yourself."

A small smile appeared on his face.

"And I'm proud of you. Seriously."

Ravi looked at him quietly.

"Sometimes I still remember the day you cried," Yug continued. "I never expected to see that side of you. But I guess that's just being human."

He smiled softly.

"I'm glad you feel safe enough to show that side of yourself. Safe enough to lean on Shaurya."

Yug tightened his hold on Ravi's hand.

"But I want you to feel that way with me too."

Ravi let out a quiet chuckle.

"Stop laughing," Yug immediately said. "I'm being serious."

That only made Ravi smile more.

"I want you to trust me with everything. I don't know how things will work out between us. It's already a mess. But hang in there Ravi", Yug said.

"You don't understand how this stupid face of yours can me do anything. I'm fucking sitting on your lap, hurting my own male ego. Maybe because I like you. I know it's too fast. But I like this feeling. I want to be the one to hold onto you. I like you a lot that it hurts sometimes". Yug said.
